Izaya waking up alone in his desk at his apartment and wondering why he had such a weird dream and about Shizuo too, it’s been 2 years since he last saw him and he’s still dreaming of him but Shizuo had his natural brown hair and izaya remembers having glasses over his nose and being friends with a lot of people and the faint smell of old books and he’s so confused and his legs hurt but they hurt less than his heart because he knows Shizuo would never look at him with such softness and tenderness in his eyes like in his dream
