Sorry for the word dump, I couldn’t fit this in a comment but I can’t help but reply because yes
While it’s great to see both of them again, definitely seemed more on the uncomfortable/ bitter side to me. I’ll admit I don’t pay the closest attention to story so my only impression of the Weinlesefest is that it’s a pretty big deal, with an emphasis on community (or family in a sense, considering Razor’s side of the story and the relationships of other Mond characters).
When first seeing him with Lisa in the knights’ headquarters, although we don’t hear much of their conversation, it seems like Kaeya is already reluctant to go out and ask Diluc for the barrel. I’m still somewhat confused by the dialogue since it either seems like he is there in official capacity to ask for funds for the Weinlesefest with the barrel tacked off to the side as a personal favor, or that Lisa is giving him an official excuse to go to the winery for the barrel.
Kaeya’s relationship with the Dawn Winery is kinda tricky, it might serve as a reminder of the lies he’s keeping after his father left him there, but it’s also part of the family memories he clearly cherishes though it’s uncertain where exactly he stands with Diluc right now. Either way, it’s clear that Kaeya is not comfortable being there and essentially leaves as soon as politely possible.
The travelers participation in the entire part just makes everything more confusing. I’m not even sure if Kaeya goes to Dawn Winery if not for the traveler and Razor showing up to see Lisa. Not to mention the sudden dinner invitation (the friendliness between mc and the NPC playable characters always feels like in another universe Genshin is a romance novel game) and Adelinde having to step in and ask Kaeya to stay for dinner.
I kinda hope they show up in part 3, maybe there’s a little more to the interaction? As it stands, Diluc seems to grunt his way through anything personal while Kaeya just lies and avoids it altogether..
it seems i’m in the minority who was saddened rather than comforted by the kaeya & diluc bit it’s supposed to be the same flavor of fanservicy status quo that we usually get, but the details of it… idk feels like a bad sitcom situation where everyone laughs despite the clearly unfortunate implications kaeya acts and talks like a person who’s completely unsure of his place, anxious to stay at the dawn winery for a non-work related matter, but claiming that it’s his ‘home’ to diluc’s face, then immediately trying to leave before he could get rejected again dawn winery is his home, but also it’s so clearly not, and he knows it all too well and then diluc, of course, doesn’t even have to invite him to dinner personally, because he has a convenient maid who wants the two to get along and then he teases kaeya by saying ‘surely you wouldn’t dream of disappointing adelinde’ once again avoiding saying that he wants him there, too  because i guess making him say ‘kaeya, please stay for dinner’ would ruin the tsundere charm or something thing is, diluc’s reticence kinda worked in situations where he himself was unsure about kaeya’s intentions before, or at least we could think that he might have other reasons, but here? it just feels childish and mean to keep kaeya second-guessing if he’s truly welcome – during an important festival, under the roof they both spent many childhood days together it’s clear to the players that he’s actually also nostalgic about sharing meals with kaeya and his other friends (’big family’ of knights, concept of ‘family’ as a whole), but because of that his attitude comes off all the more callous like, it’s not that he hates or dislikes kaeya… he just doesn’t like him enough to make an effort to reassure him even after dinner diluc says to the traveler that they’re ‘welcome to join dinner again anytime’, with kaeya chiming in that in that case he should tag along with the traveler more often  and then he hurries to leave  it’s just… sad

I think it's interesting to see the reactions to today's Dracula Daily that are like, "He did a racism! He used the g-slur!" and don't go deeper than that. I was born in the early 80s and didn't know the g-slur was a slur until like between 5 and 10 years ago. I mean, there was a whole Disney movie that used the word like it was no big deal when I was in middle school. I'm not saying Disney wouldn't do a racism, I'm saying Disney wouldn't have put language in a 90s kids' movie that wasn't considered "politically correct" in mainstream America at the time. Anyway, my point is that until sometime in the mid 2010s, I honestly thought G****** was just what that group of people were called, or was a term for nomadic people in general. I guarantee there are well-meaning Americans in the year 2022 who aren't tuned into online antiracist discourse who still think that. Stoker could've easily used the word thinking it was no different than calling someone an Englishman or a cowboy.
The blatant racism here is how the Romani are portrayed. They are "without religion, save superstition," i.e. Godless heathens, i.e. their religion isn't a version of Christianity so it isn't a legitimate religion. They're ignorant for only speaking their own language, even though Jonathan doesn't speak or understand it and doesn't understand most of the foreign language he's encountered on this trip. They act overtly deferential and subservient to Jonathan. They take his money and then sell him out to the Count.
If this narrative had only used the word Romani or the name that this particular group of Romani used for themselves (I'm seeing meta that Szgany is a slur, too, but I haven't looked into it), this depiction would still be racist. While it is important to update our language as we gain better information, I think terminology is ultimately less important than whether a marginalized character or group is being portrayed as an offensive racial stereotype. I see all kinds of writing by modern writers, professional and amateur, that uses all the correct 2020s terminology but still portrays characters as the invulnerable black woman, the submissive Asian woman, the predatory brown man, the Jewish moneylender, etc. Again, I'm not saying terminology doesn't matter and shouldn't be critiqued in older writing, I'm just saying we shouldn't let terminology distract from content.

Aerial Sheep Flow
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I may never get tired of drone videos of sheep herding. They are mesmerizing to watch and full of so many characteristics of flow. Like a compressible fluid, the herd squeezes together as it passes through a gate, then spreads and decreases density as it reaches the pasture. (Video credit: L. Patel; via Colossal; submitted by Florian T. and Matevz D.) Read the full article

Royal Tutor Encyclopedia
So if you watch Oushitsu Kyoushi Haine (also know as ‘The Royal Tutor’), maybe you’ll start to think which country is the main inspiration for the mangaka’s Granzreich. In some of the manga’s bonus features it is revealed that the Austro-Hungarian Empire, my country and Austria’s 19th century alliance gives the most of the details to the story. Today I will show you the parallel points of the reality and the fiction based on the first four episodes.
Tumblr media
What we know that the kingdom of Granzreich is basically similar with Austria (in German ‘Österreich’ - ‘österr’ means Austrian) and their capital is Wiener (’Wien’ in German or ‘Vienna’ in English is the capital of Austria). Wiener’s popularity in the time of the show were 1,300,000 people, which is similar to Vienna’s popularity around the early 1900′s. (1,700,000 people if the Wikipedia says right things.)
And what things are the current parallels?
1. Royal Crest
Tumblr media
The Granzreich family crest was based on the Habsbourg family crest - they are the royal family of Austria from the middle ages to the end of the World War II. Althought the crown on the top is a little bit different - that’s the crown from the Austro-Hungarian Empire’s Crest.
2. The Royal Palace
Tumblr media
This was based on the Hofburg Palace, Vienna. This was the first royal palace in the town, but Franz Joseph I, the emperor of the Austro-Hungarian Empire built a bigger palace at the end of the town (Schönbrunn Palace) and the first metro line, because he likes the calm life but hates carriages. Now this is a governmental building and also works as a museum.
3. The Royals
Tumblr media
Franz Joseph I was the main inspiration of the royal prince’s appearances and clothing. The black dress is from his youth and the blue, royal dress is in the early 1900s - he sat on the throne almost 70 years, from 1848 to 1916.
4. The Vain Princess
Tumblr media
This is also based on a true story. Marie Antoinette, child of the Austrian and Hungarian Empress Marie Theresa (1717-1780) was married to the royal family of France as the wife of King Louis the XVI. They lived in big luxury when their people were starving, so in 1789 the france revolution was started and then she killed with the guillotine.
5. The Royal Capital
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The places in the anime were also exist - the Ring (’RingStraße’), the Royal Opera House and the Town Hall. Here are my pictures about these buildings.
+ The Royal Puppy
Tumblr media
Do you wonder which species is the royal dog? It’s a ‘komondor’, a Hungarian shepherd dog. Their fur also mop-like than the puli’s (Mark Zuckerberg’s Beast is also a hungarian dog, a ‘puli’ or mop dog), but their height are bigger to guard the cows or horses.
