Beachy Poses for Sims 3 by Violincat

First off, I want to thank @samssims for her monthly themes, because they are fun and Hot Sim Summer is the direct reason for this pack. I started looking for beach poses and figured we could get more of these, especially for ts3.

12 poses, but the 4th one has 2 variations. Poselisted and nonposelisted.

4t3 Conversion of HLS' Rose's "Draw Me" Robe

A 4t3 conversion of a gorgeous 1910's robe, made originally by HappyLifeSims, now to TS3!

So first of all hellooo, I'm back with a little conversion I made, which may not seem like a lot, but it was a VERY complicated conversion lol. I'm not 100% back, I'm still re-organizing my life and setting the right priorities for me, but as I said before I really want to keep this hobby going because I love it so much!

In other news, my GPU BROKE lol. It was a veeery old gpu and I already bought it used (it was an AMD Radeon HD 6450 💀). But thankfully I had money to buy a new one, a GTX 1050 Ti (which is still a bit old but 1000x better than my old one). In the meantime tho, I'm using my CPU's internal graphics, and guess who didn't take screenshots of this robe on my old GPU in time? ☝️ So I asked the wonderful @deniisu-sims if she could take them for me, and she took the gorgeous pictures you see in the previews. Thank you sooooo much for helping me out!! 💖

Also, I hope Tumblr doesn't do anything about the "nudity", I censored everything after all lol!

Known Problems:

The robe may/will clip with the body that's underneath in some animations. Pretty much inevitable considering its transparency, and I didn't want to make the robe too large!

The sleeves were a headache for me, but I believe I did the best I could considering ts3's bones system. As you can see in the preview, if your sim moves their arms up, they fall to the ground, and if they're close to the body, they'll kinda fold. They'll definitely look off in some animations though!

Plants separated from planters

This is a project I went for on a whim, while working on the previous set of planters. Most of the plants have 4 channels, because I wanted them to be as customizable as possible. The only unavoidable overlays (flowers) are in the Sun Cacti object, and I tried to provide acceptable variations.

It was difficult for me to decide where in the catalog to put these, because most wouldn't expect recolorable stuff in Build. Therefore, you will find these under Buy Mode \ Decor \ Plants, and Outside \ Lawn Decor. They aren't Speedtree objects, so they don't sway in the wind. The Cleaned Branches are also under Decor \ Sculptures, and only have one recolorable channel.

The pots are available as planters HERE and HERE.

Around the Sims 3 | Artificial wall flowers

For few years now, there’s a trend in Paris to put artificial flowers in front of cafés or shops, and it made me want to have some for my Sims cities. I made 8 different shapes to combine together, and two types of flowers: roses and ivy & wild flowers, both being recolorable with 4 channels. (Sims are lucky: these flowers won’t fade with sun light nor darken by dust!)

It will be released on Around the Sims 3 the 5th of April. It’s available in early access for Patreons right now.

Mountain Lion Skin Inspiration

The Idea for the Mountain lion skin came from MrLenski Skyrim Eyes Converted By Moonskin93. In the post it showcased the lovely Kahjiit pictured above on the left. when making the lion skin I did my best to replicate what was pictured while also putting my own spin on it. I can't thank Moonskin93 enough for all her amazing CC and sims3 creations.

The Mountain lion skin. One slider crème to grey. All ages. Skin is optimized for feline faces seen in Skyrim Kahjiits or Improved Anthro Bases.
