In a city with a severe housing shortage, it may meet a need.
Would you buy the skinny house of Washington, DC? Built last year in 2023, it has 1 bd., 1.5ba, & they're asking $599,990.
Apparently, DC can be dicey, so it has security. Not liking that too much. This is a pretty isolated spot to be in while you're opening the door.
Enter via the long narrow kitchen. Look, each person has a stall to eat at.
Modern Shaker style cabinetry with all appliances.
Then walk past the stairs and sliders to the deck to get to the living room. I don't know what the cut-out under the stairs is for.
I guess you can stand a flatscreen in front of the window. And, you could probably use that shelf as a desk if you want to. It looks like it's just sitting atop 2 blocks, so you can remove it and put another chair side table in.
In the hall outside the living room, there's a half bath for the 1st floor.
Upstairs, there's a long hall.
At one end, is an outer door by the laundry, utilities and bathroom.
It opens to this, sort of, terrace.
The bath is pretty big, but it's a double shower room.
And, this is the bedroom, directly off the 2nd fl. landing. It can't be too huge, b/c the house is so narrow.
This is your deck outside the sliders. I guess you can fit a small grill out here.
Oh, look, there's a dog bed under the stairs. So I guess that's a space to put your pets.
Down further, there are security gates on the doors.
The home is on a 700 sq ft cement lot.
