Cleopatra fue dirigida por J. Gordon Edwards y protagonizada por la vampiresa del momento Theda Bara, Fritz Leiber, Sr. como Julio César y Thurston Hall como Marco Antonio. Fue una de las producciones más elaboradas de Hollywood hasta el momento, con elaborados sets y vestuarios. De acuerdo con el estudio, la película costó USD500.000 y empleó a casi 200 personas. La historia de esta película muda está basada en la obra de William Shakespeare “Marco Antonio y Cleopatra”. Theda Bara aparece en una gran cantidad de fantásticos vestidos bastante osados para la época. La película tuvo un gran éxito. Años después, las normas de Hollywood juzgaron este film como demasiado impúdico para ser visto y las últimas dos copias fueron destruidas en los incendios de los Estudios Fox. Sólo algunos fragmentos, hoy en manos del Museo de Arte Moderno de Nueva York, han sobrevivido hasta nuestros días.

La película se basa en la historia del mismo nombre escrita por Nunnally Johnson , que apareció en el Saturday Evening Post . La historia fue adaptada para la pantalla por Max Marcin , con un guión escrito por Louise Long y Ethel Doherty y títulos por George Marion , Jr; y está realizada en un periodo en el que el box se encontraba en una fase de popularidad. 

Rough House Rosie hasta el momento se presume perdida solo el segundo trailer de 54 segundos sobrevie junto con una parte importante del material gráfico de promoción y algunas fotografías.

The Betrayal (1948) es una película escrita, producida y dirigida por Oscar Micheaux . Actualmente se encuentra perdida. Fue la última película dirigida por Micheaux, que murió en 1951. Sin copia alguna de The Betrayal que se conozca en existencia, es considerada una película perdida , aunque parte del script se puede encontrar en los Archivos del Estado de Nueva York (Scripts Moción Picture Collection ) en Albany, Nueva York . 

The Betrayal (1948) is a race movie written, produced, and directed by Oscar Micheaux. It is based on his book The Wind From Nowhere (1943) and his movie The Homesteader (1919). The movie tells of the tangled relationships among African American farm people in South Dakota. It stars Leroy Collins in his one and only movie role. The movie was poorly received among both white and black critics. No print is known to exist. It is considered a "lost" movie. It was the first race movie to open in a white theater.

The Betrayal was the last film directed by Micheaux, who died in 1951. No print of The Betrayal is known to exist, and it is considered a lost film, although the script can be found in the New York State Archives (Motion Picture Scripts Collection) in Albany, New York.

“King Kong Appears in Edo” película estrenada en Japón en 1938, pero ahora se considera que es una película perdida. La película fue una de las primeras películas sobre el género japonés kaiju. Fue producida por Kinema Zensho sin el permiso de los estadounidenses de la RKO Radio Pictures , que poseía los derechos del personaje de King Kong.

Nunca salió de Japón y todas las copias se perdieron, probablemente durante los bombardeos de la II Guerra Mundial

This film was produced by studio Zenshō Cinema without the permission of RKO Radio Pictures, which owned the rights to the King Kong character. In this film, King Kong attacks medieval Edo (the former name of Tokyo)

The film was not shown outside of Japan and has not been seen since its theatrical run in 1938. It is believed the film either disappeared due to negligence or was destroyed during the bombings of Japan in World War II.

Cleopatra fue dirigida por J. Gordon Edwards y protagonizada por la vampiresa del momento Theda Bara, Fritz Leiber, Sr. como Julio César y Thurston Hall como Marco Antonio.

Fue una de las producciones más elaboradas de Hollywood hasta el momento, con elaborados sets y vestuarios. De acuerdo con el estudio, la película costó USD500.000 y empleó a casi 200 personas.

La historia de esta película muda está basada en la obra de William Shakespeare "Marco Antonio y Cleopatra". Theda Bara aparece en una gran cantidad de fantásticos vestidos bastante osados para la época. La película tuvo un gran éxito.

Años después, las normas de Hollywood juzgaron este film como demasiado impúdico para ser visto y las últimas dos copias fueron destruidas en los incendios de los Estudios Fox. Sólo algunos fragmentos, hoy en manos del Museo de Arte Moderno de Nueva York, han sobrevivido hasta nuestros días.
