since youre an anime fan do you have any recommendations?

I was actually talking abt this to some other radfems the other day but anime is kinda hard to give recs for because of how misogynistic it tends to be D: a lot of the anime I like is from before I peaked, and I actually don't watch that much anime to begin with.

That being said, I do enjoy:

- Madoka Magica : probably my favorite anime of all time. Magical girls with a dark twist, the design of the transformations and the settings for the witch labrynths, its super artful and also theres LESBIANS!!! That show turned me lesbian probably

- Deathnote : it still has a fandom after all these years, its very very of its time and dramatic emo but I still love it, it gets kinda worse After That One Point (deathnote fans know exactly what im talking about </3) and so we all kinda disavow the last couple of episodes, but its still super worth the watch.

- Spy x Family : A spy, an assassin, and a psychic pretending to be a normal family, and none of them know each others secret. What more could you want? Its hilarious, its adorable, its emotional, I'm not caught up and I will soon but it's definitely a beloved classic in my heart.

- Toilet Bound Hanako Kun : I've been told its better to read the manga but I've unfortunately only seen the anime so far, but even then the anime is wonderful. It's super cute and funny and the art is GORGEOUS and I am generally in love with the series, its just !! its so good !! I love it !!

- Chainsaw Man : this is probably a WEIRD rec and CSM is definitely not everyones cup of tea, especially if you're a radfem. Theres a lot of fan servicey jokes but it... almost feels like a parody of stupid anime fan service? The MCs attitude makes a little bit more sense considering his upbringing and overall the hijinks are pretty funny. This show is super gory and super dark, theres heavy implications of grooming as well so its not for the faint of heart, but if you're down for some gritty action and crude jokes then definitely check it out.

most autistics will not be able to hold a job, go to college, or live on their own

autism rarely travels alone and has many medical comorbidities like epilepsy, mitochondrial disorders, and genetic disorders (which are the most common comorbidities - these aren’t rare complications.)

we can have discussions about autism and ableism and how society sees us without spreading misinformation.

autism is a lifelong, often debilitating neurodevelopmental and genetic disorder that affects how one communicates and interacts with the world. it is not “just being socially awkward” or feeling nervous in social situations. it is a neurological disability. start treating it like one.

"bluntly honest" autism but in the sense that i absolutely cannot refrain from complimenting strangers if i like their earrings or their shirt or i think they have a friendly-sounding laugh or i think their art is beautiful or i think the fic they wrote portrays the characters so well. "bluntly honest" doesn't have to mean "mean". i love to tell people things that are kind and also true.

sexualization of female athletes is so disgusting and it makes me SO mad. a woman can never focus solely on her sport, she also has to make sure her physique looks good in skin tight spandex. and she has to constantly self-monitor to make sure she’s not accidentally flashing the crowd. and even if she’s the most skilled and talented athlete in the world, she still gets dolled up and paraded around like some kind of sexy show pony. it’s seriously ridiculous.
