Barbra Streisand fans after her film “Yentl” was not nominated for major categories for the 56th Academy Awards. Streisand wrote, produced, directed and starred in the film, and her fans, who viewed the film as a major accomplishment, protested the Academy’s minimal acknowledgment of it.
