“A-ah, no problem miss,” Yuuri responded with a quick flush of his ears. Social situations with complete strangers were never really his forte, resulting in awkward, stilted conversations at best. 

“I hope nothing else fell.” He bowed and held the photo out for her to take.

“You seemed to have dropped this.”

Katie turned around upon hearing a voice seeing the man holding out a photo of her nephew and niece that seemed to have fallen out of her wallet “oh gosh! thank you so much, I would have never found that by the time I realised it was missing!“ she said reaching for the photo.

Reblog if you are willing to roleplay with an ESL student

For those of you who don’t know, ESL stands for English as a Second Language.

 It has happened to me more than one time to be discriminated because my sentence structure is a bit different and since people care so much for being literate, I would like to know those who don’t really discriminate, as long as it is understandable and it doesn’t show horrible mistakes that makes it hard to read.

“Welcome home, Vitya,” Yuuri said, looking up from his phone with a sly smile. “And yes, I did leave it on. Do you like it?” 

Inwardly, it was all he could do to keep calm as he waited for Viktor’s response. What if this had been just a stupid and foolish idea that was laughable at best? This was stuff straight out the fanfictions that Yuuri definitely did not read when he was younger and could very well just make him a laughingstock to his beloved. He just hoped that the panic did not show through his eyes.

“Me? Ahh, Viktor is busy this year in Russia and my papers are still being processed. I’ll have to spend it alone,” Yuuri said with a small quirk of his lips. He chewed on his lip thoughtfully whilst his insides churned in the beginnings of panic. Why did I go and do that what am I supposed to do now oh my go-

Clearing his throat, Yuuri offered a smile at Minami again, this time one that he hoped conveyed compassion and understanding. 

“I was the same for the longest time too, you know. I never really celebrated it or White Day because there really was no reason.”  In terms of being a good idol, Yuuri knew he had eons to go, but this was a start. With the way that Minami’s eyes lit up he knew that this was a step in the right direction at the very least. After a moment’s careful consideration, the older skater decided to pose a question.

“Do you like chocolates?”

“Do you have a Valentine yet?”

Put “ᴅᴏ yᴏᴜ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ᴀ ᴠᴀʟᴇɴᴛɪɴᴇ yᴇᴛ?” in my ask to see how my muse reacts. ║ NOT Accepting

“Eh?” YuuriKatsuki was talking to him, Yuuri Katsukiwas talking to him holy shit. Notonly talking to him, but asking him about Valentine’sday. Oh god what had he said? Minami was too busy freaking out about the factthat Yuuri had actually reached out to speak to him about something other thanskating, it was a question right?

Valentine’s day… question about Valentines… his hopeful sideimmediately supplied the idea that perhaps the question was ‘would you be myValentine?’ But no, no that wasn’t it Minami knew that couldn’t be right, he wasn’tthat lucky.

Do, it was do, doyou have a Valentines… the hopeful side of him once again supplied the ideathat maybe once he found out that Minami had no Valentine’s plans, he’d offer but… no no that wouldn’t happen Minamionce again shot that idea down, it was good to be hopeful yes, but also good tobe able to know the reality of a situation, not be lost in dreams andunrealistic expectations.

“No, I uh… I’ve neverreally… celebrated it” never had anyone to celebrate with, he had hopes for certain people yes, crushes here and therebut nothing had ever come of it, they’d always gone with other people. “Uhm… what about you?”
