Two quick tips... First, if you find your warm ups and/or accessory work falling off your priority list due to time try doing some of your accessory work as either a warm up for the main lifts or superset them in between the main lifts. You don’t have to fatigue yourself out and go to failure... think of it as a primer to warm up smaller muscle groups you’ll be using for the day. You can use less fatiguing equipment like cables or machines. There’s something to be said to having a little blood flowing to wake your ass up before getting to business. Second, don’t shy away from the unilateral (1 arm or 1 leg work)... focusing on one limb at time sometimes allow you to make a better “mind muscle connection”, and because one limb is always resting you can minimize the rest periods and keep the blood flowing. Most of our feed is dedicated to the classic big 3 but we actually do slip in some variations. We’ve become a big fan of the safety squat bar (ssb) over the last year or two.
