Lately the crypto art scene and crypto itself has felt a little bounce back. It's been fun to watch.

I decided to release a new piece onto MakersPlace to celebrate. It us the second piece ever added onto that platform :) I decided to try something kinda new in that way. It's fun. I also created an etsy shop with physical objects but need to spend more time adding the specific designs. I have so dang many to add! 😉💓

Night Thoughts:

Instead of waiting for an artist to die before we show love to their legacy as a society. We should make it a point to remember to celebrate what they create while alive. Art is such a foundation of what it means to be human and what it means to truly be alive. Art is eternal. Imagine taking part in an artists growth and that legacy lives on for literal ever even after you and they are gone. That is something truly special.

I am so feeling so freaking grateful right now! 16 editions have been minted already on my NIFTY drop! There are 9 days to go on the open edition too. The payment will go to replenishing my savings for Art Basel since I will need food and such while there. I have my tickets and hotel purchased but I am sure there will be more needs while there since it is a ton of events going for days. Today I am also spending time making business cards, art to hand out and finishing up my Shopify website. I am also thinking about getting an etsy account. I am just so freaking thankful for this community, the crypto art space and art as a whole.

I go by Epic Thundercat.

I have been an artist my entire life and I have always felt the passion for creativity within myself. When I see people engaging in creative flow it's like an urge that takes over my body and I absolutely have to create.

When I was a little kid I would invite my friends over to paint with me as well and host "drawing parties". I like to think my art is how I coped with trauma and it increased my resiliency. I do no lt feel I would be here if it was not for my art. 💓

I am pretty friendly so please don't hesitate to reach out. I have no interest in power dynamics and believe all people are created equal. I am neurodivergent as well so I may be a bit awkward but it also means I am able to paint for hours and days even at a time because I get so deep into what I am doing it feels as though the world disappears.

Below is some of my work. I do traditional on paper as well as digital.
