Get That Look Review: Casual Usagi
Hello fellow Moonies! Today’s installment of the Get That Look Review is all about comfort and causal wear. And who better to look at for an outfit that matches these qualities than the ever so relaxed queen herself, Usagi Tsukino?
Tumblr media
An obvious throwback to early 90′s fashion (which is slowly treading its way back into the scene), this casual look, one of many for our often carefree heroine, is affordable, easy to assemble, and simply adorable. Marked by the over sized hot pink sweater, high-wasted green shorts, tube socks, and pink chucks to match. this outfit is perfect for an informal get together with friends or any occasion. Each individual piece is priced at a very affordable range of 5.00 USD to 15 USD, making it a great option for those conscious of their budget.
And that marks the end of today’s Get That Look Review! I hope you enjoyed this post and look forward to future reviews and projects! Also, please continue sending suggestions for the Get that Special Review slated for next Monday. Stay beautiful Moonies!

Get That Look Review: Mamoru Chiba
Hello Fellow Moonies! Today’s Get That Look Review will focus on the quintessential masked hero and future king of Earth, Mamoru Chiba.
Tumblr media
Easily one of the more well known characters in the Sailor Moon franchise, Mamoru Chiba juggles the difficult tasks of being the masked superhero Tuxedo Mask, a gifted college student, and dedicated boyfriend to Usagi. Through all of this, he still manages to sport a pretty unique fashion sense which makes this entry perfect for the Get That Look Review. And what better outfit to focus on than his most iconic and daring look to date: what I call the green blazer look.
This entire outfit was relatively easy to put together (as it‘s been engraved into my mind for years and years and years) with a wide range in prices and quality. Each individual piece costs between 10 USD and 70 USD, however, cheaper options are available while maintaining good quality and integrity of the material. While the combination of a green blazer, black turtleneck, and lavender pleated pants may seem odd to you initially, this outfit does actually  posses a level of finesse and style. My favorite piece, the zoot style tuxedo shoes, was certainly the most unique (and costly!) part of the outfit, but cheaper alternatives are also available online. Finished with a brown belt to tie the look together, this outfit is a perfect fall piece to wear as you explore the city.
That’s it for today’s Get That Look Review! I hope you enjoyed today’s installment and look forward to future projects! Remember to leave your comments and suggestions for next week’s Special Character review in the comments, asks, or messages! Stay beautiful Moonies!

Get That Look Special! Michiru Kaioh!
Hello fellow Moonies! I hope you all had a wonderful, well-rested weekend and are enjoying your Monday so far!
Today’s ‘Get That Look Review’ is something a little bit different than the previous week. Today’s entry encompasses a very exciting project I call the ‘Get That Look Special!’ where I do character inspired looks. Unlike a normal Get That Look Review where outfits are inspired from direct source materials, the Get That Special! borrows from character aesthetic and personality. Thus, I create an original look that would be in lieu with whatever character that’s chosen for that particular week. The most exciting part for me is that character requests are taken from you! Every week, requests from specific Sailor Moon characters will be taken from comments, asks, and personal messages, and the most requested character will be reviewed with 3 original outfit pieces!
This week’s request comes from @mrando0fthewoods and we will look at one of my favorite characters from the Sailor Moon franchise:
Tumblr media
Michiru Kaioh. Sailor Neptune herself!
Easily one of the most popular characters in the SM franchise and the anime community, Michiru Kaioh is elegant, intelligent, and strong. Being one of the very first examples of LGBTQ+ representation in mainstream animation, the impact of her relationship with another sailor guardian, Haruka Tenoh (Sailor Uranus), is still being felt more than 20 years later. Her cool personality is very much reflected in her choice of fashion. A combination of elegance and bright colors, Michiru’s overall aesthetic is perfect for anyone trying to capture a similar vibe perfect for the spring and summer. I composed 3 outfits that I think match that complex yet light aesthetic. Let’s get into it!
Look 1:
Tumblr media
A simple yet elegant look, this white shirt dress paired with gorgeous cross strapped heels, a high waist belt, and adorable choker is both elegant and affordable while still capturing that light and summery aesthetic Michiru gives off. This wonderful summer outfit can easily be incorporated into your day to day wardrobe.
Tumblr media
The high elegant nature of much of Michiru’s wardrobe inspired this second outfit. The gorgeous turquoise gown matched with a stunning heel to match epitomizes one of the many high fashion looks Michiru has sported through the SM series. My favorite piece from this look, the crystal flower hair piece, allows for a more polished, complete look/ The entirety of this outfit is rather pricey, but it’s always nice to splurge once and a while, right?
Tumblr media
This final Michiru inspired look, a sophisticated yet casual outfit, is my favorite of the three. A lovely summer hat, sleeveless top with an adorable tie, flowing white skirt, blue heels, and a white pearl earring set makes this look perfect for a day out in town during the summer. The most affordable look out of the three, this Michiru inspired outfit can be found at a variety of online and in store retailers at a reasonable price!
And that’s it for this week’s Get That Look Special! I hope you enjoyed this post and all future projects Fashion-Moon takes part in. If you have a suggestion for next week’s Get That Look Special, feel free to leave a comment or message! Stay beautiful Moonies!

Get That Look Review: Usagi’s Pajamas
Happy Saturday fellow Moonies! In today’s installment of the ‘Get That Look Review’, we focus on a rather comfortable look:
Tumblr media
Usagi’s Pajamas! One of the more comfortable looks in the Sailor Moon franchise, this adorable pink pajama set is definitely a practical and affordable option for those who yearn to lounge around and take naps like Usagi (and me, as well. Naps are great things and honestly deserve more attention and praise).
Anyways, this casual outfit consist of a fabulous pink long sleeve set with dark piping along the seams, available online through a number of online boutiques and clothing stores. Completing this look are the iconic bunny themed slippers and adorable hair bows that one can easily incorporate into any sleep themed suit. The entire collection costs a little bit under 40 USD, so while not the cheapest, it isn't certainly going to break the bank compared to other standard PJ sets.
That’s it for today’s ‘Get That Look Review’! I hope you enjoyed this post and all future projects on this blog! Please look forward to a special ‘Get That Look Review’ on Monday and have a wonderful weekend. Stay Beautiful Moonies!

Get That Look Review: Ikuko Tsukino
Hello fellow Moonies! It’s a new day and a new installment of the ‘Get That Look Review’! Today we focus on the immaculate, Ikuko Tsukino:
Tumblr media
The nurturing (and often spoon wielding) mother figure of the Tsukino household, Mama Ikuko’s style of fashion is very much inspired by the 1950′s homemaker aesthetic. The orange full circle skirt, the most prolific piece in this outfit (as well as the most expensive) visibly resembles the western casual wear of the 1950′s and 1960′s. The pale yellow turtleneck sweater accompanied with the waist length white apron and house slippers accomplishes this effectively as well. Individually, pieces from this look range from $5 USD to $30 USD, making this outfit both elegant and affordable. While not exactly identical, (most notably the white apron which was quite difficult to find), this look still encompasses much of the original source material’s design.
That marks the end of yet another installment of the ‘Get That Look Review’! I hope you enjoyed this entry and look forward to future projects on this blog! Please follow, like, comment, reblog, etc. if you enjoyed this and any other previous reviews as well! Remember to be yourself and stay beautiful Moonies!

Get That Look Review: Usagi as a Radio Host
Hello fellow Moonies! Today’s installment of the ‘Get That Look Review’ involves one of my favorite looks from the first three episodes of the first season of Sailor Moon:
Tumblr media
Radio Host Usagi! Let’s get into it!
Generally speaking, if there was one thing I missed about the original series of Sailor Moon, it was the use of Sailor Moon’s transforming Pen. Countless looks of various styles (that will be covered in the future) spawned from that fabulous en, and the very first of these is the iconic radio personality skirt-suit. Ah the early 90′s.
In a more modernized (and easily accessible) approach I managed to gather a few pieces that brought about a similar vibe as the original look. The hot pink cardigan with middle-down buttons, magenta-red pencil skirt, pale pink shoes, and classic black shades were very easy to locate through a variety of online retailers and department stores. The prices ranged solely on brand name; higher end products obviously priced higher than the discount brands. The necklace was much more challenging as a detail to this outfit, however, still accessible. Once again, this outfit isn’t nearly identical to the original piece but still captures a reminiscent aesthetic.
Thus concludes today’s installment of ‘Get That Look Review’! I hope you enjoyed this review and look forward to future projects under the same line!
Thanks again, and stay beautiful Moonies!

Apparently I can't add links to the stores -___- But if you want them, just send me a message and specify which review you're interested in!
Fashion-Moon Blog Announcement<3
I am super excited to announce the start of my very own Sailor Moon fashion blog! Yay!
I’ve been conceptualizing this idea for a while and finally decided that now may be the time to finally make my dreams a reality! I am very nervous and still getting the hang of things, but please look forward to all of the great things my blog will be providing in the next few days.
Basically, I will recap 1-3 episodes worth of fashion each week emphasizing the clothing itself, the possible inspirations behind each piece, and where to find an outfit similar. Links will be provided in the description to buy said pieces and prices will be included to find the best deal possible. I will also try to incorporate art from the manga, musicals, and other mediums that have showcased Sailor Moon fashion at its best! So please bear with me, look forward to new posts and remember that messages are always open to take suggestions and hear feedback from others!
Have a good day Moonies!!!🌙  ( O.o Do we even use the term ‘Moonies’ anymore? You can probably tell my age just from that term alone haha!)
