Day 82:

Once again we return to older kitten pictures. He returned home to us on Friday 22nd, and we showered him with affection. He turned back into a curtain climbing ankle biter. And we still love him to bits. Chris was really surprised how much he missed Fionn. It was really sweet to see them bonding again.

Day 81:

Fionn seemed to quite like his time away from home, but he definitely seemed relieved and more comfortable to be back home again. He really missed us and was super affectionate. Even if he turned into mad bastard hours immediately after showing us affection.

Day 80:

Fionn did plenty of furbathing and exploring when staying with granny pants and grand pants. They took good care of him and gave him plenty of playtime and attention. He had free reign of their two story house and experienced running up and down stairs for the first time!

Day 79:

The bottom two pictures here are chonky boy uncle Teddy, who Fionn had some time playing together with this past week. It definitely helped us to see our boy in pictures when we were away. We missed him terribly.

Day 78:

It was really difficult to leave Fionn, knowing we’d b we’d be gone for four days. We left him on Monday and can’t back to him on Friday. But he hid a lot less and was mostly well behaved.

Day 77:

This day should’ve been posted I think on last Sunday, the night before our trip. The next few will be from his stay with his Granny Pants and Grand Pants this past week. He was a mix of well behaved and very naughty. We’ll also be sprinkling in some pictures of his uncle Teddy as my parents interspersed them with pictures they sent to us of Fionn when we were away.

Day 76:

Unfortunately Fionn is back to climbing the curtains, but hopefully it will stop soon. Because the bigger he gets, the more weight he’ll be putting on the curtain rods. And we really don’t want him to hurt himself if he somehow manages to pull the curtain rods out of the wall.

Day 75:

Fionn’s teething should be getting better soon, so hopefully he will stop biting us so often. In the meantime we try to provide alternative biting targets like his hairbrush, but sometimes he just really wants to nibble our hands or my feet.

Day 74:

Sorry for the delay again! I’ll try to catch up more with Fionn posts again. I’m back from the trip and Fionn is happily back at home. I’m posting this on my husband’s birthday (24th) so idk how many posts I can get through. But I should be able to get back in the habit soon

Day 73:

After Fionn started chewing on my hairbrushes, we decided to get him one of his own. We removed the balls from the end and now he uses it occasionally to gnaw on while he is still teething. We also gently brush him with it, which often causes him to regain interest in gnawing at it.

Day 72:

Fionn is still a big fan of cuddling up with us, and playing with his dice. He’s much bigger than he was in comparison to the dice now, but they’re still an excellent source of kicking playtime.

Day 71:

Very sorry for the delay on all these posts. Back to the oldies for now. Last weekend we were at Night Vale (9th March) since we booked it months ago. But our friends as a wedding present also booked a trip to Center Parcs this coming week. Which has meant more a lot of time preparing and packing for me, hence these delays. And since we’re away again, Fionn will have to stay with his grandparents again. We’ll miss him terribly, but I’ll try to keep you all updated!

Day 70:

We came back home last Sunday and picked up our boy. He’d been good for his granny pants and grand pants, but was very excited to see us when we got there. As you can see, he spent plenty of time with his dad when we got home.

Day 69:

So, when we still had money, Chris and I bought tickets to Welcome to Night Vale’s London show. And this led to us needing to take Fionn to stay with my parents and his uncle Teddy on Saturday. We missed him terribly overnight, but we were back home the next day and picked him up to bring him home.

Day 68:

Fionn is still a sweetheart who loves to join us for naps whenever possible. Am I have to do is get into the bedroom and he runs over to see where I’m going. If he doesn’t curl up on the bed next to me, sometimes he’ll wrap himself around my arm or settle on my chest.

Day 67:

Fionn is still a bitey boy, and will absolutely wake me up by nibbling on my hands as I’m asleep. But if he’s being a nice boy then he’ll settle on my chest and just go to sleep with me. These days he’s more naughty than nice though.
