JK Rowling has used her billionaire legal team to silence a Jewish woman for telling the truth about her contempt for trans victims of the Holocaust.

Scotland’s network of “freedom of speech” organisations, as per usual, have nothing to say about the use of wealth to gag critics of the wealthy.

However fast they race to condemn the LGBT+ community for saying the names of those who harm us. Statements at the ready to insist that transphobes no one wants to work with anymore must be given every possible opportunity to gain from their bigotry.

But it's not the billionaires who are being silenced, as our media breathlessly echo their every hateful proclamation.

It's journalists and activists forced to publicly humiliate themselves under the weight and the threat of billionaire legal teams or be driven into destitution.

We deserve better. Freedom of speech needs to mean something

There's a brand new drawing trend going around on Twitter, and seeing as I sorta missed the bandwagon for the previous one because I took too long thinking of an idea, I decided to not let that happen again.  I'm always beating myself up about missing fun trends and bandwagons, but honestly I want that to end.  If I feel inspired, I'm just gonna go for it no matter what. No letting my overly organized brain push things to the side because they're "not in the order".  That's legit the reason I miss out on so many trends. 

But yeah, back to the actual subject at hand: The trend is drawing your characters in this clothing combo of a bikini top with big oversized jeans. Think "Nami from One Piece", cause I sure did.  Esther felt like THE perfect person to wear this outfit...after Dusk of course. But I can't just default to him for everything, I gotta draw some of my other OC's as well~ And I've been neglecting Esther for far too long, she's honestly quite the fan favorite on Twitter.

ALSO, I've gotten a lot better at drawing her athletic figure, getting it to the level of fit that I think it should be. I don't think I'm 100% there yet, but like 90% of the way there.  Love that even with the warnings I give people about her crushing them potentially with a hug, no one minds and in fact I think that's summoned MORE people to invite her to hug them? Absolutely brave men and women, the lot of you.  Your sacrifices shall not be made in vain. 

You've also made her super happy, which good on ya~

🔥 unsolicited, my unpopular pizza tower opinion is that I um. I don't think peppino is actually any better off postgame. Like financially I mean. It's not like the tower was stealing his customers or anything, and he's still out in the middle of fuckdamn nowhere, which I assume is the main reason his business was failing in the first place. He's got some peace of mind and some new pals postgame sure, but uh. Far as i can tell the main problems haven't really changed at all.

Of COURSE I had to put Dusk in a bunnygirl outfit. Not only had I already designed it beforehand, meaning it was the fastest one to draw as I didn't have to make a brand new bunny design from scratch, but messing with Dusk to make him react in such a cute and embarassed way is practically my modus operandi at this point, and making him a chibi just makes that work so much better <3 Look at how cute he is, I bet he squeaks when you tease him~ And his little blush due to being so soft and jiggly...gaaaaah I wanna poke him <3

Okay, enough squeeing about my own OC.  A few tidbits about Dusk's design and bunnygirl outfit. ---------------------------------------------------------------- The mountain insignia has been a core part of Dusk's design from even back when he was still called Darwin. It's just something simple I thought would look good on a shirt, and then it sort of evolved to be his logo as a whole since on its side it makes for a pretty good "D". Triangles are just also really solid shapes that can be combined for patterns and structural integrity, playing into Dusk's main way of utilizing his ice powers through the use of constructs.  People, including myself, kinda forget that Dusk is actually rather scrappy and can hold his own in a fight...it's just that it's THAT much fun to tease someone like that because of the contrast. Maybe I should draw some evidence of him in battles to sorta balance out the mood a bit.

So for Easter I decided to draw a few bunny girls, but I didn't want to take too much time since admittedly the holiday just sorta...sprung up on my by surprise. I legit did not realize Easter fell in march this year, I thought I had more time!

Well, better a little late than never. I decided to make them all chibi designs to make it a bit easier on myself...and UH OH I pulled an Evo and made wverything harder on myself because I never know when to stop adding details like a dork. 

Ahh well, at least they came out cute because of my attention to detail. Plus I tried a brand new drawing technique for linework with my pen, and I think it's a good evolution for my style. 

Now to figure out how shading works and I'll be golden.

But enough rambling about the background of this piece, here's more on the actual in universe stuff. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Honestly, despite Dawn's personality having a huge shift since I made her, she's still got elements of her original "shy UwU bean" that haven't completely gone away. While her dominant personality is pretty much "constantly angy cat", it's easy to see that it's a bit of a facade that hides her original cute and giggly self underneath. Once it's shattered, it's easy to make her all flustered again. Having her wear a cute bunnygirl costume is ONE of said ways to bring out that personality of hers all over again~

Outfit wise, I've been leaning towards giving her a more definitive "arctic/polar" aesthetic as compared to the other two ice users Dusk and Twila. Dawn's the one most associated with the cold winter night sky with plenty of stars, a combination of beauty and serenity coupled by a sense of slight melancholic loneliness. Kinda fits her personality to a T~ With that, I like using a combination of dark blues (to represent the night sky) and light cyans and whites (for the snow and stars).

With that in mind, her main outfit might get a bit of a redesign in the future. Especially since like...I've noticed a ton of my OC's have similar outfits because of my biases when it comes to fashion.
