000,000 Tips and Tricks
Working off your entire sentence can be a daunting task, but with the right knowledge it’s much easier.  A good first step would be to get a level eight augmentation facility (upgrade a facility by buying the right to upgrade it to a certain level, and just use it.), why? Well theirs two augmentations you’ll really want to get your hands on, Contribution Booster and Contribution Booster +, they increase the years reduced when completing missions, and if you didn’t know the years reduced is also what you receive in entitlement points.  Say you complete a special operation (more on that latter) worth ten thousand, with no donations you get ten thousand, with contribution booster you’ll receive an extra two thousand five hundred,
Tumblr media
with just contribution booster + you’ll receive an extra five thousand,
Tumblr media
the best part is they stack for an extra seven thousand five hundred.
Tumblr media
The next thing that helps is getting good weapons, I don’t mean like late bloomer, level ten full, elemental I mean just something that’s got better power, clip size, etc.  This helps you hold your own in special operations (more on that latter).
It always helps to be social, I know it sounds funny, but working off your entire million year sentence on your own is almost impossible.
What missions should you do for reducing your sentence?  Well I recommend passing the campaign first, this will get you your first one hundred thousand years off, and if along the way you’re upgrading things and find you need something from 7-5.  The missions that will reduce your sentence the most are “special operations” these are one time only missions you get at the window of opportunity by selecting “request special operation”, what I mean by “one time only” is that you can do the mission once then it’s gone if you fail the mission its gone, you can receive the same special missions from the window multiple times its just random so you may get a new one or one you’ve done before.  Special missions have a five thousand or ten thousand reward.  But special missions are much harder than normal missions, and require a little extra skill and team mates.  There are also special missions called “retributions” these are much rarer than normal special missions, and a little bit harder.  Retributions always have a reward of ten thousand years, and in the map of a retribution are special materials sometimes required to fully upgrade a weapon, so make sure you collect all the materials you can.
Hope this helps, I would like to thank my friends “Meiko” and “Yu” for helping me with this post, good luck sinners.

How to attain the best weapons.
If you want the best weapon you can get, theres a few things you'll need to know.  A major factor in achieving a high weapon power (the weapon's damage)
Tumblr media
is upgrading it, you upgrade weapons with materials.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The highest weapon level is ten, but at level five, you can prestige the weapon back to level one, or click circle when it asks you "do you want to prestige this weapon to level one" and you can keep upgrading as a none specialty weapon, it will ask you if you want to prestige the weapon every time you upgrade the weapon if you change your mind.  If you pick to prestige it
Tumblr media Tumblr media
you pick one of five specialty models of the weapon (more on that latter)
Tumblr media
but even the same weapon can upgrade differently.  How you ask? Well theirs four different growth rates (used to describe the nature in the way the weapon upgrades), in order from least to greatest, late bloomer, upgrades for less at early levels, but upgrades for much more during later levels, and has the highest level ten power, random, growth rate varies, not worth putting all the time and materials into it if the outcomes not guaranteed to be good, normal, it’s below the late bloomer at level 10, but is above the next one and early bloomers, upgrades for much more at early levels, and less at latter levels, it has lower level ten power than normal and late bloomers, good for players new to the game who may only upgrade the weapon a few times but not much else.  How do you know what growth rate you weapon has? let’s use the Hyuga Mk 2, when manufactured its lowest power is two hundred and nineteen, and the highest power is two hundred and eighty six,
Tumblr media
so there’s a difference of sixty seven, a late bloomer is zero to fifteen percent, you calculate this by multiplying the difference  sixty seven by zero point fifteen 67x0.15=10.05, you then add the ten point zero five to the minimum power of two hundred and nineteen, 10.05+219=229.05, freedom wars always rounds up if the decimal number is 5 or above, if its under five it rounds down.  So the late bloomer Hyuga Mk 2 number is two hundred and nineteen to two hundred and thirty.  To recap, late bloomers, 0.0%-15.0%, random, 16.0%-35.0%, normal, 36.0%-47.0% early bloomer, 48.0%-100.0%.
Along with the growth rate, there is a class of growth rate, a Hyuga Mk 2 that has two hundred and twenty five power and a Hyuga Mk 2 that has two hundred and thirty power, both are late bloomers but the Hyuga Mk 2 with two hundred and thirty power at level ten will have a higher power, because its “best in class” of the late bloomers.  The closer the weapons power is to the maximum of the growth rate the better the class.  The nice thing about best in class is one, you can take weapon “A” which is a late bloomer but not a best in class late bloomer, you can then modify weapon “A” with weapon “B” which can be a random, normal or early bloomer, as long as it’s best in class of that growth rate and second, you cant level down a growth rate class, so don't worry about making weapon "A" worse when weapon modifying.  The outcome of weapon “A” is still a late bloomer, but now is a best in class late bloomer.
Theirs four elements in freedom wars,
Tumblr media
after you damage the abductor with enough of the element, a special elemental effect will occur.  The four elements are electricity, it will stun the abductor for a period of time, ice, it will drop the abductors defense for thirty seconds, fire, will damage the abductor over time for thirty seconds and will'o, it will cause a small explosion for 1000 damage on the abductor.  The elemental effects will occur faster if you and your teammates are using the same element.  Thiers a fifth special weapon model, impact.  Impact is in a totally different category then elements, after enough damage is done with weapons with impact, the abductor will fall down.  Certain weapons have impact naturally, since impacts in a different category, if you upgrade an impact weapon you can then also add an element.
Tumblr media
You can have up to one hundred of an element on a weapon, you cannot have all elements at one hundred though.  You add element to a weapon buy "modifying weapon "A" with weapon "B" if weapon "B" has thirty will'o the outcome of weapon "A" will have some will'o, it’s not exact though the modifying process can be fairly random at times.  You will normally get some will'o added to weapon "A".  The easiest way to get weapon "B"s to add to your weapon "A" is buying level five weapons from the zakka and upgrading them once to the element type you want.
Along with element, growth rate and growth rate class, theirs a weapons rarity level.  Rarity level goes from level one to level eight, the rarity level determines how many module slots the weapon has.  Modules are like skills the weapon can have, e.g. Clip size up (L), theirs also bad modules, e.g. All elements down (M).  You can pay five thousand entitlement points to have a module removed from a weapon, you can find the fraternity girl who will do this for you at a level six cell garden,
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
this level six cell garden is deferent than other cell gardens it’s just a series of hallways that go straight to a big room with the module removing girl, and theirs a guy there who will sell you higher level resources.  A rarity level eight weapon has twelve module slots,
Tumblr media Tumblr media
a rarity level one weapon has two.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
During weapon modifying the modules will most likely get changed, theirs a chance that weapon “A” will keep some modules, there’s a chance that modules from weapon “B” will transfer to weapon “A” and there will be new modules added randomly.  It will ask you if you would like to use a resource to try and influence which modules are installed, theirs resources that will allow you to maintain three positive modules of weapon A, transfer three positive modules from weapon B or their are many resources that will influence a module e.g. element up modes or clip size up modes, its important if your adding a resource to your weapon modification that you read the description of the resource(found towards the bottom of the screen).  Their most likely will be a few modules you don’t like/want on your weapon.
So to get the best weapon you can you will have to manufacture a lot of weapons to get a weapon that is both a late bloomer and a rarity level eight, ten you will want to modify it with a weapon that is best in class of any growth rate, then upgrade it to level five pic the element model you want, then upgrade it to level ten and add more element to it, to end up with a late bloomer best in class rarity level eight and with high element amount, you can do things like thirty will’o and seventy ice, fifty fifty, some of everything or all one hundred on one element,
After notes, wow that was a lot, hopefully this has helped you learn a little more about attaining the best weapon you can, a few of my opinions, when manufacturing weapons to get a rarity level eight late bloomer, make note of all the growth rate minimums and maximums (I’m planning on making a chart with all the weapon growth rat min and max soon) so you know if you come across a best in class of any growth rate.  Also in my opinion ice and will’o are the best elements, because if you have a full team you will be damaging the abductor with a fairly steady stream of damage, fire doesn’t seem to do as much damage as a fifth player would for thirty seconds, and electricity stuns the abductor, that’s nice but does it really help you kill the abductor faster?  Whereas ice lowering his defense for thirty seconds means you and your teammates will be doing a lot more damage for thirty seconds, and the will’o explosions are a nice little chunk of extra damage, and impact is nice but it only slows the abductor down and to get an impact weapon to level ten is a lot harder than other weapons, only my opinion though.
