However, maybe it’s not so bad when the stranger is Kim Dongyoung. There are hundreds of cells inside a person’s body –thousands, millions, uncountable little beings that make the body work as it does. There are also hormones, proteins, carbohydrates and everything that makes that chain of events happen and function fully. She thinks that every part of her body craves for the heat of another person cuddling to her side from time to time, which is also the same reason why she uses her friends as pillows most of the time; it brings the comfort of a human body –contrary to real pillows- and somewhat, she feels more relaxed when she feels the heat of someone’s skin getting closer to hers, warming it up and creating such a space of reassuring nature. Her eyes are falling close when she hears the sound of the professor giving a lecture, too tired to even pay attention because it was absolutely boring, but she opens her eyes widely and tries to sit up straight once again. She has to pay attention.

But the previous night had been the worst sleepless night of the world. She had finals that week, meaning that she should study in the afternoons so she had her precious eight hours of sleep at night, but she was surprised by her own organism when her body touched the surface of her soft bed and sleep never crept up on her like it usually did. Her eyes remained closed the entirety of the night but she never a moment of silence inside her brain, it was the most frustrating situation because she really needed to sleep and now the consequences were showing through her eyes. The professor is looking at the whiteboard, talking to his heart’s content and she wondered if she could take a tiny nap. Tiny enough so that the teacher wouldn’t notice she had fallen asleep and just good enough for her to get that itch off her eyes, a very natural symptom of sleep deprivation.

The only downside is that the desk she is sitting at is quite too hard and she can’t sleep properly like that, she will probably end up with the worst ache on her neck. A sigh leaves her lips when she feels her eyes closing once again and she widens them, studying the situation and the atmosphere around her. Sicheng always sat to her right, although she is not sure who attended to class that day, but the blonde male was a good friend of hers and always lent her his shoulder whenever she needed to lay down for a bit. Her thoughts are suddenly brought to the word sleep once again and she decides on the only plan she had, resting her head on Sicheng’s bony shoulder to get those hours of sleep she needed.
