Pieris Formosa var. forestii
This handsome evergreen forms a large shrub/small tree with textured bark and glossy green leaves. In spring it is covered with urn shaped cream flowers that are beloved by bees. The flowers are sweetly scented and remind me of sherbet. The newly emerged leaves are a bright red colour before softening and turning green. So a great plant for all seasons.
