The secret shafts in the Queen's Chamber of the Great Pyramid of Giza are a fascinating and mysterious subject. Discovered in 1872 by British engineer Waynman Dixon, these shafts , sometimes referred to as air shafts or star shafts, have raised numerous questions among archaeologists and enthusiasts for decades.

Pharaoh Khufu, also known as Cheops. His reign, which took place over 4,500 years ago, left an indelible mark on the world, as he oversaw the construction of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the awe-inspiring Great Pyramid of Giza.

The Queen's Chamber in the Great Pyramid has long been one of the most enigmatic and scrutinized chambers in this magnificent archaeological monument. The Great Pyramid stands as one of the greatest engineering achievements in human history, and the mysteries it harbors continue to stimulate researchers and historians to explore it further.

The Great Pyramid of Giza is undoubtedly one of the most well-known icons of the ancient world. But thousands of other pyramids exist, not just in Egypt, but across the entire globe, including Europe, Asia, Oceania and the Americas. The reason why so many ancient civilizations, many of which had no contact with each other, were constructing pyramids at around the same time remains a bit of a mystery.

Many Egyptians commissioned “magic wands” fashioned from hippopotamus tusks. These kept the dead safe on their journey to the afterlife and protected children from harm. The wands often showed gods relevant to the person’s stage of life — the gods of birth and childhood, for example — holding big, scary knives that would apparently intimidate any evil spirits.
Here’s one from around 1700 BCE:

The Heart Scarab of Hatnefer (ca. 1492–1473 BC)
On the back is a version of the Book of the Dead chapter 30A (not the more common 30B), which reads:
"Heart of my mother, heart of my mother, heart of my (actual) being, do not rise up against me as a witness; do not contend against me in the court of judgement; do not make opposition against me in the presence of the keeper of the balance. You are my bodily ka, a Khnum who has invigorated my limbs. When you ascend to the perfection from which we have come, do not cause our names to stink to the entourage who create mankind in their proper stations, but rather may it go well with us and with the listener so that the judge may rejoice. Do not devise lies against me in the presence of the god, for your reckoning is at hand."

Hey I have a question (i'm dumbly using my writing blog instead my Kemeticism blog but )
For Sekhmet um what kind of things could I give to her as an offering? (If you can't answer it, it's okay)
Hey there! I loved this question! At first, I was worried I wouldn't be able to find anything, but after some digging, I hope these quotes/sources will help you out!
I've also bolded what I think would be easiest/most realistic to use in modern times! :)
"The ancient Egyptians believed that Sekhmet had a cure for every problem. In order to stay on her good side, they offered her food and drink, played music for her, and burned incense."
https://egyptianmuseum.org/deities-sekhmet
"Candles of red, orange, or yellow are helpful (she’s associated with the sun).  Bloodstones, hematite, tiger’s eye, amber, obsidian, and sunstone are also her sacred to her."
https://www.augustines.biz/sekhmet-the-healing-warrior/
And lastly, since Sekhmet is also associated with the sun, I would think anything with a sun/sun-symbolism would work well too!
"The sun disc above her head reminds us she was the defender of the sun, and the uraeus raising at her forehead marks her as the royal Daughter of Ra."
https://www.arce.org/resource/statues-sekhmet-mistress-dread
Hope these ideas can get you started/give you an idea of where to go next!
Best of luck to you!
