He was wearing his Firedrake quidditch sweater sitting next to the hearth in the dining hall. It was the night before the match, and Arturo had his routine. He had Earl Gery tea–hot–with a healthy shot of scotch & honey, he had the Daily Prophet hovering in front of his dark gaze as the amber flickering light of the warm hearth illuminated the crossword page. His quick notes pen was scratching the words Arturo muttered softly over his steaming cuppa hottie tottie. He herd his best friend approach, his footsteps echoing on the castle flagstone floor towards the empty chair in front of Arturo, “what is a five letter word metal blend?”

“Brass? Steel?” With a sigh, Cyril sat on the empty chair and looked back over at Arturo. There were days he wondered if he was best friends with an old man, amused over the fact that Art still did crossword puzzles. “Are you telling me you’re so lonely you’re doing crosswords?”

But when he saw nothing other than food, he wondered how hungry Sybill might be. “Must be starving or extremely goal-oriented,” he commented and smiled at her. “I was actually wondering how you been? I think the last time I saw you was on the first day back.”

Daisy was nervous to say the least, it was the first Quidditch match of the season and she didn’t want to let anyone down. She decided to go for a quick walk around the stadium before heading to the changing rooms. She got to the stadium entry and went through the process of getting searched and it was quite instructive and uncomfortable. “Well, I don’t know about you, but that was definitely an experience I don’t want to go through again”, she said to no one in particular.

He half-expected the campus to double up on securities. Part of the protocol or so he assumed. Prepared for being search, all his hidden goodies were planted and cleverly charmed to be disguised as something else entirely which granted him inside the arena with his joint still in tact. He smirked as he caught up with Daisy, nodding along. “Oh yes, definitely an experience.” Though Frank had gone through worse, he could tell Daisy wasn’t used to this kind of life. With a gentle hand, he touched her arm, guiding her towards a food and beverage booth. “Maybe some butterbeer will cheer you up?”

Amos himself wasn’t as rah-rah-go-team as the rest of the school but he did enjoy playing the sport once in awhile. He was mostly here for Tiberius who was here supporting his younger brother. The half-fae was dressed in the school’s colors and also sported a scarf that had the firedrakes logo embroidered on it. “But admittedly you look cute all in green. Hopefully you’re our lucky Irish chick vs. theirs.”

When it came to quidditch, Iris wasn’t necessary one to jump up and down in excitement. The game itself was rather boring but seeing and supporting Arturo play was something as his younger sister she took pride in. She dressed in university pride but with a tasteful and classy take, pairing her sweater with a mini skirt and some go-go boots (because of the rain otherwise it would have been pumps). The minute she spotted the girl, Iris’s plans of getting a seat stopped to greet Valentina, arm touching the other’s. “Val -- Sit with me? I’m going to be a nervous wreck the entire time and I might need your hand to squeeze.”
