At some point in your life, you were taught that being slightly annoying is an unforgivable sin. Maybe it was by your parents or a teacher or a friend or a bully or an older sibling. But someone taught you that being slightly annoying is a crime punishable by death.

You must unlearn this.

You must accept that all people will be annoying at some point or another in their lives, maybe all of their lives, and that this is okay. It is okay for strangers on the bus, it is okay for children in the grocery store, it is okay for people on social media, and it is okay for you.

If you ever want to truly love your fellow humans, if you ever want to truly love yourself, you must have forgiveness for being annoying.

one important thing that Must be understood about interpersonal relationships is that you have to stop interacting with people who love you like they’re one slip-up away from leaving you. you have to trust that the ppl you love mean what they say. you have to believe that when they say “this hurt my feelings,” that they’re also saying, “can you please love me this other way next time?” and you have to wrap your head around the fact that even if you don’t understand Why someone loves you, you can accept that that they do. true, honest, & open love does not function like hp in a video game !!!!!!

Seeing a Lot of fear going around w/ blogs being terminated and such (for good reason). While I do feel like setting up alternative social media is a good thing just in case, I'm not seeing much mention of RSS? YOU NEED AN RSS READER!! An RSS reader will allow you to anonymously subscribe to almost any social media profile that you can see without being logged in online. Sites with built in RSS will give you better feeds, but there's workarounds for sites that don't. It's a really good solution if all of your friends are heading on multiple different sites. Tumblr has built in RSS!! So does AO3, Neocities, Cohost, MSPFA, Comicfury, Youtube, and others. It's a great way to still make sure you're not missing anything from your friends should your blog be taken down. RSS readers are super simple to set up, for a lot of them that you're not self-hosting, it's as simple as downloading & entering your first feed link. I use Awasu, but I've heard other good free options are NewsBlur and Inoreader.
