There’s a WARM smile that curls with fondness into his features as he turns to face his love. Eyebrows lifting with her suggestion -- a good one, at that. “You know? I can’t think of a single thing I’d enjoy more.” Hands slide gently down Yvaine’s arms and into her hands -- once a boy, now a KING and eager for some respite from their much more hectic days. Not that Tristan holds any sort of negativity towards his newfound duties, much the opposite. That in mind, it would still be nice to step AWAY for an evening.

        She nods in understanding, making it clear enough that she doesn’t think any lesser of him for it. “ Is that by choice or circumstance? ”  Belle knows better than to think that others have the amount of free time that she has to spend on reading. She knows that there are others in the village who work day in and day out simply to keep their family fed. For all she knows, this gentleman could be one of them. “ Oh… ”  She trails off, brows knitted in thought. “ I don’t know if I could choose just one. ”  She pauses, waging an inward debate on the subject. “ I suppose I’m rather partial to Romeo and Juliet. Are you familiar with it? ”

“I’m not sure I would say by CHOICE exactly,” he replies in earnest, recalling books he would enjoy as a child -- that is, before he set off to find his father, only to find himself here. “My only real education has been for my trade and well -- that keeps me QUITE busy,” there’s a small laugh here though he knows the young woman isn’t in on the joke -- that Will does most of, or really, all of the work at the Blacksmith’s. That aside, endearing to watch her wonder though -- her expression clearly and difficultly trying to come to SOME answer to his question. Head shakes at her reply, a shy smile finding his features, “I’m afraid not,” Will adds, somewhat sheepishly, “-- I gather it’s good? If it’s your favorite of ALL you’ve read, it must be.”

QUICK UPDATE !! my rules have been updated to reflect this blog’s new ‘status’ (request only) -- i won’t explain here but basically, i’ll only be getting on this blog to write plotted starters and/or write and queue replies to threads/starters! SO, if you’re interested, the last post on my blog has where you can reach me best so feel free to hit me up!  -- ALSO. my oc, rose murphy, is going to be going back to her solo sideblog for the time being! it’s going to be extremely private and primarily to write with @sythegun since we’ve been working on a plot/verse for a little while. there’s a chance i will open up to threads/plots with a few other people, but right now this is easier for me with so much on my plate! and i’m only moving her to the sideblog because it’s attached to one of my mains so it’ll be easier for me to access as opposed to logging in here. *BLOWS KISSES*

ANNOUNCEMENT!! i haven’t really made up my mind but i’ve been feeling like i need to dial myself back as far as blogs go -- i’ve just got SO many and it’s harder and harder to juggle?? problem is: i LOVE all the muses i write from here to my other blogs so, i can’t bring myself to officially “drop” any of them. so, for this blog at least, i’ve decided it’s gonna mostly be by request? i’m still gonna check the blog regularly, continue any threads i have going obviously, and all that jazz, but i don’t have the time to like be around enough to press for tons of new attention/interactions. if people WANT to write with a muse i have here? i’m 1000000% game, but i just don’t have the time or energy to commit to constantly reaching out or making posts trying to strike things up any more. the blog will only be consistently active when i actually have replies to write and queue up but, again, i WILL be checking it consistently (at least every weekend) so i won’t be gone by any means! below, i’ll put the different (and best) ways to contact me ooc if you’re interested in hitting me up for interactions and/or plotting (and i hope that some of you are cause i truly do love my muses here and i’d love to have the odd threads to write)! these are also for mutuals only so please respect that and let me know who you are if you reach out (and we haven’t been speaking ooc already)!

Everyone has to learn how to live in an environment that has not made it easy for women to claim their place, so I think it’s all women’s responsibility to step forward. My goal is that a girl will watch The Martian or Interstellar and think ‘I want to be an astronaut or a quantum physicist.’ It’s important to show powerful women who are good at their jobs because young girls need those examples.

“No,” she shakes her head, a small chuckle falling from her lips, “-- Not at all, havin’ puppies is a lot of responsibility, especially if it’s by SURPRISE. I’ll get some blood tests going so we can find out for sure -- take it from there? Maybe you could look into gettin’ her FIXED, too. It’ll definitely keep you outta this situation ever again,” Rose adds with brows raised and a soft smile. 

His follow up questions take her a little bit by surprise -- not too many people come in to strike up small talk with the vet. Rose certainly didn’t expect it from HIM, but it’s a nice surprise. A hand raises to tuck some crimson locks behind her ear, “That easy t’tell, huh?” she chuckles, smiling back at him, “-- It’s not so bad, really. Not that I’ve noticed anyway -- it’s been a nice CHANGE, comin’ from Texas, if I’m honest.”
