Gosh it is actually kind of crazy how I got here with Naivah. The inspiration for Naivah came when I was actually trying to take a break from my Main (Serene) all my RP connections with Serene didn't play the game anymore.

An RP Storyline that I always came back to was a brief RP I had with a Zephirin rper such a long time ago (during Heavensward) A majority of our RP happened through Moogle Mail since we had pretty opposite in-game times. We only RPed together in-game a handful of times. This RP was the whole inspiration for a majority of my writing for the next like 2-3 years!

When I wanted to take my indefinite break from my Serene character, due to that Zephirin rp I made the choice to "kill" her off and weave it into some spicy Ishgard conspiracy that was told through the letters. I went through many names before I settled on Naivah. Actually, Naivah didn't come about till I was looking at "elf" names for an RP I was starting with one of my beloved RP partners. I loved the name so much that I decided that was what I was going to use for my FFXIV character as well.

Then Naivah was born. She is HEAVILY inspired by Evelyn from The Mummy and a druid healer elf that I made for that RP with my friend. While I played FFXIV more, met and wrote with other people she evolved a ton. Even the story I had with Serene evolved while I was writing for her. It's insane for me to think about where Naivah was from when I first started writing for her in xiv in 2019 to now. It's been such a wonderful journey, with TONS of ups and downs. but Naivah has to be one of the most developed characters I've ever written for.

Naivah tends to keep to herself, she has a few childhood friends that she keeps in touch with. One is Erdan who she briefly trained with to be a Gridania Wailer. He went off to be a full fledge one while she went back and forth between Gridania and Ishgard. They will still catch up every now and then when their paths cross in the shroud.

Another pair very dear to her is Valtharen and Bear. There are things she told him about her sister, as well as the man that was hunting her that she had never told anyone before. To say he knew the most about her is an understatement, he potentially knew everything at one point. Not to mention there was a period of time they spent a decent amount of time together.

Naivah's relationship with her parents is very estranged. Growing up she knew her parents were a bit on the stuck-up side and had very clear expectations on what path she was supposed to take. Naivah's relationship started to get strained when her sister, Serene, left Gridania to fight in the Dragonsong war, which her parents were against.

It wasn't until her sister's death that Naivah parted ways from her parents and left Gridania itself. While she lived in Ishgard investigating her sister's death she didn't completely remove them from her life and even now that she is back in Gridania she will still visit them but their relationship is absolutely strained still.

Contrary to popular belief Naivah is partial to Bows and Archery. When she was young before she discovered her affinity for magicks her studies were focused on archery. Once she showed an interest in magic she was sent to the conjurers guild by her sister and ceased her studies, however, she still very much enjoys and prefers in a fight picking up a bow.

Hello! I am back (and new) I obviously deleted my previous blog for Naivah. I was trying to make it a multi-muse blog and then life got in the way and now it's June and here we are making a blog from scratch.

I do have all my previous stories that I wrote for Naivah saved. I wrote them in Gdocs before I posted them here but honestly, I think I may just focus on new stories and build up where she is at character wise now instead of focusing on the past. so I will be doing a lot of writing for her but it will all be new and that is sort of exciting.

I want to incorporate drawing more which will be a new thing for me. So it may be a mix of drawings/screenshots depending on how I am feeling.

I also want to introduce a new character Lynara that I am slowly developing. She is currently on Balmung and I will make things for her soon. She is very underdeveloped so it will take me a while but we'll get there. I wanna say if we had a long-term thing with Naivah and your OC I did not forget you but I do not want to be pushy! If you want to start up again or continue somehow please reach out! I know I disappeared for a few months so I don't want anyone to feel any pressure. If you do amazing, just reach out to me. If not totally cool <3 I still love all of you and a select few are engrained in her story regardless!

Short Bio:

As a ward of the forest, Naivah assists travelers or injured people that may be stranded. Helping the wailers stop poachers and other various tasks that the shroud locals have. When she isn't getting herself lost, or being distracted; she is reading up on the twelve or doing research. She has visible scars and wounds, she will either ignore anyone who asks about them or avoids the subject.

Where you may find her:

Anywhere in the shroud: She will avoid major cities, with the exception of Gridania. Spending most of her time within the shroud looking for locals that need help, especially if they need something from the deep shroud/sylphlands.

Coerthas: It appears that she avoids going within Ishgard, however, she will help out the locals in the cold coerthas regions.

Mor Dhona: It is common for her to help Derek and do her own traveling and research about the Twelve.

Where you may have seen her:

Adventure guild in any city: Where she looks for jobs or quests in her downtime. The only time she spends more time is to eat or have a drink.

Kugane: Some research has brought her to the city from time to time. She will stay if her research keeps her in the city or region late.

Ishgard: very rarely she will step foot in the city. When she does it is to stay at the inn, she keeps her stays restricted to the Forgotten Knight and she tries not to stay for long periods of time.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE ––– –

Hair: Shoulder length chestnut brown, longer on the sides but she usually has it braided or tied up. Eyes: bright lavender Height: 5'3' Build: stocky/tone build from all the traveling. Distinguishing Marks:

A scar that wraps around her neck and stops at her collarbone

A fresh burn covers the top of her right hand and reaches her elbow, sometimes she has it wrapped.

Common Accessories:

An aether compass. Belonging to her deceased sister.

A worn sealed letter, with many creases, shows it's been with her for a while, though she has never delivered it to its intended party, nor re-opened it.

A tattered piece of fabric, torn, ripped covered in stains yet she keeps it neatly folded in her bag and sometimes used to wrap the Aether Compass in.

An over-stuffed satchel - she lugs her bag around full of things she may need on her travels. Her precious items she keeps stored separately in their own smaller bag that almost never leaves her side. She may even sleep with it.

Forest Ward - As well as she knows the Shroud and as much as she lingers around areas where travelers or merchants can get lost (or ambushed) Naivah always keeps an eye out to help anyone that may need it. She will check the adventure guild for any postings of those needing a guide through the shroud to any other region.

Healing services - Whether it may be an emergency or something on the quest board, Naivah will offer her healing services whenever they may be needed. She has skill in both healing magicks and more traditional methods. She is always excited to use her healing salve.

Explorer - Her research tends to take her out of the city-states and far out into the world. Despite her past, she still enjoys exploring, no matter how dangerous a place may look. In fact, that may just encourage her to want to take a look more.

"I'm so sorry to bother you.. but I am lost.." rubbing her hand over her arm she lets out an awkward chuckle - a side effect of her visible injuries (mainly the one on her neck) is that her short-term memory is almost non-existent. It is very common for her to travel somewhere and not remember why she had gone to that place or quite often get lost and forget where she is.

Whispers

A conjurer guild member that had healed Naivah on a recent occasion has expressed concern to the wood wailers about her comings and goings from the Sylphlands. "With burns like that, there cannot be anything good coming from there, Someone needs to stop her from going!"

"I have not seen her in the city since that incident." An Ishgardian Knight who found Naivah unconscious in coerthas sets down his warm ale. "I do not know what could have caused the injury to her neck but, with all that blood, I was sure she was dead."

What I'm looking for:

Really I just want to write silly stories and get up to shenanigans. Can be serious and story-driven with character development, or it can be casual with no expectations. I do not do ERP. Anything romantic that may go further I prefer to fade to black. I will say I do have Naivah loyal to a pairing, so any romantic situations will be incredibly slow-burn since Naivah is still very committed to that particular pairing.
