its the real feeling of following along with someone as they suffer and cry and hurt people and then watching them slowly heal and yeah they relapse yeah they hurt the people around them but theyre better than their father theyre better than their family theyre breaking a cycle thats been going on for generations and they find love and that love hurts so bad but they keep trying fuck theyre trying and by the end of it theyre happy and its not that they beat the bad guys or fixed all of the problems in the world its just that they took all of the broken pieces of themselves and glued them back in and made something new and special and wholly them and the people around them try and help as much as they can but in the end thats something they have to do for themselves and no amount of help can be the thing to fix you it has to be you looking at yourself and making the choice to get better
