The new medieval backgrounds with that painting like artstyle? The bits and pieces being slowly revealed? And Dikke outsmarting everyone and just not having any of it with people’s bs? I LOVE THIS?? IM ACTUALLY INVESTED IN AN ANECDOTE FOR ONCE???

This storyline has genuinely captivated me with its themes of what even counts as right or wrong in a society where religion is so important. To have the right intentions, doing the right thing, but going against the rules of the church. When it comes to justice, is it wrong to be right in one way, or is it right to be wrong in another? Am I making sense? Oh and how people of specific status can get away with going against the beliefs that they preach to the people below them. AUGHH ITS SO JUICY

Not to mention just the way that Dikke’s personality is portrayed and her dialogue in this is SO SCRUMPTIOUS AS WELL I CANT!! IT JUST FEELS SO RIGHT TO SEE HER BEING PORTRAYED SO ACCURATELY AFTER SEEING HER MISCHARACTERIZED SO OFTEN FOR SO LONG (and I know that yes, this is literal official in game Dikke, ofc it’s accurate. And I also get that she’s one of the harder characters to portray when making content on her as a fan. That’s perfectly fine and valid. BUT STILL! IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY TO SEE IT IN MORE THAN JUST HER VOICELINES, YKNOW?)

Idk what it is about fictional women who speak like this, but I’m not immune in the slightest, I’m so not well rn/pos (she’s not speaking old English anymore tho, but her dialogue is still very good to me. But maybe my only critique is the lack of it)

Also, I didn’t know she leaned on walls and stuff this often, but like…I mean…I’m not complaininggg
