also, in the snes version, apart from child rydia (who changes eye colour as she gets older), iirc these moonmen are the only characters with green eyes! and given the specificity, im almost entirely sure that was intended. relatives :)

No really, I like Kain's sprite, with his ... what is it ? A two-part cape ? Like Batman's, a cape designed to glide in the wind ? There are so many versions of Kain. In black, purple, turquoise, navy blue, with golden touches, without golden touches, with a mask, without mask, with red or yellow eyes for the dragon helmet. I like all of them, even the holy dragoon one, because I'm OBSESSED with armors. 50 versions of Kain. <3

I don't know, do they kiss or hug in Tower of Zot ? Hug would be more logical, that's what happens in the 3D version. But on the GBA version (the one I played many times), it's unclear. Maybe one day I'll make an other version with Rosa's green outfit and Cecil's blue-grey armor and just the hug.

This is how I imagine Cecil would have carried Rydia to Kaipo. Because he didn't put her in his inventory. I wish there was some gameplay during this short sequence where you could feel that he can't fight to his full potential because he has to take care of Rydia. But well, that's such a short sequence ...

I just got to Troia and I’m suuuper underleveled atm (at least I’m assuming I am based on how hard just the regular random encounter battles are). I mean. It could be worse…. I’m just so invested in the plot you’d think I’m trying to speed run this game with how little else I’m doing 💀.
