me? complaining about s3? it’s more likely than you think. anyways.

i find it annoying that no matter who you’re with, your LI is way into one of the new islanders. once again lazy repetition of the routes.

like in s2, it’s always gary who almost gets his head turned by returning hannah. it doesn’t matter who he’s with. even if he’s not with mc, he still does the same thing bc he is the character that could be tempted bc that’s who he is. bobby doesn’t really bat an eye because he’s fiercely loyal to mc. that’s. who. he. is.

i just find it OOC for some of the islanders to be like 👀 bc that’s just not who they are. like i don’t think aj or ciaran would ever. but they do. and it’s annoying. the replay value for this season is non existent. i know as soon as it’s over, i’ll never touch it again. just like i did for s1. but even then, after s3 has ended and is complete... i will STILL be playing s2.

this season was just such a let down. especially considering how much better the game got when we went from the first season to the second. but now, we’ve downgraded and tbh s3 is worse than one.

Callum is so innocent thinking Ben can tell him what he’s up to because it would be hysterical to see his face when Ben casually tells him, “Oh my step mum is pregnant by another man so my dad and I are hunting down the geezer so we can murder him in the Arches.”

Remember the times we were looking forward to Callum having his first family Christmas dinner with the Mitchells and him witnessing the whole Sheanu reveal...

The worst part is, coming from Ben all of this makes perfect sense. He’s in thrall to his dad and he always has been. He’s so desperate for that love that he doesn’t understand the control Phil has over him. And the funny thing is, he clearly doesn’t like who he is when he’s in that position. Or in the position when he’s doing terrible things.

But where does he like himself? When he’s with Callum. And Callum is trying to bleed those two worlds together, but Ben can’t have that because it puts Callum at risk of either discovering who Ben really is and rejecting him, or getting hurt in the process.

And then Callum goes and says the thing that the last person who got hurt because of Ben said: I love you. Paul said that, and then Ben got him killed and he can’t have that happen to Callum. So he ends it, destroying them both in the process. 

Top tip for Callum though: If the guy telling you he doesn’t love you, is in tears when he’s doing it? He’s probably lying.

People with mental illnesses who won’t get the help they need on time because there’s no funding for the necessary medical professionals

People who will suffer at the hands of hate crimes because of bigotry endorsed and perpetuated by the highest powers in government

People who will spend their last moments waiting for an ambulance that can’t get there on time because there’s not enough to meet demand

People who have been living on the streets with no way of getting help

People who won’t be able to afford medical costs as our NHS is chipped away piece by piece by private corporations.

If you remember how you felt when you knew Trump was going to be your President - that is how we are feeling now.
