Have u heard about the flotillas departing now/soon for palestine

yes!!! i think everyone should learn about the freedom flotilla, which is setting sail for gaza very soon and needs to have eyes and ears on it, as israel has a long history of attacking, raiding and occaisonally killing humanitarian workers on aid ships to gaza, as they did in 2010 with the first freedom flotilla (because that's how long Gaza has been under siege)

As a librarian, our printer takes payment like a vending machine, and I think that also has some great despair potential. Dropping change, putting coins in too fast and having to do it all over again, trying to find the dollar slot that's almost hidden for some reason,

Also we're not allowed to read at work because an old coworker shooed off patrons to finish a chapter and I think that's the kind of energy this character should have

In goes roughly twenty dollars. Out comes a senior thesis dissertation that’s due in roughly an hour. The paper jams halfway through. The wail of despair is heard across campus and gives strength and vitality to thesis professors everywhere.

Also Darlene (not her name. not her story) would never shoo away a patron but she works in a local library in a town that has maybe 1,000 people. Including the surrounding homesteads. She doesn’t have a lot to do most days.

speaking of happy trails, my brain simply cannot decide if trace is the kinda person to be hairless or be scruffy body hair-wise. i can see Smooth trace but i can also see scraggly fuzzy trace.

The great thing about being a shapeshifter is that Trace can do whatever they want from second to second. Their favorite form is pretty hairless, though.

Blog Update 4-1-2024

It's already April

We've got a few more ghoulish holidays at the day job, but I've slowly been chugging away at both Greenwarden and TKP. IN fact, I mostly have TKP's origins written -- characters will react differently to each origin, and depending on which one you pick you might have met some of the main cast already...

Each Physician will have a choice in their people of origin: Alandria, Iskar, Ruzayn, and the Mani. Each ethnicity will have four backgrounds, which fall broadly into the categories of soldier, noble, orphan, mage. Each background has a unique backstory, and the Physician will have learned medicine through different means depending on which background you choose!

Every doctor also needs an outlet to stay sane -- pick yours. Each character will have the option to choose between painting, embroidery, music, and woodcarving. Much like most things in TKP, your hobbies can also be weapons. Use your knowledge of mixing paints to make poisons, for instance.

Finally, each Physician can choose either a scientific or mystical approach to healing, which has varying effects. Particularly mysticism, if certain stats are high enough.
