okay this is so real. it's not something i've talked about on this blog but the autistic disconnect from understanding arbitrary, constructed societal expectations and norms absolutely extends to gender SO OFTEN.

can't succeed at being a man or a woman if full, natural understanding of what that means will forever be beyond you. can't succeed at being a man or woman if your sensory needs and dexterity prevent you from executing gender performance within the realm of what's "normal"/"correct".

for some autistics this leads to a lifetime of misery from trying and failing to conform. for other sexier autistics this leads to intentionally failing gender in a myriad of interesting ways and phil's gender being faggot absolutely falls into this category imo!
