to opt out on desktop, click your blog ➡️ blog settings ➡️ scroll til you see visibility options and it’ll be the last option to toggle.

to opt out on mobile, click your blog ➡️ scroll then click visibility ➡️ toggle opt out option.

if you’ve already opted out of showing up in google searches, it’s preselected for you. but you also have to opt out for each blog you own separately, so if you’d like to prevent AI scraping your blog i’d really recommend taking the time to opt out. (source)

you know, my earth (#6K) used to be great, Asgard and shield worked together to create well, a shield, protecting earth from invasion but some big corporations collider went off, triggered by one in a different universe and a micro black hole formed, destroying a few keys parts of the Shield Array, after that, we got invaded. In a last ditch effort to save everyone a few Shield and Asgard big wigs created the Spiders Program, they created these nasty ass spiders with radioactive and magical venom and well, I figured I would volunteer, I already lost almost everyone I knew. Found out I'm part Asgardian while we were at it, that raised some brows and made me question my grandmother's marriage. We managed to fight back the invasion, repair the Shield Arrays and now our earth's safe, but in all the excitement we found out about the multiverse and some of us got permission to explore, I was one of them. It was either that or become someone's puppet.

Frost: so kingpin caused your collider fuckup too?

Miles: yeah, he just wante- wait! you've got a kingpin in your universe too?

Frost: yeah, big muscled bloke, looks like a potato. Gotta say, does not taste the way he looks

Miles: how do you....

Frost: I bit him

Miles: why?!

Frost: My hands were tied.

The impact Spiderverse has on art and artists is INSANE. Everyone is drawing, everyone is CREATING. From colour studies, to the art style studies, to making sona influenced by the movies' character designs. AI generated images are nowhere to be seen, and I hope they're going to stay buried in the uncreative pits they belong in... the world is in balance.

dear non-spanish speakers writing spiderverse fanfiction (or anything with spanglish),

in spanglish you don’t switch by word, you switch by phrase.

it’s not:

“[first part of the sentence in english], [second part of the sentence in english], mi amor.”

“[full english sentence], querida.”

it’s:

“[first part of the sentence in english], [segunda parte de la frase en español], mi amor.”

also miles is boricua, miguel is mexican. they have two different accents and use different vocabulary for certain words.

also miles is “nyourican” - a puerto rican native to new york - while his mom is directly from the island, so there are differences there, too, because his spanish is more influence by new york english.

in spanish most words are gendered, so most feminine words end in a and masculine/gender neutral words end in o. adding ito/ita makes something cuter, smaller and more affectionate.

spanish nicknames that aren’t “mi amor”

“querido/a” - darling

“cariño” - dear (always masculine regardless, of who its being said to)

“mi princesa/príncipe” - my prince/princess

“mi rey/reina” - my king/queen

“papí/mamí” - can be used in any way; romantic, sexual, familial for one’s parent or child, or just platonically

“tesoro” - treasure

also spanish is a language that uses adjectives as terms of affection both cute ones and ones that might sound insensitive in english

gordo (fat), flaco (skinny), negro (black), blanco (white), linda (pretty), bella (beautiful), morena (brown skin), etc.

and like most languages that are not english, spanish has multiple ways of saying i love you.

“te amo” - romantic

“te quiero” - familial, platonic (although there’s nothing wrong with using it romantically)
