Her hand moves to the other Digidestined’s as she begins in attempt to tug at Sora. Her cheeks were puffed out as she huffed. “I’m booorrred, and you know the best thing to do when you’re bored? SHOP. Oh, Sora, you should have seen the shops in New York. It would cheer me up when I was missing you all… so yeah, let’s go shopping! You and me! A little girl time,” she twirls and gives Sora a pose – holding up a peace sign and having an all telling wink. “I’ve been dying to make you over.”

Sora watched Mimi twirl around from the corner of her eye, only cocking her head to glance at the girl one she struck her pose. She couldn’t help but smirk at Mimi’s enthusiasm before her eyes flickered down towards what she was wearing. It was nothing special: loose white shorts, a flowing yellow top, sandals- a perfectly comfortable outfit for a perfectly comfortable day.

Still, this wasn’t the first time Mimi suggested making her over. It had initially taken a handful of asks before Sora realized the suggestion wasn’t a slight- it more often than not seemed to be a product of boredom. Sora could easily imagine Mimi wandering her summer afternoons away down some chic street in America, her styled hair somehow resistant to the humidity, her confidence shielding her from doubt that the outfits in the window displays might not look good. Sora imagined Mimi’s excitement after finding a perfect buy probably mimicked the excitement she spun around the room with now. Sora just couldn’t relate.

“Ehh...” she began, flipping her phone open to scroll through nothing, “I like the way I look.”

Update: 4-3-19

Hey all! One last message. The PDFs went out yesterday and the money intends to go out today. All of you thank you so much for all your help and support in this event.

This Tumblr will be shut down and deleted this upcoming Friday as will the discord. The following Monday I’ll be rebranding and reopening up Digimon All Star as a casual server/Tumblr. In the meantime the adventure awaits.

The full photo is up on With the Will! Really nice blend between tri. aesthetic and a more classic look. Takeru has a new terrible hat, Hikari has a nice one, Taichi still has the Daigo tribute shirt, and Sora’s kimono says a lot about where she is in her story. All in all pretty strong.

[ Erm, okay, it’s been awhile since I’ve been online. I’ve posted on some of my other accounts that things have been kind of wild this year and that’s uh, still true. I won’t bore you with the details, but I’m sorry for disappearing! I don’t know who still frequents this hell site but if anyone’s out there who’d like to write anything, I’m making a solid effort to come back over the holiday break. Cool news:

- I really thought about applying to grad school again and didn’t do it- probably for the best :l - I studied for the GREs anyways l: - I wrote a solid 200 words for NaNoWriMo- the most I’ve ever accomplished - I haven’t quit my job yet, which is in and of itself, absolutely incredible - I contributed to a zine! I haven’t said much about it because I’ve been MIA, but it’s my first zine, I was and am super excited about it, and everyone who contributed to the project is incredibly talented.
