Some people are really mad about this, when he is literally a health care robot interested in people's physical and emotional needs.

“Saving the jerk who dumped me.”
I just rewatched the entirety of A:TLA for the first time in years and I still love it so much. One of my favorite episodes has always been The Boiling Rock (among other things because it has all my faves Zuko, Sokka, Suki and Mai in one glorious two part episode). I especially love the moment when Mai decides to save Zuko (and company) from death by boiling lake, so I had the urge to paint her.
She isn’t interested in betraying her country and she’s introduced as a very apathetic person, but then this incredibly emotionally repressed girl has a moment when she cares so much she needs to take a stand and acts out of love. Even though she is hurt and mad at Zuko and Azula is right there.
It’s just beautiful to me and I really appreciate her character. Hence, fan art. :)
