i don’t think there’s any way for me to articulate how much i abhor the body. i call it ‘the body’ because it isn’t mine, it isn’t me. not in any approximation. it’s a lumpy, ailing, voracious, gaseous ball of flesh and it makes me sick.

i wasn’t supposed to be bound to this corporeal form, i’m a timeless and primeval horror, a bloodless creature not of this earth, and yet i’m caught in this detestable vat of flesh and blood and sickness.

i’m riddled with ailments of the mind, of the body, pockmarked with scars and scabs and other things i can’t bear to look at. it’s nauseating.
