This could so, so easily have been me. I would have kept saying "no, of course not!" when my last monogamous partner (who was also my first sex partner) asked "but YOU don't want to try polyamory, right?" I would have kept having crushes and I would have kept feeling guilty. I would have continued to equate a single, stable monogamous relationship with happiness, and I would have continued to ignore my other needs and desires in the name of holding on to that. If other circumstances hadn't led to our breaking up, I would have married him and I have no way of knowing if I'd have cracked eventually, or just spent the rest of my life having no idea how happy I could have been if I were just honest with myself.

Getting real tired of people thinking polyamory is selfish.

Meet the Pleiades 😍 (the Seven Sisters in Greek mythology… and yes I know there’s only 4 but the other ones will be joining shortly. I like to name all of my toys after characters in Greek mythology and thought this was fitting.

Anyway, here’s my early birthday present to myself (besides my new tattoo) and I’m soooooo excited to start using them. I’ve never really gotten into anal training although it’s been a kinky interest of mine for quite some time. Maybe I’ll post some pictures of how it goes…

There's even words to describe this particular poly relationship! These three lucky folks are in a V together (it would be called a triad if persons A and B were also romantic and/or sexytype partners) and persons A and B are metamours (because they share a paramour in person C). Pretty awesome way to have a relationship, 10/10 would recommend.

I have a question about polyamory! So let's say we have Person A, Person B, and Person C. Person A and B both like C, and C likes both of them, but A and B only like each other as friends. If they are fine with Person C going out with both of them, does that count as polyamory, or is it only when all people are dating each other? Thanks! (btw this doesn't have to be answered by angry sad and tired, I just want to know the answer to thi question, haha)

(( Mod: It certainly counts as polyamory!! Tbh Poly relationships don’t have to follow a set archetype, as long as everyone in the relationship is aware of who’s dating who and are all okay with it, then it is totally valid! Especially in open poly relationships, someone may want to be with a new person, but they may have to get the approval of their other partner(s) first, so again its all about honesty and making sure everyone involved is okay with the situation. I have a link on this blog with a website with more poly info, and it actually talks about this topic quite a bit! so feel free to check it out if you’d like!
