Christmas at the Tuileries (Part 8 1/3)

Finally.

Alright, where were we...?

Saint-Just and the Flops were trapped in a never-ending loop between 8pm and 2am cursed to repeat the strange foreign rituals for Christmas. Which is nothing like 18thc French Noël.

First, Saint-Just had horrible flashbacks of the Thermidor crisis.

Then, they skipped the turkey dinner, went straight to exchanging gifts, with mixed results and a lot of strangeness.

We changed things up in the third time loop, opening Santa's presents last because they suck. I fear Saint-Just might get murdered by Vilate and Barère. Also, Carnot got drunk and had drama with Barère.

Well that was eventful.

What's going to happen this time??

The Fourth Time Loop: The Jolly Christmas Campfire

Aren't they adorable and not at all awkward? You can almost forget they killed each other.

First, Carnot is going to cook delicious Christmas steak.

Forever alone Carnot makes a new cameo.

Getting comfortable as Prieur provides the musical entertainment.

Barère can get struck by lightning and set on fire and he just doesn't care.

Oh, Lazare just noticed!

Saint-Just is out of there. He knows how that might play out.

Carnot panics while the horse fantasizes about being a hero...? Well, it is Saint-Just's horse.

Oh finally Barère figured out he was on fire. Ten minutes later. When he's not anymore.

And Vilate shows off how heroic he is when most of the fire has been put out:

Prieur: "Yes, I already did most of that job. Real helpful."

It stuns Vilate into t-posing for a micro-second.

Barère runs away to safety. A billion minutes later. Bro, it's fine now.

They're just standing there like two potted idiots.

Alright, crisis averted! Let's resume this awkward party!

Thinking about posting my stories either on Wattpad or Ao3, but I can't choose… I like Wattpad for outlining my stories (especially the graphics and reading settings), but Ao3 has many tags I can use and ppl can easily see them.

However, I've read that Ao3 has been through some drama and I'm doubting about posting there.
