Warriors headcanon: He's the hero before Wild. He's the Hero from 10,000 years ago. He fought the first Calamity years after his first adventure, won, and saved Hyrule. Except at the time of Linked Universe, he hasn't yet fought the Calamity. He does not know that Wild's past is his future.

Wild headcanon: He's dreading meeting the hero from the first calamity, because what would they ever think of him if they knew he failed? He's positive the Hero of 10,000 Years Ago would hate him. He's convinced they would see him as a failure. He does not know the Hero of 10,000 Years ago is his brother.

Warriors headcanon: He likes Wild. Wild is his brother. He's knows he comes after the others, and everyone knows Wild comes at the end. Which means he's sometime after Twilight/Legend/Wind and before Wild. Wild's story is a tragedy to him. Wild's story doesn't have a happy end, in his eyes. He wants to prevent it from happening at all, but if he can't, then he'll prepare Wild as best he can. Warriors is the reason the Yiga exist, but he's also the reason the Shrines were built.

Wild headcanon: He's not actually that upset over what happened to him. He's sad he lost his memories, but eventually he learns to live with the fact that he'll never recover all of them. He's sad about what happened to the Hyrule from his memories, but he loves the Hyrule he lives in now. He's got trauma from dying, but he's also got so much to live for. He mourns what he's lost, but he thanks the Shrine for a second chance. Wild's story, to him, is that of a resurrection. His story has a happy end.

#surprised myself #I have 86 #I would probably have more if I kept forgetting about the bookmark button lol #at first I was fairly selective bc there’s a lot of fics I enjoyed but wouldn’t reread #and I saw the bookmark button as something to come back to and I would reread #while I still somewhat see it as that #I also see it as a kudos+ sort of thing #bc if you look at some of the more popular fics it’s always the kudos that have hundreds if not thousands more #and now that i’ve been on ao3 for awhile I’m much more attuned to how authors appreciate basically any interaction #which I’m very scared bc all my bookmarks are private bc i’m kinda embarrassed abt what I read lol #so if authors don’t see private bookmarks then all of my efforts have been in vain #so if anyone knows tell me pretty please lol #anyways i’m slowly but surely getting better about commenting on fics #I always feel bad that it’s not super deep most of the time #bc I just suck at critical thinking especially when i’m reading fics #but I also know that fandoms kind of need reader-author interactions #and I also have author mutuals and I wanna make them feel appreciated #so while it makes me somewhat uncomfortable #to bookmark and/or comment #I believe it’s something to push aside to make someone else feel better abt what they do #sorry for the long rant in tags #mb team

The LU Gift exchange was so much fun!! From my giftee's prompts and favourite characters I decided on a role reversal of Mask and Warriors, where Warriors is the child hero and Time the older hero!

Like, the sun would be down, the stars litering the sky and Sky and Twi have come back from collecting fire wood for dinner

“Good morning”

“I’m gonna strangle you-“

It’s a habit he gained from the war ok? He’s been doing this for years-

It probably just started out as a joke when one of his friends would regroup after going on their own excursions. It’d be like 5pm when they make it back and the first think Link says is “good morning”

And then Impa would hit him back with something like “good dusk” and try to sound edgy💀💀💀
