1 in every thousand Americans have died of covid.  It is literally culling the population.

Not dying of COVID doesn’t mean you haven’t been hospitalized.  It doesn’t mean you won’t have long-term heart, lung, and health damage.  

How many Americans have to die before you care?  

Why do you not care about hundreds of thousands of dead Americans?

More Americans have died from COVID than in every single war in US History, save for WW2 and the Civil War.  How many dead veterans don’t matter to you?

I feel like the desperation to adapt ATLA into live action just speaks to an underestimation of animation as a medium. I can understand adapting a book or even comic to the big screen--it goes from still image or words to motion, to sound and sight and spectacle, but what is the point of adapting a story that was already created for a medium that moves. Is animation not good enough?
