staring at her with a concerned look, jax took her silent reaction as a sign he did something bad. running a hand along his face, his lips pursed as he felt his guard instantly go up again. ‘’this was the night i was going to ask you out. i’ve wanted to get you to notice me for a while, and just to take you out for a night you deserve..’’ he murmured, a hand sliding to hers slowly. ‘’if you want, i will walk out this club and never bother you again.’’ jaxon said quietly, shaking his head slowly. ‘’i like you liv– and i just need you to say something. i thought through out the week how could someone as beautiful and perfect as you notice me? i tried pushing away my feelings for you. believe me, they’ve gotten stronger. i want you to say something– i need you to say something. please, i’m begging you.’’

Liv gulped as he began to speak; unable to master out a single word out of her mouth even when his hand squeezed her to reassure her. She wasn’t expecting this tonight; or any other night considering her mind didn’t even go there ever since Eric left. She was too broken to see what else was out there, to even notice anyone was giving her the attention she craved for. But Jax seemed to be a different story; sure, they hit ot off as friends but even Liv had to admit she caught herself thinking about him too often, or even catching a glimpse at him whenever he wasn’t looking, simply admiring his features. While her mind wrapped the facts around; one became clear - she did like him back. Perhaps, she wasn’t as open as him about her feelings, but she clearly didn’t see him just as a friend. But instead of replying or giving him any kind of word to reassure him she was feeling the same; she cupped his face and leaned in.

immediately grabbing her hand, he turned her around. ‘’is that why? you’re fucking jealous? what part about tonight don’t you get, i’ve been trying to get you to notice me all this ti– fuck this.’’ grabbing her face in his hands, his thumbs ran along her cheeks slowly before leaning in and pressing his lips to hers roughly.  ‘’i never wanted her. she came onto me.’’ he muttered inbetween kisses, pulling back to look at her with a concerned look.

"Jealous?! No! As if! It’s just - it’s just disrespectful when I asked you to be here that you bring a girl!” she rose her voice, not even noticing what he was saying with the mixture of alchol and anger running through her veins. Before she knew it though, his lips were pressed against hers; and Liv was lacking the reaction. She wasn’t ready for this kind of twist, and she definitely wasn’t ready for the butterflies in her stomach slowly raising. She didn’t move, instead remained completely frozen until they pulled away from each other; her blue eyes wide from shock as she stared at him.

sitting down beside her, he brought the drink up to his lips with a confused look. did he do something? jaxon kept drinking, his mind starting to go fuzzy before he set down his glass. not being able to take the silence between them any longer, jax had turned to her with a serious expression. ‘’what the hell did i do to you? i thought we were past the whole you hated me thing?’’ jaxon said in a concerned, yet hurt tone. 

Liv kept her mouth shut, drinking on to keep herself busy, all in attempts not to talk to him. She didn’t even know what was wrong with her, she certainly didn’t understand it. When he finally spoke, she looked over at him, snickering with her tongue. “You didn’t do anything,” she said bitterly, taking another sip of her drink as her gaze went to the brunette that was now trying to bribe the security guard to get to Jax. “Perfect. Now she’s here? Really? If you want her so damn much go fucking get her, don’t parade around in front of my damn eyes,” she snapped, getting up from her seat.

“I know, it’s been a while since I hit the bars,” she chuckled, crossing her arms and leaning against the edge of the bar, smirking at the blonde girl. They had never actually introduced themselves to each other, but when Riley was single they would see each other and occasionally exchange kind words.

“Too long if you asked me. Just because you’re in a relationship doesn’t mean you have to behave like an ol’ woman,” Liv teased, slowly sitting up on the counter she was previously laying on. She never officially met Riley; but knew her boyfriend well enough to be friendly with the girl. “You’re here alone?”

pointing at her jaxon took a few steps back as he laughed. ‘’i’m going to get us a few drinks. you need to get on the level that i’m on, okay? if not– then you need to get higher.’’ he smiled, moving to back up some more and make his way down the steps past the security guard to the bar. while he was getting the drinks, some girl had slid up to him and started flirting with him. his brows were furrowed through out the entire time, just trying to make his way back to liv. eventually she left, and he finally made his way back up the steps immediately extending his hand out to liv with  the drink. ‘’here you go. drink up.’’

Liv’s eyebrows furrowed together as he pointed at her, but before she could of asked him what he meant by it he was already suggesting to get them drinks. She still didn’t understand what he was saying; he definitely left her partly confused, while another part of her screamed non sense she didn’t want to face. He couldn’t possibly be into her in that way, right? He couldn’t of liked her - he didn’t, he shouldn’t, why would he anyway? She watched him walk down to the bar; a bit of a goofy grin plastered over her face up until she saw a brunette leaning in. At first, she simply stared, her expression not even changing much until she saw her hand resting on his. Her smile faded away for unknown reasons; feeling a rather unusual anger raising inside her. Who the hell was that bitch? Did he know her? Did she know him? When he started making his way back up after what seemed to take him forever in her eyes, she was sitting at their booth; her jaw clenched as she took her drink from him without a word.

‘’when i’m angry, i find my happy place. it’s shit advice..’’ his thumb ran along her palm slowly, trying to calm her down as he gazed at their hands. ‘’want my opinion? if you’re angry all the time.. just find what makes you happy.. hold onto it and never let go.’’

She rolled her eyes a bit playfully at his words, shaking her head. “It’s not.. that much,” she commented, her gaze falling down to their interwined hands once more as he gave her a squeeze. “Skating is the only thing that makes me happy these days,” she said, puckering her lips together. “- but not even.. nobody really supports me in it. My parents hate that I’m a skater.”

giving her a smile as he glanced down at her, he pressed a kiss to the corner of her mouth and shook his head slowly. ‘’i dunno.’’ jax murmured, twirling her around again briefly before turning her around again to face him. ‘’i think.. i think i should do somethin’ ‘bout this.’’ he murmured, pressing his forehead against hers.

Liv furrowed her eyebrows a little as he kissed her so close to her mouth; the act giving her a rather uneasy feeling - but she quickly shoke it off as he twirled her around again. “Do something about what? Dancing? Because yeah, I think you should.. “ she joked, biting down on her bottom lip.

moving to pull her around so her back was against him, a hand slid down her side and he took hers– entwining their fingers before starting to dance along with her to the music his face resting in the crook of her neck. ‘’i’ve missed you, ice princess.’’

Liv chuckled again as he pinned her back against his chest, looking down as his hand took a hold of hers. She could feel her stomach making a small twist as they started to sway over the music, but she quickly signed it off to the alcohol in her system. “I bet, who wouldn’t miss me?” she joked, looking up briefly to flash him a smile.

‘’i’m a good listener, ice princess.’’ jax murmured, his eyes never leaving hers as he moved to take her hand. ‘’you sure?’’ 

Liv didn’t say a word as he took her hand, simply staring down at it for a couple of long moments. “I’m angry all the time,” she admitted. “- and I don’t know what to do to stop it,”

‘’honestly, you aren’t. stop lyin’ to me, and talk to me. i’m a friend, one who’s here to offer his shoulder to you.’’ jax murmured, moving to sit infront of her. ‘’talk to me, ice princess. what troubles you?’’

"Oh God,” Liv rolled her eyes, trying to get up from the counter a few times - considering she was still a bit tipsy. “Nothing troubles me, I swear. I’m fine, I’m just.. fine,”

nodding once as he gave the man a sickenly sweet smile, he pushed past him and followed her up to the vip section. ‘’thank god for you savin’ the day ice princess.’’ jax smirked, giving her hand a squeeze as he twirled her around into him. ‘’can i ask you for a dance?’’

"Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, pay me with a drink,” Liv commented playfully, unable to restrain a chuckle as he twirled her around. She blushed slightly as he asked her to dance, pretending to think about his offer before she shrugged with her bare shoulders. “Sure, why not,”

‘’ah, someone’s not in a good mood. should i go then?’’ he murmured, stuffing his hands in the jacket of his coat pocket.

‘’Me? Pfft, nah. I’m fine, I’m better then fine! Aren’t so Jimmy?” she spoke to the bartender who cleaned up the place. “- how did you find me?” she turned to face Jax again.

“Well, you can kindly fuck off, how does that sound for mature?” Liv spoke out on the phone, hanging up as a familiar face walked into now almost empty bar she’s been drinking at since late afternoon. “- would you look at who the cat dragged in,”

Liv turned to see Jax stopped by one of the security guards, rushing down the stairs to stand inbetween them. “He’s with me,” she rose an eyebrow, glaring at the security man until he caved in and decided to let them both up to the VIP section. “Come,” she took Jax’s hand, leading him up.

"I didn’t come to lecture you,” Liv rolled her eyes, sitting across from him. “Hit me up.”

“ what, i’m not allowed to drink anymore ?? ” max rolled his eyes and took another swig from the bottle.

‘’i’m… i’m so sorry about your grandparents.’’ jaxon said, looking over at her with a concerned look but nodded and looked down. ‘’they took care of me for a while, so i stay in contact with them. they’ve supported me.. well through my rough phases and shit like that.’’ jaxon said, starting the car as he pulled out of the parking lot and nodded. ‘’of course we can. and afterwards, the next morning i’ll get that coffee for you.’’ jaxon murmured, giving her a light smile. 

‘’Oh, don’t be sorry. It’s fine, my family is just... weird. My parents aren’t in contact with theirs, so naturally neither am I.” she shrugged again, considering she was quite used to the fact she couldn’t count on anyone as far as family was in the question. She grew up like that. “That’s beautiful, to have someone supporting you like that,” she flashed him a small smile, just as he started up the car. “Deal,” she beamed after his offer.
