“while working on the new tape i became extremely overwhelmed. overwhelmed with the idea that all of my steps now have to be calculated in a way that they had never been thus far. trapped in the vortex of an idea that my next step could be an explosion like the game minefield (old school lol). my work suffered. my relationships demanded more of me that I just couldn’t provide. i gave up a few times. then went back in with the little energy i mustered up during a few hours break. juicing myself until nothing was left. my favorite person broke my heart during this time. and yet I keep writing. this space feels like a simulation. i no longer feel “real”.”
