Note: Soo, hi everyone! Since it's been so long since the last time I posted, I wanted to make something a bit longer, and I came up with the idea of doing like a "compilation" of sweets moments between Ni-ki and Y/N. I'll try to make it as fluff as posible, since we all need a bit of fluff in our lifes. Hope you like it!

When he is sick:

So, I know that I've already post something related to this, but I want to talk about it more. I feel like Ni-ki is the tipe of person who just sleep when he isn't feeling well. BUT he would only sleep if it's with you. He would insist that being near you is the best medicine, and would absolutely beg you to lay with him. And how could you say no to that? So both of you end up cuddling for a long, long time. He would make sure that he is correctly curled up at your side, and would put his head near one of your hands, in case that you want to caress his head. Of course you know this, so you don't hesitate to run your fingers soflty through his hair. The happy sight that scapes the boy's mouth tells you that he is ready for a long nap. And of course, you are ready too :]

When you are sick (or not feeling well):

On the other hand, if it's you the one not feeling well, he would absolutely bring out his gentleman side (not saying that he isn't like that on a daily basis, but we all know that he has a full time job as a prankster). Ni-ki would ask you if there's anything you needed (he'd even make a list) and then rush to the nearest store to get everything. You are sick and need some medicine? Got it. You are on your period and need pads or painkillers? He is on the way. You're craving your fav snacks? Say no more. And the list continues. He'd also make sure that you are always confortable. You are feeling too hot? He's already turning on the air conditioner. Too cold? Just wait 'till he finds the warmest blanket. And of course, he wouldn't leave your side. (only if you tell him to, but let's be honest, you'd never do that). He'd gently caress your head, or hold your hand, or lay with you. However, he'd always make sure that he isn't hugging you too tight or that you always have enough space. (we all need a Ni-ki in our lifes)

When you compliment him when he dances:

Ni-ki loves when someone compliments him about his dancing, but he loves it even more when you are the one complimenting him, cuz he loves dancing and he loves you. Perfect combination. So, imagine this: he brings you to the practice room cuz he wants to show you the new dance he learned. You are sitting on the floor while you watch him, and can't help but feel the proudest person in the wold. I mean, he has the flawlest movements and he looks so happy when he dances that it makes you happy as well. Even tho if Ni-ki is full focused on his dancing, his heart fills up with happines when he catches the way you look at him. Your eyes are filled with so much love and admiration that he swears he is going to melt right there. But he forces himself to finish dancing first. There would be time for melting after that. So, once he finishes, he turns at you, and of course asks what you think about it. Even if there's absolutely no way you didn't like it, he always feel nervous while waiting for your answer. But the moment he hears the long (and I mean it) long list of compliments that come out of your mouth, all his fears desapear. The smile on his face could light up the whole universe, and before you realise it, he has picked you up and both of you are spinning in the air. (i'm deff not criying) Of course, once you're again on the floor, he would hug you tightly, thanking you for watching him dance.

During summer nights (for this one, let's pretend that Enha's house has a yard):

For Ni-ki, summer is the worst season. Seeing all those couples enjoying the long sunny days, hot weather and summer activities is like a constant reminder of all the things he can't do with you. But that's not going to stop him from spending quality time with you, so after thinking a lot, he comes up with the idea of remodeling Enhypen's yard to make it your own private space. He'd buy everything, from a cute tent, to little lights, to even a projector to watch your fav films. He'd be totally invested in this project, but his efforts would be worht it, cuz the result is nothing but perfect. Even the members can't believe that the now soflty iluminated yard, with the light green tent and the confortable cushions is the same yard form a week ago. And Ni-ki couldn't be more proud. Now you two have the perfect place to spend those summer night. And I can tell you that those nights were the best. Just the two of you lying next to each other, with your fav film playing, and the sky full of stars above you... It was like a dream.

When he comes back from a tour:

Tours are something bitter sweet for Ni-ki. Yes, he absolutely loves them, but it's so hard for him to be far from you for that long. That's why I totally see him calling you every day, texting you each time that something happends, and even filming some kind of vlog to show you what the tour was like, and what things he did. And of course, he would come back with a HUGE bag fulled of souvenirs he bought for your in each place. But he forgets all of this the moment he sees you. I swear that once he hugs you, he's not letting you go for a long time. He just missed you so much, your voice, your smile, the way you laugh... UGH, this boy can't put into words all those feelings inside his chest, so he just hugs you, and spins you arround, and covers you with kisses. And then, you better be prepared, cuz this boy is not going anywere. He's going to be sticked to you for the rest of the day. You might think he doesn't like physical touch, but when it comes to you, he'd practicaly become part of you. But you don`t care, cuz you also missed him so much :(

❤𝘕𝘪-𝘬𝘪 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯... 𝘉𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘞𝘪𝘴𝘩 ❤ ☽𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘳𝘦: 𝘧𝘭𝘶𝘧𝘧☾ ☽𝘞𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴: 𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘱☾

...And with a smile, the boy ended the live.

-Good job- a member of the staff said- You can go home now, the rest of the members said that they wanted to practice a bit more, but you should go home and rest.

Ni-ki nodded, and saw how the staff members dessapeared, one by one. Then, he took a look at the live set. The balloons and the rests of the cake gave the room a happy athmosphere, but it didn't match with how he was feeling.

It's not that he wasn't happy, after all, it was his 18th birthday. But it was as if all that joy he had felt the night before, thinking about how he was going to spend his birthday had dessapeared. The day hadn't even gone that bad, since he had had time to spend with his members and even with you. However, he couldn't stop thinking about that sad feeling inside his chest. He didn't want to be selfish, after all, the members and you had rearenged all your schedules to throw him a little party, but he felt that, for all of you, that day wasn't as special as for him. Even if he didn't show it, Ni-ki had been waiting for december 9 for a really long, long time. He was finally an adult, and that ment that he could do all those cool things that his hyungs made, and people would finally stop seeing him as the baby of the group. So seeing that the rest weren't as excited as him kinda disappointed him.

-I have to stop thinking this way- the boy whispered to himself- I should be grateful instead. The all made big efforts to be with me today and, after all, it's just a birthday. How can I be so childish?

But still, when he left the room, his heart was as heavy as his footsteps.

On the way to where the car was waiting for him to go home, he passed infront of the studio where the memebers were still practicing. He could hear voices and the sound of one of their oldest songs form there, wich surprised him a bit, because they weren't working on any old song at that moment. Ni-ki thougth about entering the room to tell them that he was leaving, but he didn't want to disturb, so he just passed by, saying a quiet "goodbye" to them. It had been a long day, and he couldn't wait to go home.

The house was cold and dark when he arrived, but he didn't switch on the lights. Passing by the silent living room and kitchen, he went directly to his room, without looking at anything else aside from the dark corridor infront of him. The familiar room greeted the boy, and only then he felt a bit better. He sat on his bed, the same that had seen him cry sometimes, but also the same that knew all those nights he had spent talking and laughing with the members, as if they were 12 years old again. The memories that those walls held started to fill Ni-ki's mind, and, for the first time, he wasn't sure about turning an adult. After all, what could assure him that everything was going to stay the same? He didn't want nothing to change, those three years had been the best part of his life, and even tho turning 18 didn't ment that things would be different, was that fully true?

He sighed, deep in those thoughts, but when he tried to lay down, his head collided with something he hadn't seen before. He turned on the lights and, for the first time, he could see the box waiting beside him. He took it with both hands, curiosity leading his moves. It was a medium sized, light blue box, with a white ribbon on top of it. A hand written note told him for who it was: Ni-ki.

He opened it, carefully, and took a look at the inside. A thick book and an envelope is all he found. He took the book first, and when he opened it, it was as if a hurricane of memories escaped from it. It was a photo book filled whit pictures from before his debut to those last weeks. Moments with his members were captured in those pages, but also precious moments with you, since the day you started dating to the last afternoon you had spent together. It was as if all the good things that had happened to him were put together in that book, and the boy felt a wave of happiness and gratefulness inside him. All of you were his family now, and he couldn't wish for anything better.

He was going to put the book back in it's box when he remembered the envelope. With a nervous heart, he took the letter inside of it, and recognized your handwriting the moment he saw it. Taking a deep breath, he started to read.

To our best boy, Ni-ki:

If you are reading this, it means that is finally December 9, so happy birthday! The members and I wanted to do something special for you, and we thought about something that you could keep, that's why we are writing this letter.

Honestly, we don't have much to say, except that we can't believe that you are already 18. We swear that yesterday you were still the little boy who slept everywhere and always followed the members wherever they went. And look at you now, taller than everyone else, with a successful career and the luck to say that you made your dream come true. We couldn't be more proud of you, and we mean it with all our heart. Specially because during these 3 years there were some difficult moments where we couldn't protect you all we would like to, or make you feel better. You had to overcome some hard times, but you were able to stand up again, and that says a lot of you.

However, despite all those moments, when we look at you, we still see the same boy who get's happy just by seeing a puppy, the same boy who can't hide a smile when he dances, and the same one who never, ever gave up on his dream. We know that you could't wait to turn 18, but please, never change. We couldn't imagine our lifes without your smiley face every time you prank us, or the way you always try your best to impress us, even if there's nothing about you we wouldn't be impressed about. Your are a very important part of us, and we feel the happiest for being able to make our story with you. Ni-ki, you are going to go very far, so don't forget that we always got your back, not only as teammates, but also as friends (and as a girlfriend!) This photo book shows the journey we have already walked, but promise us that we wil continue making good memories together for a really long time. And promise too to keep being the happy little boy we love, because we can't imagine our lifes without you.

Tears were already rolling down Ni-ki's face when he finished reading. That letter was like the warmest hug he ever had, and it just filled him with the most pure joy and...

-See? I told ya, he was going to cry- a sudden, and familiar, voice said behind him.

The boy turned around, just to find Enha members and you smiling warmly at him. Everyone could tell the emotion in your eyes when you looked at him.

Ni-ki tried to say something, but the tears didn't let him.

-Awww, we didn't mean to make you cry- you said softly before reaching the boy and hugging him.

Feeling your arms around him and the confort of your presence made te boy cry even more. You pat his head gently, trying to calm him, and then the members joined the hug too. It was a moment that would stay in your hearts for a very long time.

-I thought that you were still practicing- Ni-ki said when he finally stopped and the eight of you broke the hug.

-And not celebrate you turning 18?- Heeseung asked.

-But you already threw me a party.

-Did you really thought that we wouldn't make nothing more special for your birthday?- Jake said.

-We know how much you've waited for this day, one party wasn't enough!- Sunoo added.

-I thought that it wasn't that important - he mumbled.

-Dude, you just turned 18, how on earth wouldn't we think it wasn't important?- this time, it was Jay the one speaking.

-You are our maknae, everything involved with you is important for us- Sunghoon added.

Those words would be stuck on Ni-ki's heart for a long time, but for the moment, the only thing he was able to do was smile, trying to not let the tears out again. Noticing this, you caressed his hand, trying to give the boy some confort. The way the tears dessapeared after that let you know that it had worked.

-So, do you want to see what we've prepared? -Jungwon said with a smile.

-Wait, there's more?

-Of course there is! But you have to close your eyes first if you want to discover it- you said this time, pulling out of your pocket a pice of fabric- May I?

Ni-ki nodded, leaning closer to you so you could place it arround his head.

-Ok, that's it. Now stand up and follow me- you added, talking the boy's hands between yours.

Ni-ki did as you told him, and when he felt the warmth of your hands, couldn't help but smile. If you were the one guiding him, he would follow you to the end of the world.

When both of you started walking, he felt how you took him across the corridor, past the kitchen and trough the living room. It was incredible how those same rooms had seem cold and dark some minutes ago, but now that he knew that you and the boys were with him, there weren't anymore.

Ni-ki felt how you stopped in what he thougt was the living room. Everything was so still that, for a second, it looked as if all of you had left. The sound of your voice prove him that it wasn't true.

-Are you ready?

The boy nodded, and then he felt how you removed the fabric from his eyes.

For the first seconds, everything was dark, and the switched off lights didn't help at all. However, when his eyes adapted to the ambience, the surprise all of you had been talking about appeared in front of him.

-Mum?- Ni-ki whispered, not being able to do something more- Dad? Why are you here? How are you here?

You watched as the boy kept turning to his parents and then to the members, who were filming secretly the moment.

-Stop asking and go and say hi- you laughed as you pushed him towards his family- There will be time for explanations.

The boy did as you said, and soon he was part of a long hug with his mum, dad and even his sisters, who had come too.

-Aww, they look so happy- Sunoo said.

-I'm sure Ni-ki wasn't expecting this- Jungwon smiled.

-Guys, I feel like I'm going to cry too- Jake added.

-Don't you dare, if you cry we will all end up crying- Jay asnwered him.

-That's right- you chukled.

Some moments later, Ni-ki broke the hug and turned to where the members and you were standing.

-So, are you going to tell me how you've done all this?- he asked, signaling, not only his family, but also the fully decorated room and the cake he hadn't seen before.

-Easy- Heeseung said- We left the company early to prepare the house and to make sure Jay had enough time to make the cake.

-But I heard you practicing before living.

-That was just an old live we asked the manager to play to make you think that we were still there- Sunghoon said proudly.

-However, what we had planned wasn't this- Jake intervened- We were waiting here hidden because we thought that you would turn on the lights when you entered the house, and we could shout, you know, "surprise" or something. But you went directly to you room and saw the present that we were supposed to give you later.

-So we had to change our plans- Sunoo laughed.

-I had no idea- Ni-ki smiled.

-And about your family... It was Y/N's idea, actually- Jungwon continued- She was the one who contacted them, searched the flights and even went to pick them up at the airport this morning.

-Really?- Ni-ki asked, looking at you with shiny eyes.

-Well, I didn't want you to celebrate your 18 birthday far from your family- you answered with a smile.

-You are all the best, seriouslly- the boy said, and you could all feel the emotion on his voice.

-So, now that we are all here, who want's a piece of cake- Jay asked- I haven't been all afternoon baking for nothing.

You all agreed to that, so you gathered arround the cake, waiting for Ni-ki to make a wish. And it was at that moment, when the boy realized that there was nothing he could wish for, because he already had everything he needed: a caring familly that didn't mind coming all the way from Japan just to spend some hours with him, hyungs that always made sure he felt like home, and you, a girlfriend who always knew how to make him happy and that, without realizing, had become his safe place.

Please, stay always by my side.

He asked the candels before blowing them.

And it was sure to say, that his birthday wish would come true.

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to post something special to celebrate Ni-ki's birthday, even tho I'm not very satisfied with how it turned out. The only part I trully like is the one when he reads the letter. Maybe I cried a bit writing it, but who wouldn't. I still can't believe he is already an adult, time goes by really fast.

Anyway, I hoped you liked it, and let's keep supporting the boys and our precious maknae forever <3

... And with just one look, Ni-ki and her new that they were ment to be together.

You couldn't help but laugh.

-There's people out there who really have a lot of imagination.

Looking one last time at the fanfic you had just read, you turned off your phone. You had to admit that, from time to time, you liked reading the fanfics that some fans uploaded on social media.

Just curiosity, you always told to yourself.

But, at the bottom of your heart, you read them for another reason. Those fics always portrayed Ni-ki as a perfect person, someone that could perfectly be on a fairy tale. But you knew the truth: no one is perfect, neither him. Reading those stories always made you remember that you didn't fall in love with the perfect Ni-ki but with the real one. And he was just perfect in your eyes.

-What are you laughing at?

The sudden voice of the boy, entering the living room started you.

-Oh, nothing, just a short fanfic about you. Engenes are really creative.

-Are you reading those fics again?- Ni-ki asked, emphasizing the last word- Why would you read fictional stories about me when you literally have me?

-Well, they are fun.

-Oh, ok, I get it. I'm way more boring than those stories- he said, giving you a half offended, half joking look.

-C'mon, you know it's not that- You answered, punching his arm.

-Whatever- he rolled his eyes- What was the story about this time?

As he waited for your answer, he leaned closer to you, making himself comfortable on the couch.

-Nothing special, just another one about how you and the main character meet. It was extremely romantic and cliche- you added- Things like that never happen in real life.

-Are you saying that the way we met wasn't romantic?- again, he looked offended.

-We were like 14 when we met, Ni-ki- you laughed- How could that be romantic?

-Well, for me was.

-Wait, really?

That surprised you.

He nodded, avoiding your eyes.

-I didn't know that.

-Cuz I didn't tell you.

-Wait, now I want to know.

-Never- he replied quickly, his ears turning red at the thought of telling you all the things he felt the first time he saw you.

-Cmon Ni-ki, pleaseee- you begged.

-I won't tell you- he teased you.

-Please, I'll convince Jake to go and see that scary movie you wanted to watch.

His eyes widened.

-Really? That's almost impossible, Jake hates scary movies..

-I'll do it, I'll convince him, but please, tell me what you thought when we met.

The boy looked as if he was considering it.

-I guess you win this time- he finally said, hiding a smile.

-Yes! Oh gosh, I didn't think this moment would finally arrive.

This time, you were the one snuggling next to him, in the comfort of his warmth and embrace.

Ni-ki smiled widely at your actions, but you couldn't see his face.

-Ok, where do I start? Oh! I know. Everything started one random day at a caffe near the company...

[...]

-It was a rainy afternoon. I remember cuz I had forgotten my umbrella and had no choice but to enter that caffe. I had had a terrible day. I was still a trainee back then, and practice that day had been a disaster, not to mention that I had just arrived to Korea and I didn't know anyone. So I was there, sitting near the window with a cup of hot chocolate when I first saw you.

Your eyes shined with expectation.

-You entered quietly, almost with fear, and you sat down some tables infront of me. You looked stunning- his ears turned red- I swore I had never seen such a beautiful person in my life. You were wearing a light pink hoodie and some jeans, and your hair was a bit wet, but you still looked beautiful to me. However, what made me fall for you was your smile. I saw you smiling to a little kid that was there, and I don't know if it was because of the terrible day I had had, where the only emotions I felt were stress and frustation, but seeing your sincere smile made me think that maybe the world wasn't that bad after all. I kept looking at you for a really long time, forgetting about my bad day, but something was wrong. You had been watching the caffe's menu for a long, long time, and every time it looked as if you were going to order, you shook your head and stayed at your table. After 30 minutes, with a sad look, you left the caffe.

You nodded, remembering that day as if it had happened yesterday.

-I felt my heart brake when you left. Will I ever see her again?, I asked myself. I kinda felt stupid because I could have spoken to, but I just stayed there, watching you without daring to do something. It wasn't as if someone like you would talk with someone like me, after all.

-Why would you think that?- you asked.

-I don't know, my younger version of that time wasn't very brave, as you can see.

Both of you chuckled.

-Anyway. After that day, I decided to keep coming every afternoon to that caffe, hoping to see you again. For the first week, it looked as if you had dessapeared. But then, I saw you again. I was sitting on the exact table, so I saw you when you entered to the caffe. I swear I had never been so happy. You were there, infront of me, and you were ok and...

-Wait, you were worried about me?

-Maybe- Ni-ki answered, trying not to look at you so you wouldn't see him blush- I mean, you were nowere to be seen. What if something bad had happened to you?

-Awww, that's cute- you smiled- Ok, sorry for interrupting you, keep talking please.

He smiled and nodded.

-So, this time, I wasn't going to loose the oportunity to talk to you. This might sound weird, but during all that week I had been trying to figure out why you didn't order nothing. And I arrived to the conclussion that it was because you couldn't speak korean well and you were afraid to make a mistake. So, I had worked extremelly hard on my korean to be able to help you.

-There´s no way you practiced your korean just to help me order at a caffe- You were ashtonished by the fact that the boy had discovered why you didn't order, and even more after hearing the efforts he did just to help you.

-I know, I'm incredible- Ni-ki said proudly- It wasn't that hard, honestly. You could clearly notice that you weren't korean. Anyway, let me continue.

-When I saw you staring at the menu, I knew my moment had arrived. I walked towards you, and tapped your shoulder. And when you looked at me... I went completelly blank. I started pannicking because I knew that I had to say something. If not, you were going to think I was weird and I would never see you again. But then, you smiled at me, and I felt as if everything was going to be alright.

-I remember that- you said, a warm feeling spreading over your chest as the memories of that day came back- You asked me if I needed help, but at the beginning I couldn't undertand you. So you repeated it again, slowly, but without that tone that people used when they realized I could barely speak korean and that always made me feel as if I was stupid. I remember thinking that you were a nice boy for trying to help me. And you were also the first person who had been kind to me, so, even if I didn't tell you, I was trully thankful.

-I still remember the way you pointed at the hot chocolate when you finally understood me- Ni-ki continued, a big smile on his face- And how you managed to ask me if I wanted to seat with you. I swear I was the happiest boy in the world.

-And then we started with the napkin thing, do you remember?- You asked.

-How could I forget that? I still keep all of them- the boy said.

-You do? No way, me too!

Both of you laughed, filling the room with the happy memories of those days.

-We have to admit that it was a cute idea- you said- You know, writing on napkins the things we would like to say to eachother, but in our own language, so the other had to use a translator to understand it.It wasn't the best idea to comunicate, but it worked for a while.

-Yes, until both of us learned enough Korean to actually keep a normal conversation- Ni-ki laughed.

-The amount of afternoons we spent at that caffe was huge, but the amount of hot chocolate you ordered for me was even bigger.

-And I'd do it all over again. You can't imagine how happy those afternoons made me. Knowing that, after all the stress of training, I had someone waiting for me was the best feeling ever.

-Yeah, I felt the same. I had no one aside from you, so knowing that at least, you cared for me was a relief.

You stayed silence for a moment, remembering every detail of those happy first days.

-So, do you still think that the way we met wasn't romantic?- Ni-ki asked.

-Well, maybe you're right- you admitted- It was romantic .

-Who was goint to tell us that a hot chocolate and some napkins would lead as to becoming a couple- he said, smiling.

-Yeah... You know, I don´t tell you this things often, but I can´t be more happy and grateful to have met you, Ni-ki.

Those words made the boy´s heart jump with happiness.

-Me neither, I'm trully lucky for having someone like you to call the love of my life.

And with the warm feeling that those memories left on both of you, you kept sharing old stories and happy moments. However, the most exciting thing was that, despite all the good memories that you had made, there were even more yet to come, and you couldn't wait to live all of them.

I'm being completely serious when I tell you that I'm obsessed with it. My fav song is Orange Flower, I swear it's just so perfect that it makes me evaporate every time I listen to it.

Dating Ni-ki had taught you a lot of things. The time spent with him made you a more patient person, someone who could read people's thoughts just by looking at theirs eyes. And it had taught you too that, sometimes, you had to act more like Ni-ki's mother instead of his girlfriend, when he overworked himself, or even as a psychologist, when he wanted to open up about how he felt. You didn't mind this at all, you were more than happy to help the boy however you could, even if that ment that you had to switch between being his girlfriend, mum or psychologist.

That's why,when Jungwon called you that night, telling you his worries about Ni-ki and the way he had been overworking himself those days, you knew exactly what you had to do.

-I don't want to worry you, but I think you need to know this cuz I don't know if he tells you this things.

Jungwon's words still floated in your mind as you ran through Hybe's corridors. It was 2:25 in the morning.

-Lately, Ni-ki has been acting... different. He spends way more time practicing that usual. He wakes up early and returns home late. I don't think he has been sleeping very well lately... And I don't think he's been eating enough either. We've tried to talk to him, but he always says that he's fine. I think he just doesn't want to worry us, but still... You are the only one he will listen to.

-Ni-ki... Why didn't you tell me anything?

You asked yourself, still running towards the only place he could be at that moment.

After turning to the left for what felt the tenth time, Enha's practice room finally appeared in front of you. As you expected, you could see light coming form the inside.

-Ok, here we go- you mumbled before opening the door.

What you saw inside, made your heart broke in a million pieces.

Ni-ki was standing in the middle of the room, breathing heavily, as if he had just ran a marathon. His face was covered with sweat, and his eyes... You swore you had never seen such a tired eyes.

You opened your mouth, trying to call the boy, but you couldn't say nothing. Before you tried again, the boy neeled down, and falling to the floor, he fainted.

Those were the most distressing minutes of your life.

Before you could realize what you were doing, you had already reached Ni-ki's side.

-Ni-ki, Ni-ki!- you called the boy. But he didn't answered.

You tried to calm yourself as you felt tears forming in your eyes. It wasn't a good moment to cry.

You laid the boy on the floor, and started calling him again.

-Ni-ki! Please, wake up, Ni-ki...

Again, you didn't receive an answer.

-This isn't working- you said- But, what can I do?

There were only two options: on one hand, you could call someone and wait for them. That way, you wouldn't leave Ni-ki alone, but you didn't know how much time would take them to arrive. The other option was to run to one of the building's nursery that was at the other side of the floor. But you would have to leave Ni-ki alone.

The view of the boy, laying on the cold floor made you decide quickly.

-I'll be back soon, I promise- you whispered, looking at him one more time- Just hang in there, please.

You hadn't opened the door yet when you heard a voice behind you.

-Y/N...

You froze, a hand still looking for the door handle.

-Y/N, please, don't go.

Ni-ki's voice was almost a whisper, but in the silence of the night, you could hear it clearly.

-Ni-ki...- it took you no more than half a second to be again by his side- It's ok, sweety, I'm not going anywhere.

You took one of his hands into yours. Both of you were trembling.

You tried to smile, fighting against the tears, but he had already seen them.

-What happened, Ni-ki? Why didn't you tell me nothing?

-I didn't want to worry you- he started, his own tears rolling down his cheeks- You are always taking care of me, making sure I'm ok, and I didn't want to steal you all that time. But then I started to feel anxious because the tour is starting soon and I...

His breath started to hitch, his chest going up and down faster and faster.

-It's ok, Ni-ki- you tried to calm him- Everything's going to be alright. But first, I need you to calm down a bit. There's no need to rush, we have all the time of the world.

You placed your hands on his back and helped him sit down. Then, you hugged him.

-Try to match your breath with mine, ok?

You started breathing slowly and deeply, and the boy tried his best to follow it. After some minutes, he was feeling calmer.

-Do you want to continue?- you asked him- You don't need to tell me what happened right now, take your time.

He shook his head, still wrapped into your arms. You could feel his eyelashes against your neck with each flicker.

-I wanted to master all the choreographies, so I started to practice extra every day...

-And that made you forget about sleeping or eating well- you completed the sentence.

He just nodded silently.

Now that he was a bit better, you broke the hug to look him directly. There were still tears on his face, so you removed them carefully.

-How are you feeling now?- you asked after.

-Dizzy- he said- And tired.

-I have something that maybe can help a bit.

And you headed to the door, were you had left your bag. You then pulled a sandwich and a juice that you had brought just in case.

-Here, you will feel better after eating this- you said, handing both to the boy.

He accepted them and started eating in silence. You didn't say anything else but could feel Ni-ki looking at you from time to time, as if he was waiting for you to do or say something.

-Why aren't you mad at me?- he asked finally- I thought you would get angry or you would shout to me or... I don't know.

You could feel his voice trembling, making you feel even sadder.

-Shouting doesn't help when it comes to find solutions- you said- And I'm not angry, I'm just... worried. I mean, I understand why you want to always make perfect performances. I get that you want to give your best to all the engenes that support you. But you also forget that engenes biggest desire it's to see you happy... and healthy. They don't care at all about you making mistakes as long as you are having a good time during the concert.

Ni-ki looked down.

-And what hurts me the most is you still thinking that you are being a burden to me when you are having a bad time. You never steal too much of my time, Ni-ki, cuz I'm here for whatever you need. I don't care if it's almos 3 am in the morning, if you need me, I would always be by your side. And if I need to travel the whole world just because you need it, I'll do it. A thousand times.

Ni-ki's eyes filled with tears while hearing you, moved by your words.

Your eyes soften by looking at Ni-ki, and you both hugged again.

-I'm so sorry, Y/N- he said between small hiccups- I'm sorry for thinking all that.

You patted his head softly, trying to comfort him.

-I love you, I love you a lot- he then added.

-Me too Ni-ki, more than you can imagine.

You stayed like that, holding eachother, who know's how long. The only thing you felt was Ni-ki's body wrapped comfortably around you, his head resting on your shoulder... And his little snores, that told you after some time that he was finally getting the rest he deserved.

You kissed his forehead, and in the middle of the night, with only the silence of the building as witness, you made a promise: to, no matter the time or the place, always be by his side.

❤𝘕𝘪-𝘬𝘪 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯... 𝘛𝘸𝘰 𝘱𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘦𝘴❤ ☽𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘳𝘦: 𝘧𝘭𝘶𝘧𝘧☾ ☽𝘞𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴: 𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘱☾

The storm outside your house turned the sky into a dark curtain. Only the light of a few lightning bolts helped you distinguish, from time to time, the shadow of a lost tree.

However, inside the comfort of your couch and the warmth of a blanket, you barely noticed all this. Your only activity for the last half an hour had consisted in watching videos of Enhypen's recent fanmeeting. Well, maybe we need to specify this. Your only activity had been watching non stoping that video of Ni-ki playing with one of the staff's dog, holding it and caressing his head as if it was the most precious thing ever. But, who could blame you? You were absolutely right when you said that it was THE cutest video on the internet.

-And then he says he's not a cutie- you mumbled, playing the video again.

However, watching all that made you remember that, a while ago, Ni-ki told you that he wanted to raise a puppy on his own.

-I think I would be good at taking care of a puppy, don't you think?- he asked you one day.

-I'm sure you would, Ni-ki. But didn't you have a rule about not having any pets at your dorms?- you said.

-Yeah... I wish I could do something about it...

But after some time, he had stopped talking about it, and you thought the boy had already forgotten about the puppy.

You couldn't be more wrong.

When the door's bell rang, you knew that only one person could be behind that door.

-Surprise...- Ni-ki greeted you with a shy smile when you opened the door.

He was completely soaked, his eyes covered by his wet hair, not to mention his trembling body due to the freezing temperature.

You had to hide a smile at the thought of him looking like a wet puppy who had returned from playing in the rain.

-You should stop coming to my house in the middle of the night- you said instead- It's dangerous, you could get lost or something worse.

However, you opened the door completely to let him in.

Only when Ni-ki was already in your living room, you noticed something he was carrying with him. It was covered by what looked like a blanket, or maybe a jacket.

-I guess those aren't snacks, am I wrong?

-Not really...

He hadn't finished saying that when whatever he was carrying started to... bark.

-Oh no- you said- Oh my god Ni-ki, please tell me that it's not a dog.

The boy looked down at the puppy that had just popped his head out of his embrace. It was a little ball of fur, white, with shiny eyes and fluffy tail.

-I can explain, I promise- he started, panicking a bit- I was going back to our dorms when I saw him. He was lost, wet and looked hungry. When I came closer he jumped into my arms. I don't think he's dangerous or aggressive, he just needs a home...

-But Ni-ki, I can't have animals here, the lady that rents me the apartment would kick me out.

-I know, I know, but I can't have pets neither, and he looked so alone... Please, only for tonight.

You looked at the boy, at the way he was holding the puppy with so much care as if he was willing to protect him at all costs, and then at the dog, who was happily wagging his tail.

You sighed, knowing that the promise you two were about to make wasn't going to last.

-Okey, but only for tonight.

-Yes! Oh my gosh, thank you so much, Y/N, you're the best- Ni-ki said with shiny eyes before hugging you.

-I know- you laughed. And then, looking at the puppy, you added - So, where should we start?

-A bath, I think, he kinda stinks- Ni-ki said.

-Yeah, you're right. Would you mind taking him to the bathroom while I search for a towel we could use? And I think I have some dog's champu, don't ask me why.

The boy nodded and headed to the bathroom.

While you were searching for the things you needed, you heard Ni-ki talking to the puppy with the sweetest voice, and you had to make a big effort to not melt right there.

-Don't worry, buddy-he was saying- You are in good hands now.

When you finally arrived, Ni-ki had already put the puppy in the shower.

-Let's get started then- you said.

But when you tried to approach the dog, he growled at you, showing his teeths.

-No no no, buddy, she's not gonna hurt you- Ni-ki instantly said- Look, she's a good person.

And without leaving you time to react, he hugged you. Thank god he didn't see you becoming a blushing mess.

-See, nothing to worry about.

The dog tilted his head, and after some seconds, he leaned near your hand, as if he was asking for pettings.

-Good boy- you smiled- And now, let's gonna give you a bath, ok?

[...]

-He looks so cute- Ni-ki mumbled when you rolled up the dog into the towel- He looks like a burrito.

The puppy leaned his face near the boy's one and bumped his nose into Ni-ki's cheek. A smile spread on his face.

-Now that he is already clean, you should take a bath- you told the boy- And change into dry clothes. I don't want you to catch a cold.

-I guess you're right. I'll be back soon, ok buddy?- he caressed his head gently- Oh, and if his hungry, I bought dog food, you know, just in case.

After saying that, the boy disappeared and you headed to the kitchen with the puppy following your footsteps. As Ni-ki had said, near the wet jacket he had used to bring the dog you saw a can of food. The puppy waited calmly while you were searching for a bowl and when you finally poured the food into it, he jumped in excitement.

-There you go, buddy.

And you couldn't help but smile.

[...]

You could hear Ni-ki's laugh from the leaving room, where he was playing with the puppy. It was almost 3am, but you could tell he hadn't noticed that.

From the kitchen's door, you watched them, and for a second, you felt as if you were in one of those films where the boy meets the dog that will become his best friend. Ni-ki was laying down, and the puppy was running around him. You could clearly feel the happiness that both of them irradiated.

-They really look as if the were ment to each other- you thought to yourself.

After some seconds, you returned to what you were doing: preparing something hot for the two of you. While the hot chocolate was getting ready, you realised the sudden silence that came from the leaving room.

That could only mean one thing.

-Ni-ki-?- you asked, entering with the two mugs of chocolate.

But only the puppy lifted his head. The boy was completely asleep, his chest slowly moving up and down, and a small smile spread on his face.

That sight made your heart melt.

Leaving the mugs on the table, you took a blanket and, carefully, tucked the boy in, leaving a small peck on his forehead. Then, you sat on the floor.

The puppy looked at you, and then, slowly, started approaching. You stayed still, and when he realised that there was nothing to fear, he jumped to your arms.

-You are such a cute ball of fluff- you smiled, petting him.

The dog looked at you with shiny eyes, and then he looked at Ni-ki. Getting out of your embrace, he snuggled next to him.

-You really like him, right?- you asked- I wished I could do something to keep you here, Ni-ki looked so happy when he was with you... He really wanted a puppy, you know? I think it's because it reminds him of when he was in Japan. We use to like things that remind us about times when we were happy.

However, you new that you had to take him the next day to an animal shelter.

You wished you didn't have to.

[...]

When Ni-ki arrived to your house the next day, he had a sad look. The living room seemed different without the puppy running around.

-It's amazing how much you can love someone you had just met, right?- you asked him.

-Yeah...

And then, doing a big effort, he asked what had worrying him since last night.

-Did they accept the dog at the shelter?

You could tell his heart was breaking by the look of his eyes.

-Well, I didn't take him to the shelter. I wanted to make sure that he hadn't any kind of chip that could tell us if he had already a home.

-And... He had one?

-Actually... yes, he had already a home.

And you handed him a piece of paper.

Tears were already forming in his eyes when the boy took it. But when he read the address of the owner... He noticed that something was wrong.

-Y/N... This is your address.

But that wasn't all. At the space where the owner's name was written, he could read his own name.

-What does... Why is...

You smiled at his confused face.

-The dog had already an owner, Ni-ki. You. He hadn't any chip, what meant that he didn't have a home. But I new that he had already found his boy. You are his boy.

And at that moment, the puppy, that had been hidden at the kitchen, ran to Ni-ki's arms.

-Tell me this is not a dream, please Y/N-was the only thing he could say before hugging the dog.

-Don't worry, it's not- you laughed.

-You are the best, seriously. I don't know how to thank you this.

But the smile on his face and the way he looked at the puppy were more than enough for you.

-There's only one thing he needs now. How are you going to call him?

-Lucky- he said.

You smiled, and thought that, from that moment, you were going to have two puppies.

Just wanted to say that, about the crochet doll, someone really wise told me in the comments that I should do what my heart tells me, and right now, he really wants to start that blog. So get ready for it! (little reminder that the doll it's not perfect, and maybe it doesn't looks exactly like Ni-ki, but I tried my best ^^)

Little announcement:

Hi everyone, it's me again! Sorry this is not another imagine, but I wanted to know your opinion about something related to this account. As you all know, the only things I've posted here were little imagines about Ni-ki, but it's not easy to come up constantly with new ideas and it's even more difficult to write them down in a way I feel satisfied. That's why I don't post constantly. The thing is that I sometimes feel I kinda abandon this account and I don't give you enough content. So, I've thinking about what else I could post, and I've come to this idea: recently, I've crocheted a Ni-ki doll, and I thought about doing a small blog with it, so I'd be able to not only post imagines but also little blogs about it. Would you like me to do that? I think it's a good idea, but also want to know your opinion :]

❤𝘕𝘪-𝘬𝘪 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯... 𝘖𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶❤ ☽𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘳𝘦: 𝘧𝘭𝘶𝘧𝘧☾ ☽𝘞𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴: 𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘱☾

When you are dating an idol, going on dates as a normal couple it's almost impossible. That included cinema dates, arcade dates and... fancy dinners at restaurants. To you, that didn't matter much, you were more than happy to date Ni-ki, even if that ment thet your most exciting date would be a movie night at Enha's dorm. What you didn't know, was that the boy was determinated to make you experience what a normal couple life would feel like... Even if he had to add a bit of imagination.

Even tho it was only 7am on a Saturday morning, you couldn't sleep. Finally, Ni-ki was going to have some days off, and you couldn't wait to tell him all the plans you had thought for the two of you.

-If only he were already awake...-you sighted.

But you didn't need to wait much, cuz suddenly your phone began to rang. A big smile spread on your face after reeding the name on the screen.

-Good morning, Ni-ki- you greeted the boy happily.

-Hey Y/N-he answered.

-I hope you are ready to have fun these days, cuz I've thought about a lot of things we could do!

-Yeah, about that... meet me today at 7 pm in our dorm, ok? Oh, and wear something fancy! See ya!

-What, Ni-ki wai-

But the boy had already ended the call. You stared at the phone's screen with a puzzled look. What was he planning?

-I hope it's not another prank-you mumbled- But what does he mean about wearing something fancy?

The clock beside you showed the time, 7:15 am. Getting out of bed, you headed to your closet. You had exactly 11 hours and 45 minutes to find something appropriated for what Ni-ki had planned... Whatever that could be.

11 hours and 30 minutes after the morning call with the boy, you arrived at Enhypen's dorm. You checked your outfit again, a long red dress with shiny little stones you didn't even know you had and heels you had borrowed from your sister.

-I hope I don't have to run tonight-you said looking at them before knocking on the door.

I can assure you, you weren't going to run nowhere.

After some seconds, the door finally opened, but it wasn't Ni-ki who came to greet you.

-Jungwon?- you asked when the boy smiled at you from the inside- What it's happening... and why are you wearing a suit?

The boy signalled you to come inside and, after pulling a notebook out of nowhere, he asked very politely:

-Good night, miss. You must be Y/N, right? I'll guide you to your table. There's already someone waiting for you.

Jungwon made a gesture so you would follow him, and not knowing what else you coul do or how could you respond, you let him lead you.

When you finally arrived at your supposed table, a gasp escaped from your mouth. Infront of you, with the most beautiful bouquet of flowers you had ever seen, Ni-ki was waiting for you, dressed with a black suit.

-Ok- you laughed, starting to think you were dreaming- You need to tell me what it's going on.

Ni-ki smiled, getting closer to you.

-You look more beautiful than all the stars we could count in the sky- he said.

-Heyy, what are you talking about?- you answered trying to cover your red cheeks- You also look stunning. You should wear suits mor often, the make your eyes look really beautiful.

The boy smiled even wider, and then, shyly, offered you the bouquet.

-I didn't know which ones were your favourites, so I picked one of each tipe just in case.

-Awww, that's so sweet, there was no need to do it- you said taking the bouquet with shiny eyes. It was truly beautiful.

-Of course it was. There's no romantic and fancy couple dinner without flowers.

-A romantic and fancy dinner?-you asked, curious- What do you mean?

-Let's take a seat first.

And gently, he pulled your chair so you could sear comfortably.

-Thank you-you smiled.

After seating infront of you, Ni-ki finally started talking.

-You know, since we started dating, I have always wanted to go to a fancy restaurant with you, and have one of those romantic dinners. But, as an idol, that's almost impossible to do. So I thought, if we couldn't go to a restaurant together, what about bringing the restaurant to us?

-And how are you supposed to bring the restaurant to us?- you asked.

-Well, I have my own way-he smirked.

At that moment, Jake entered the room with a tray full of delicious looking food. Like Jungwon, he was wearing a fancy suit.

-Oh, it looks like chef Jay finally finished preparing our dinner- Ni-ki said proudly.

-Wait, are you telling me that you convinced your members to help you and literally turn your house into a restaurant?-you had never been in more shock during all your life.

-Yeah- he nodded- Quite impressive, right?

-How did you managed to do that?

-Well, let's say that they gave me a "maknae coupon" on my last birthday. Basically, I could ask for whatever I wanted and they would help me to get it. But I could only use it once.

-And you decided to use it in this dinner, instead of... I don't know, buying videogames or something you like?

-Bingo.

-You are truly a sweetheart.

-Only for you, princess-he winked.

A warm feeling spread all over your chest by hearing how the boy wanted to make something special for you. You were truly lucky for having someone like him.

-And now, we should start eating before it gets cold, don't you think?- Ni-ki asked with a smile- Heeseung hyung will come soon to play the playlist I've made with all your favourites songs.

Seriously, you were really really lucky.

-I think I'm gonna explode-you said-I've never eaten this much in all my live, but it was truly amazing. Jay is such a good cook.

-I know, right?- Ni-ki answered smiling.

-I hope you still have space for the dessert- Sunoo said while holding a tray with two pieces of cake- Sunghoon hyung and I have worked really hard preparing it cuz someone had told us that it was your favourite-he added looking at Ni-ki.

-Well, I guess then I have no option, I can't say no to cake-you smiled already holding the spoon.

Ni-ki watched you eat proudly, and then, with a shy smile, asked:

-Did you enjoyed the dinner? You know, I have to leave a review at the restaurant's website after this.

You laughed.

-The dinner was amazing, and all the workers at the restaurant were incredibles-you said- But, do you know if there is a place were I can leave a review to the best boyfriend ever? I would like to thank mine for this amazing date, for thinking and planning all this, cuz it has been one of the best nights in my life

Ni-ki's cheeks turned red after hearing that, but tried to play it cool.

-Yeah, I think I've heard about it, but I'm sure that the best review for your boyfriend it's seeing how much you enjoyed the dinner. Anyway, the night it's still young, so would you like to dance with me?- he asked, getting up and offering you his hands, a smirk dancing on his face.

-Nothing would make me happier- you smiled.

And with that, the night went by between dances, the sweet melody of your favourites songs, both of you holding eachother... and of course, the sweet looks of the other members, who were watching you from afar, happy for the two of you.

Wow, such a long time I hadn't written nothing. I have to admit that I was working on another imagine, but then this idea appeared and I decided to change it. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the chapter, and I hope to post again soon.

❤𝘕𝘪-𝘬𝘪 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯... 𝘔𝘪𝘥𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦❤ ☽𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘳𝘦: 𝘧𝘭𝘶𝘧𝘧☾ ☽𝘞𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴: 𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘱☾

It was 11 pm when you finally reached Enhypen’s dorms. You were supposed to be there since morning, but some problems with a school project that accounted the 90% of your final mark, changed your plans all way.

You silently oppened the door and went in, thinking that Ni-ki would be already asleep. The company had gave the members some free days, so both of you had planned to stay at the doorms and spend some couple time. But, by the way it all had started, you couldn’t help but feel like...

- Y/N!- all of a sudden, a familiar voice was heard, accompanied by a pair of arms hugging you before you could realize- You’re finally here.

You smiled at the presence of your boyfriend, letting his warmth embrace you as it made disappear a bit of the tiredness on your face.

- Hi, Ni-ki- you smiled- I thought you were already asleep.

- Why would I be asleep knowing you were coming over?- he asked as if it was the most logical thing ever- C’mon, get inside, it’s freezing out there.

You did so, and he helped you taking off your coat and putting away the small bag you had brought with you.

- You haven’t had dinner, right?- he then said, a worried look on his face- Why don’t you go and change into something more confortable while I lay the table and prepare everything?

You nodded and watched the boy as he headed to the kitchen humming a song. You coulnd’t deny that he looked happy, but still... You shocked your head, trying to scare those thoughts, and went to change.

Once you arrived to the kitchen, you saw Ni-ki watching with a proud smile everything he had prepared.

- Today’s dinner is sushi- he said smiling- I know how much you like it.

- Wow, it looks delicious- you said, sitting on a chair- You’ve cooked all this?

You saw how his ears turned red as the boy answered.

- Well... Jay did, but I helped too, I promise.

- That’s okay Ni-ki- you laughed.

- Anyway, how was your day?- he asked suddlenly- What about your project? Where you able to finish it?

- Well... Kind of. I mean, yeah, it’s almost done, there are only some small details left, but nothing serious. It was a really important project, almost all our marks depend on in, but I’m glad it’s finally over. About that- you continued, avoiding his gaze- I’m sorry for not coming earlier. I know we had already plans for today but...

- Don’t worry about that, Y/N- he softly smiled- You have other important things to do, and I would never complain about-

The boy was cut by your phone ringing. You were going to ignore it, but when you saw the number on the screen, you almost jumped to take it.

- I’m so sorry, Ni-ki. I have to answer, it’s important.

The boy nodded and, as you went to the living room to talk, he started to clean everything. However, there was something that kept coming to his mind again and again. You looked extremelly tired and stressed, plus the feeling that you were worried about something else that the boy couldn’t tell.

- I have to do something about it- he mumbled, worried, to himself.

Once he finnished, he went to the living room, thinking that you had alredy hung up since he hadn’t listened to your voice in a while. What he found there, was completelly different from what he thought.

- Y/N?- he asked, almost in a whisper, when he saw you sitting on the sofa, your hands covering your face. He swore he could hear little sobs- It’s everything okay?

You lifted your head, and that was the moment when he saw your red eyes and the tears covering your cheeks.

Not saying a word, he sat next to you and hugged you tighlty. Whatever had made you cry could wait until you had calm yourself.

- It’s all gone- you managed to say after some minutes of the boy patting softly your back and mumbling sweet words- All the project it’s gonne. It has... desappeared.

- How come something like that happened?- he asked carefully.

- I don’t know- you said- I really don’t know...

Seeing the tears forming again, Ni-ki brought you closer.

- Don’t cry, Y/N, we’ll find a solution, I’m sure we will- he rassured you.

- I think... I think I should go home- you said after some minutes. If I start now, maybe I can do half of the project before tomorrow, and the other half-

- You want to go now?- the boy asked in a surprised tone- It’s late, and dark and cold. Plus you’ve been working on that for weeks, I don’t think you’ll be able to finish in that time all by yourself.

- But it’s the only way- you said- What else could I do?

After some moments, Ni-ki answered.

- Let’s dance.

- What?

- I said that we are going to dance.

He took out his phone and chose a soft song, one of your favourites.

- I’m telling you I lost the most important project in my life and you want us to dance?- you couldn’t belive his words.

- No, I want us to dance ‘cause it’s the only way I know to tell you that it hurts me seeing you like this, and that I will do anything to help you doing again the whole project, but right now I just want to see you smile again. So, please, will you dance with me?

You stared at the hand that Ni-ki gave you, and after some seconds that to the boy felt like ages, you took it, whiping away some tears.

- Yes, of course I’ ll dance with you.

A genuine smile spread on the boy’s face, and after placing softly one of his hands on your waist, and the other on your back, he lead you to the center of the room.

- Then, let the midnight dance begin.

The firsts notes of the song filled the house, and you let the boy guide your moves. His shiny eyes and the way he was holding you, with all the care someone could, made your heart replace all your worries and stress with the most warming feeling ever. And before you could realize, all your tears were gone, replaced by a big bright smile.

When the song ended, you were feeling so much better.

- Thank you- you said, resting your hear in his chest, hearing his heartbeat.

- There’s nothing to thank- Ni-ki replied, placing his chin on your head at the same time- You know I’m here for everything you need.

You smiled at his words, hugging him tighter.

- However- he suddlenly said- There’s something more worrying you, am I wrong?

You felt your heart jumping inside your chest.

- You know you can tell me anything, right?

A sigh left your mouth. Sometimes it wasn’t that great that the boy knew you that good.

- It’s just... I’m sorry.

- Why would you be sorry?- he asked in confussion.

- Because... You are the idol, the one who normally would always be busy. But instead, it’s always me the one who can’t come over most of the times we want to see each other. And that’s frustrating, cuz I know that you make really big efforts to be with me as much as you can, and I always feel that it’s me the one who spoils everything- you sighed again- I don’t know, it’s just... I think you deserve someone better.

The silence filled the room, and with every second that past, the feeling that you had messed up grew bigger.

- That’s the most stupid thing you have ever said- Ni-ki finally spoke.

Your eyes widened.

- The fact that I’m an idol doesn’t mean that you have to always be free, Y/N. You have your own private life too, and I’m completely fine with it. Plus, it looks like you’ve forgotten all the times you’ve come to the company when I wasn’t at my best, or when I was feeling lonelly or just needed a hug. Despite all your obligations, you’ve always been there for me. So don’t ever say again that I don’t deserve you, cuz it’s not true. I love you, Y/N, and that will never change.

With a big smile, he brought you closer, making you feel the happiest person.

- Then, what if we dance again?- he asked.

And like that, that night became one of those moments that both of you would never forget.

The sun was peeking outside the window, and thanks to the noise that came from the streets, you knew that the city had already waken up. And there you were, lying in bed because someone was still sleeping.

- You should be grateful you look that good even sleeping- you whispered to your boyfriend, putting away some lost strands of hair from his face.

Ni-ki scrunched his nose at your contact and you chukled. Slowly, he oppened an eye.

- Good morning- you said sofly- Did you sleep well?

As an answer, he pulled you closer to him, as if he hadn’t slept the whole night hugging you tightly.

- Yes- he said, still with a husky voice- Very well.

- Then, do you want some breakfast?- you asked, caresing his hair- I’m starving.

You tried to get up, thinking that the boy would agree with you, but looks like he didn’t, cuz he stoped you, putting one of his arms arround your waist, and lying you next to him again.

- I don’t want to eat, I want to sleep more- he whined.

- But Ni-ki- you tried to convince him- It’s late. What about all the things we had planned for today?

- I know, but...- he went silent for a moment, as if he was thinking whether he should say or not what he was thinking.

- But?

He sighed, finally speaking.

- You know we are going on a tour in a few days... and that means that this is probably one of the last times I’m gonna have a good sleep in a while.

You looked at him with sad eyes. You knew that he loved being an idol with all his heart, but you couldn’t deny that hearing him saying those things made you worry about him.

- I’m sorry, I’m sure that all those schedules probably don’t leave you enough time to sleep-you said.

- What?- he looked at you as if you were talking about something completely different- No, no, that’s not what I meant. I mean, yeah, we have a lot of things to do, and with the concerts and the rehearsals we don’t have much time to rest, but thats not...

He went silence, not knowing how to continue.

- Then... Why can’t you sleep properly?- you asked, confused.

Ni-ki sat on the bed, looking everywhere but you.

- I can’t tell you, I’m sure you will make fun of me the rest of your life- he said with a shy smile.

- Hey, c’mon- you punched his arm sofly- When have I made fun of you?

He looked at you raising an eyebrow and you laughed.

- It’s okey tho, you don’t need to tell me if you don’t want. Don’t feel preasured.

You were going to add something, but before you could say anything, Ni-ki spoked.

- I can’t sleep properly cuz I got so used to sleep with you that it feels strange. Remember the other day, when you came to our house? You asked what those blankets and the big pillow near my bed were. Well, there are heat blankets and a heavy pillow the members gave me on my last birthday cuz the know I have trouble to sleep when I’m not with you. And they kinda work, at least most of the time. But obviously I can’t take them with me on tour, and I can’t take you either, so...

He carefully looked at you, not knowing what your reaction would be.

- That’s... the sweatest thing someone has ever said to me- you said, with a wide smile.

- Don’t you think it’s... weird?- he asked.

- Not at all. In fact, sometimes it happends to me too, but I just need to hug one of your hoodies to be able to sleep again.

The boy smiled sofly, and this time, you pulled him closer to you, both of you laying again on the bed.

- Then, what if we sleep for a bit longer?-you asked.

You looked at your phone to check the time, and started to run even faster. It was late, very late, and if you couldn’t find Ni-ki during the next minuts, you knew you would loose your last chance to see him before he leaves for the tour. You crosed another corridor and finally spotted someone familiar.

- Jake!- you called him out of breath- Have you seen Ni-ki?

The boy greeted you and kindly explained that, due to some problems on their normal practice room, they had to practice in other room, and that’s were you could find the boy. After giving you the exact directions to find the place, you thanked him and headed there.

You found the room and quietly went in. As Jake had said, Ni-ki was there, still practicing. You noticed that all the mirrors were covered, so, knowing that the boy couldn’t see you, you rushed to give him a back hug.

- What the-?- he asked confused, but when he turned arround and saw your smily face he couldn’t help but smile happily too.

- Surprise!

- Y/N! You scared me- the boy laughed- What are you doing here? It’s really late.

- I wanted to say goodbye before you leave and... bring you something.

The boy looked at you while you took something from your handbag.

- Remember this?- you said with a smile, showing him your favourite plushie, the one with a dog shape.

Ni-ki nodded.

- I want you to take it on your tour. I know it wont probably help you to sleep better, but at least it would remind you of me and how much I love you, even if we are far from each other.

The boy tooked the plushie, that looked smaller in his hands.

- You sure you want me to take it? You alwasys sleep with it, will you be okay?- he asked, worried.

- Of course I will! But be careful and take care of him- you added quickly- And don’t take it to the pool or something!

Ni-ki laughed, hugging you tighly.

- Gosh, I’m gonna mis you so much- he mumbled.

- Me too, but we’ll be okay, I’m sure- you replied with teary eyes.

Ni-ki pulled you away sofly when he felt your tears, and wiped them away carefully.

- Shh, don’t cry, Y/N- he mumbled, cupping your face- I’ll call you every day and I’ll send you photos of your plushie, so you can see I’m taking good care of him. And of course I’ll bring you something nice.

You smiled at his words.

- You don’t need to buy me anything. Just have fun, okey? This is what you’ve always dreamed of, you have fought so much to be here, so enjoy it as much as you can. That’s the only thing I ask for, Ni-ki.

You both hugged, a mixture of happines and sadness filled the air. There wasn’t anything important left to say, except one thing.

- I love you- Ni-ki and you said at the same time.

And after the tears, your laughts filled the room.

Sleeping was deffinetly one of your favourite things. The feeling of the warm blanket arround, as well as knowing that you didn’t have to go to school or work the next day always made you feel happy, no matter what could had happened. And that day wasn’t an exception.

You turned arround, looking for a more comfortable position to continue sleeping for some more hours, when you suddenly noticed a sweet smell all over the place.

You oppened an eye, still half asleep. Where was the smell comming from, and why did it look so familiar? It wasn’t until you saw the little note beside you that you realized where you were.

Good morning! Yesterday you fell asleep on the couch, so I took you here. I hope you slept well. I assumed that you would be hungry, so I made breakfast. Come to the kitchen once you get up :]

Ni-ki

You couldn’t help but smile brightly as you read the note. Ni-ki’s soft side always made your heart melt, and it was one of the best feelings ever. In less than a minut, you had gotten up, and taking the hoodie that Ni-ki had left intentionally next to the note, you headed to the kitchen.

- Y/N, you’re finnally awake!- the boy exclaimed as soon as he saw you- I’ve been waiting for ages.

You smiled as you hugged him, not knowing a better way to start your day.

- Good morning for you too- you replaid, still with a half asleep voice.

- Are you hungry?- the boy asked, trying to hide the smile that was forming on his face just by looking at you- I made chocolate bungeo-ppang, your favourites.

- You did?- you said happily- No wonder it smells so good.

He nodded and turned arround to get some of them before you could see his flustered face and read cheeks. Hearing you complimenting him was one of his favourite things ever.

- Alright, what do you want to do today?- he asked once you had finnished eating.

- Mmm... what about staying home watching something?

- What? Tomorrow is Christmas and you want to stay home?- he said, not believing you- I even cancelled all my plans and schedules just to be with you.

- Okey, okey, sorry- you apologized quickly- Any ideas?

- Well, in fact, I made a list of things we can do.

You laughed, thinking he was joking, but stopped right away when Ni-ki took out the list and started reading.

- We can start at the arcade, we haven’t been there in ages. Then, we could go ice skating or bowling. The Christmas fair starts at 6 pm, so we can eat lunch at a new japanese restaurant I found nearby, and then go there. And last but not least, we can see all the Christmas lights once it gets dark. What do you think?

Ni-ki looked at you with those big shiny eyes that you loved that much, and waited for your answer.

- Well... those are a lot of things to do- you said, impressed by the long list- I don’t think we will have time to...

But you didin’t end what you were about to say, because the sad look on Ni-ki’s eyes made you change your opinion really quick.

- Nevermind. Get ready, Ni-ki, we have a list to complete!

The boy jumped excited, and started to pick up his things.

- You are gonna have the best time of your life, I primise- he said before leaving to change into something more confortable.

- I’m sure I will- you said, smiling.

- Wow, today was an amazing day- Ni-ki said, laying on the couch with an exhausted yet happy smile.

- Yeah, I still can’t beileve we got to do all the things in your list- you admited- I really thought I was gonna stop after ice skating, I’m in pain in parts of my body I didn’t know I had.

Both of you laughed at the memories you had made at the ice rink.

- That’s cuz you were sooo bad at it- Ni-ki teased you.

- Look who is talking, the one who almost falls into a bunch of kids.

- I swear the came out from nowhere- he replaid.

- Yeah, sure- you laughed.

- At least I won something at the fair games- Ni-ki changed the topic.

- That wasn’t fair at all. You know that my sight it’s not that good, plus those rings were too far.

The boy stuck out his tongue, making you punch his arm.

- You can’t complain tho. After that, I took you to see the lights and bought you hot chocolate- he said- And I gave you the teddy bear I had won at the fair.

- You’re right- you smiled- I’m so lucky to be with you.

Ni-ki came closer and hugged you, resting his chin on the top of your head. Feeling his arms arround you and his warmth made you feel as if you had won everything this life could give you.

- Oh, look at the time- you suddlenly said- It’s 00:23, 25th of December, time to open the presents!

But the boy didn’t answer. Instead, he suggled closer to you.

- I think presents can wait a bit more- he said with a sleepy voice- I already have the best present ever here. Thanks for spending the day with me, Y/N, and thanks for spending every day with me. I really hope to be with you for the rest of my life. I love you- he mumbled, closing his eyes.

- Don’t worry, I don’t plan to spend the resto of my life with another person that it’s not you, I primise- you said- And I love you too, Ni-ki, more than you could ever imagine.

The staff member looked at you with sad eyes.

- I’m so sorry, but they are not here.

- What?- you said- But, Ni-ki told me that...

- Yeah, their manager literally came here 5 minutes ago, saying something about last minute filming stuff, y’a know...

- I see...- you tried to smile, but failed. You were so exiced about spending Halloween with your boyfriend that you had even planned everything. But now... all of that was gonne.

- If there’s something I can do for you...- the staff member said.

- Oh, no, it’s okay- you quickly replaid- I’ll just go home. Thanks for everything.

And before someone could say anything, you headed to the lift.

- I guess I’ll spend the night alone- you sighed, watching yourself on the mirror, with your cookie costume (Ni-ki was supposed to be dressed as the Cookie Monster) and holding the paper bag with the sweets you had decoreted- But Ni-ki could at least texted my to...

You were suddenly interrupted by the lights of the lift turning off.

- What the...

The doors slowly began to open, and you flinched. Outside, everything was dark.

-Oh, c’mon- you sighed, trying not to panic.

Taking out your phone, you turned the lintern on, and stepped out of the lift.

- I need to find the exit- a strange noise was heard- Fast.

But that wasn’t gonna be easy, cuz you didn’t even know in which floor you were. You spent almost 20 minutes walking in the dark until you found a door open. Not having a better option, you entered the room.

- I swear, why the hell this things only hapend to me- you said angrily- And where is everyone? This place looks like-

But you couldn’t finish the sentence, cuz you stepped into something and fell to the floor, loosing your mobilephone and the only light you had.

- This is driving me insane. What’s going to happend now? A ghost it’s goint to appear or what-

- Booo!!!

A voice shouted near your face, making you scream the hell out of you.

You got up and ran to the door... Until you heard a familiar laugh.

- What the... Ni-ki?

When the lights suddenly turned on and you saw your boyfriend laughing to tears on the floor, you where nothing but confused.

- What are you... The staff said...- you tried to ask, but couldn’t even form a sentence.

And that’s when you realized what was Ni-ki wearing.

- Wait, why are you wearing your Cookie Monster costume? I though you were...

- Filming something? Yeah, that was the point- the boy finally replied, coming next to you.

- Then, everything was a lie?

- Of course it was! Where you really thinking that I would mis spending Halloween with you?- he smiled- I’ve been looking forward this day for almost 2 months!

- Then the lights going off, and the lift... I can’t belive I fell in one of your pranks again- you sighed, trying to hide how relieved you felt that all what happened was not real.

- But it was fun, wasn’t it?- Ni-ki smirked- Glad I got to film you getting scared by-

- No way you filmed that!- you said, panicking- Delete it right now! Or else I...

- Or else, what?- he teased you.

- Or else I’ll say Jake to upload a picture of you dressed as the Cookie Monster on Weverse- you proudly said.

- Never- this time, Ni-ki panicked.

- Then you know what to do- you smirked.

- Ughh, okay...

- Much better- you smiled when the boy deleted the video. And hugging him, you added- You look amazing on that costume tho.

- You really think?- he hugged you too, whith a bright smile on his face.

- Of course I do! Actually, I didn’t thought you’d wear it.

- Why not? Everything for my little cookie.

And when you heard that, you couldn’t help but feel the warmest feeling inside your heart.

- Sooo, what are we doing now?- Ni-ki asked- I think you’ve planned a lot of things for tonight, righ?

- How did you know?

- Boyfriend things, I guess- he smiled.

-Heyyy, c’mon- you teased him.

- I’m not telling you, Y/N!- he laughed.

And after after that, he took your hand softly and led you to the exit.

- Let’s go, the best Halloween ever it’s about to start!

You turned on your phone screen again with a bored look, only to see that it was 12:24 am. How could a sunday morning be so boring? What does people do to keep themselfs busy? You wondered again if it was a good idea to call your boyfriend, since you hadn’t known about him for almost two days, but you shook your head; he was probably busy filming something with his members, and you didn’t want to disturb anything.

- I guess I’ll spend another sunday watching films all day- you said laying on the couch.

But when you were about to take the remote control, your phone began to ring.

- Jay?- you said, thinking he called you by mistake.

- Uhm... Hi, Y/N, how are you? Uhm... one question, are you busy right now?

- No... Why?

- Well, Ni-ki has been sick since two days ago, and we have something important to film today, but we can’t take him with us... so I was wonder- Ouch- he said suddenly, and you could hear Jungwon whispering him to say “we” instead of “I”- Uhm... We were wondering if you could come and take care of him while we are out.

You smiled, happy cuz you now had something to do, and that something involved your boyfriend too.

- Of course!- you said- I’ll be there in ten minutes.

When the boy ended the call you hurried up and took a few things you could need, and then you headed to their house as fast as you could.

Ten minutes later, you were there.

- Y/N!!- Jake greeted you as soon as he opened the door- Good to see you.

- Same goes for you!- you said with a smile while entering to the appartement.

- Y/N, thanks for coming- this time, Jay came to your encounter- We have to go now, but I left plenty of food at the fridge, as well as some medicins you could need. Call us if you need anything.

- Got it- you said- See you later, guys- you bid them a goodbye as they left.

- Okay, let’s gonna see ma sick boy- you said, heading to Ni-ki’s room.

You oppened the door slowly, thinking he was sleeping, but oh boy was watching something on his phone.

- Heyyy how’s my sick boy doing?- you said.

- Wha-

He was so surprised that his phone almost fall on his face.

- Y/N? What are you doing here?

- What, aren’t you happy to see me?- you said, sitting next to him

- Heyy, it’s not that- he replied punching softly your arm- It’s just... how did you know that I was sick?

- Well, Jay called me this morning asking if I could take care of you while they film something, so here I am.

You saw how the boy looked down, a strange look on his eyes.

- It’s anything wrong?- you asked.

- No, it’s just... I’m old enough to take care of myself- he pouted.

- Aww, are you a big boy now?- you tickled him.

- Y/N, please, stop- he laughed.

Sadly, his laugh was interrupted by some coughs, and that made you realized his baggy eyes and how pale he was. Not to mention that you could literally feel the heat coming from his forehead without touching it.

- Ni-ki, have you taken your medicines?- you asked.

- Pfff, of course- he said. But by the way he looked away, it was pretty obvious that it was a lie.

- Ni-ki...- you insisted, raising an eyebrow.

- Okay... I didn’t- the boy admited- But I have a good reason: those things taste horrible.

- See, these is why Jay called me- you sighed.

- Please, don’t make me take my meds...- Ni-ki begged.

- No no no, now you are under my care, so there’s no way you are not taking your medicins.

- Oh, c’mon- he complained.

But there was no way he could change your mind.

- So, first, let me see if you have fever, althow it’s pretty obvious that you have. Let me just grab the thermometer...

But Ni-ki was way faster than you, so he took it first and placed it out of your reach.

- Looks like you can’t check my tempeture now- he challenged you.

You tried to take back the thermometer, but he was always faster than you.

- You are sooo slow- he laughed. But once again he was interrupted by some coughs, this time even worse than before.

You looked at your boyfrind with sad eyes.

- Ni-ki, look at you, I hate seeing you this sick. Please, stay still and let me take care of you.

It looks that your words finally convinced him, cuz he handed you the thermometer mumbling a small “okay”. You put the gadget near his forehead, and leaned closer to see the result on the small screen.

- You look even prettier this close- he suddenly said.

At first, you thougt that he was just joking as usually, but when you looked into his eyes, you could see nothing but sincerity.

- Awww, thank you- you said smiling- I was going to return the compliment, but you always look amazing from every angle.

Ni-ki looked away trying to hide his blush, and you chukled.

- Well, obviously you have fever- you showed him the screen- Stay here while I prepare something to eat and bring your meds, okay?

You tried to tucked him with some blankets, but he kept moving.

- Can’t I go with you?- he asked- I don’t want to stay here, it’s boring.

- I know, but you need to rest if you want to feel better. And now, don’t move, I’ll be back in some minutes. Call me if you need anything.

But the moment you left the room, you heard the boy calling you, so you rushed to the room again.

- What?

- Can I get a kiss and a hug before you go?- he asked shyly.

- Of course- you smiled, giving him a kiss on the forehead and a bearhug- Better now?

- Much bettter- he smiled.

You nodded and went to the kitchen again.

[...]

- Y/N!!!

You sighed, knowing that this would happend.

- Ni-ki, you need to stop calling me every minut- you complained when you arrived at the boy’s room- You make me think that something bad happened.

- But I’m bored...- he whined.

- I know, but I’m almos done. Wait a little bit longer, okay? Then I promise that we’ll spend the rest of the day together.

- Fine...

You returned again to the kitchen, and enjoyed some minutes of silence. You knew that Ni-ki could be this childish sometimes, so you just had to have a little bit of more patience. You finished cooking some soup and were looking for a bowl when you heard a loud noise and then a door slamming. You ran to Ni-ki’s room with a worried look, only to find that it was empty.

- Ni-ki?- you called the boy, but noone answered.

You looked at the other side of the corridor and saw the bathroom door firmly closed.

- Hey, everything okay?- you asked softly.

Some seconds past until you listened a weak “no”.

- Can I go in?

Insted of Ni-ki’s voice, you heard that noise again, and that was the moment when you realized what was happening.

When you oppened the door, your eyes met with the boy ones, but only for a second, because before you could realize, Ni-ki leaned closer to the toilet again and started throwing up.

- Oh my...- you whispered.

You sat next to him, one of your hands on his forehead and the other patting softly his back.

- Don’t worry love, I’m here- you said to him.

When Ni-ki finished, you brought him next to you, laying his head on your chest. That’s when you realized that he was shivering.

- I’m not feeling well- he whispered.

His read and teary eyes, pale face and now little sobs made you hug him tighter than ever.

- C’mon, I’ll take you back to your room- you said, holding his hand.

Once again at his dorm, you tucked him with some blankets and brought the hot soup.

- Try this- you said passing him a spoon- You’ll feel better after having some of it.

You proudly watched as he ate almost half of the bowl, and past him a tissue when he didn’t want more.

- Well, you know what comes next, right?- you asked, taking the meds bottle.

You thought he was going to complain about it, but the boy just nodded and oppened his mouth while you gave him the spoon full of the disgusting liquid.

- Good boy- you said, giving Ni-ki a small peck in his nose- So, what do you wanna do now? I promised that I was going to stay with you the rest of the day, so...

- Can I get some hugs?- he asked, looking at you.

You nodded and he moved to one side, making you space to lie down next to him. You oppened your arms and the boy didn’t hesitate to snuggle in them, making you smile. One of your hands was going up and down on his back while the other was caressing his hair.

- I guess Jay was right- your heard him after a while- I still can’t take care of myself. I should’ve listened more to you, Y/N; I’m sure you were really worried earlier.

- Well... I was- you admited- But I can’t blame you, Ni-ki, cuz those meds really taste like hell. Can’t someone make them a bit... less horrible?

Both of you laughed.

- I’m really happy you’r here, seriously- the boy said, looking at you with those shinny eyes- You are the best.

- Awww, you know I’ll come whenever you need me. You are my big baby after all.

- Heyyy don’t call me like that- Ni-ki complained.

But still, he snuggled a bit closer to you, trying to hide a smile.

- You should sleep now, I’m sure you are tired.

- But I wanna stay with you more- he said.

- Who says that I’m not gonna be here when you wake up?- you asked with a grin.

Ni-ki smiled at you and then clossed his eyes.

- Sweet dreams, Ni-ki- you whispered.

Hi everyone!!! Well, first of all, how are you? Sorry for not posting anything in all this time. I kinda lost inspiration and didn’t want to write in that condition. But I’m back, so I’ll try to post more often ∧ ∧

Yeah, sorry this ins’t an update. It’s just I kinda run out of ideas, so I was thinking about oppening a request section. So if you want to request anything, feel free to do it!! You know this is a blog dedicated to Ni-ki, but I don’t mind writting about other member. It’s just that he is my bias, and I just wanted to open a blog dedicated to him. When Ni-ki arrived to the hospital, the silence didn’t augur anything good.

- How is she?- he asked rapidly the moment he saw your sister siting on a chair, waiting too.

- We don’t know- she sighed- The doctor says that she fainted, but no one has came here in hours.

Ni-ki sat heavily beside her, a sad and worried look in his eyes.

- She didn’t tell me that she wasn’t feeling well- he mumbled.

- I think not even her knew that she wasn’t okay- your sister tried to reassured him- But you know she’s strong, so don’t worry.

But even though he tried to smile, he couldn’t. The only thought on his head at that moment, was you and your ilness, the same that had already brought you to the hospital several times.

Be strong, Y/N he thought.

When Ni-ki opened his eyes again, he didn’t know how much time had past. He only knew that some one was coming.

- Y/N’s family?- a doctor asked.

Your sister stood up quickly and went near the man, hoping to hear something about you. Ni-ki looked at them while the walked out of his vision, and then the silence returned againg. But this time, there was something different. From the room the doctor came out, the boy could see lights, and something inside of him told him that it was your room.

Don’t go anywhere a voice in his head said. You don’t know if that’s the room, and maybe the doctor comes back with news about Y/N.

- Yes, maybe you’re right- he replied- But it can’t stay here anymore, knowing that she is somewhere here, alone.

And with that words, he walked towards the room.

What he saw inside, made is heart fall to the floor.

- Y/N...- he said, coming closer to the bed you where laying in, connected to several machines that the boy didn’t want to know what they where for.

The boy approached one of his hands to your face, trying to reach to you, but the thougt of touching something that he shouldn’t or disconnect any of the wires, made his gesture froze.

So he stood there, looking at you in silence.

- Y/N, you have to overcome this- he whispered softly, trying to smile- You know I hate seeing you suffering, because you diserve all the good things this world can give you. So please, don’t give up, I still need to thank you for making me the happiest person.

And then, trying not to make any noise, he sat on a chair next to you, with the purpose of waiting there until you wake up.

But the tiredness took over him, even if Ni-ki tried to stay awake, and he ended up faling asleep on your lap, with one of your hands between his.

What the boy didn’t know, was that you heard everything he said, but you couldn’t barely move, so there was no way you could comunicate with your bofriend.

Knowing that he was there, with you, gave you the strenght to fight a little bit more. But you knew that something was wrong.

He tought you where strong, but it was a lie.

And you felt the time running against you.

[...]

When Ni-ki felt your sister shaking his arm, he knew immediately that something had happend.

- She won’t make it- the older girl said, with tears in his eyes- The doctor told me that there’s no more time. This is the end.

The boy froze, feeling like the world was collapsing.

- That’s not true- he managed to mumbled- She’s strong, you said it yourself. And I still trust in her.

- Well, she’s not anymore. I know this is-

But your sister shup up abruptly. You had oppened your eyes.

- Y/N!- the boy said, coming closer to you- Please, don’t go, I can’t make it without you. I need your smile, your laugh, the feeling that everything’s gonna be okay when I’m with you. I need you.

You smiled weakly, wiping his tears.

- Who said I’m going to leave?- you asked, hugging him- I’ll be here as always. The only difference, it’s that this time you won’t see me.

- I don’t want to live without you- he cried- If you are going to stop here, I’ll do it too.

You suddenly broke the hug, looking at him with a serious face.

- Don’t ever say that again- you spoke- You still have a whole life to live, millions of things to do and a lot of people to meet- then, you softened your look- Please, don’t stop enjoying your life justo because I won’t be here. You don’t deserve that.

Ni-ki nodded, without being able to say anything, and hugged you again.

- I promise- he whispered against your neck- I’ll have the best life possible, for me, but especially for you, for all the things we couldn’t do.

You nodded, feeling your own tears rolling down your face. But insted of wiping them, you patted your boyfriends back, trying to spend with him the few moments you still had. But right after that, you felt your eyes heavier, and knew that the moment had come.

When Ni-ki came out of the hospital, your last words still sounded inside his head.

Thanks for loving me like no one has never done it before. I’d like to stay a little longer, but sometimes life it’s not fair. Whenever you feel alone, please remember that some one, between the stars and the moon, is looking for you, smiling every time you do, and hugging you form the distance every time you feel sad. Don’t worry about me, I’ll wait for you until the end of the world, so, until we see each other again, be happy, in the same way I was happy with you all this time. I love you, Ni-ki, and I always do. Don’t forget it, please.

The boy looked at the sky, covered by clouds. And then, suddenly, one star shone, making the world a bit more beautiful. When Ni-ki smiled, his tears mixed with the rain.

[...]

The boy woke up, and the first thing he felt, was a heavy feeling on his chest. Then he realized he was crying.

When he turned arround, he saw a photo of you and him on his nightstand, and all the memories came back.

You were gone.

- Y/N...- he mumbled.

- I’m here, Ni-ki.

The boy froze when he heard the voice, and slowly turned again, only to see you smiling at him.

- I’m sorry, I didn’t want to scare you, but I heard noises, and when I came to chek on you, you were crying, and-

- You are okay- he suddenly said, hugging you tighter than he ever did before- You are okay.

- Of course I am- you chuckled- Why wouldn’t I?

But when you saw tears falling on Ni-ki’s cheeks, you understood everything.

- You had a nightmare?- you asked softly, patting his head.

- The worst nightmare- he nodded.

- Well, I’m here now, so there’s anything to worry about- you smiled- We should try to sleep again, we still have some hours before the sun goes up.

- Could you please stay here tonight?- Ni-ki asked, holding your hand.

- Of course- you answered- All the time you need.

And then, after mumbling an I love you you gave him a forehead kiss, hoping that he knew that you would be by his side forever.

When you saw the number of Enhypen’s manager shining on your phone’s screen, you knew that something bad had happened.

- He’s okay, don’t worry- Jake tried to calm you.

But you had been too much time on that chair, waiting for the doctors to tell you something more about your boyfriend’s health.

- He just fell on his arm during practice- said Sunoo this time.

- Yeah, that’s what your manager told me- you answered- But, still...

- There he is!- Jay’s voice suddlenly filled the small room, and you looked to the place he was pointing.

Your jawn almost fall to the floor.

- Don’ worry, guys- the doctor that was with Ni-ki said, smiling- Just a broken arm. Yoy’ll have to take some rest, because it’ll take you some time to feel better, but that’s all. And be more careful next time.

And with that, he left, leving the eight of you in that small room.

- Y/NNNNN!!!- you heard Ni-ki shouting- Are you done? I’m bore-

- I’m here, I’m here- you said, entering to the living room with a tray full of food.

- Finally- he said, smiling.

- Hey, you haven’t been waiting that much- you complained, throwing yourself to the couch and taking the remot controller- And now, let’s start th-

- Wait!- he cut you suddenly- Where are the cookies?

- Oh, I must have forgotten them in the kitchen- you said- Could you please go and take them?

- Me?- he looked at you poutting- But look at my arm...

- Oh, Ni-ki, c’mon. You broke your arm, not your leg, you can walk perfecl-

- Pleaseeee- he said with puppy eyes.

- But... Agh, okay, I’ll go- you gave up, sighing.

- Thank youuu.

When you finally came back again, yo gave him the cookies, hopping them to be the last thing he asked for.

- Better? Anything else?- you asked him.

- No, this is all. Thank you, Y/N.

And with a smile, he pointed the place next to him, wanting you to sit there, which you did, of course.

- Okay, let’s start the film then.

But not even 15 minutes later, you heard your boyfriends voice again.

- Y/N? What if we play a game instead?

- A game?- you asked, not believing him- Now?

- Yeah- he nodded- What about Mario Cart?

- But we haven’t finished the film, you even chose it. And let me remind you that you can’t play with your arm like that- you sighed.

- That’s not fair- he whined.

- C’mon, what were you expecting for?- you replied, starting to feel tired about him behaving like a small children.

- Then, what can we do?- he asked.

- Finish the film, maybe? Or at least start it.

- But that’s boring. I wan-

- You know what?- you said, getting up- Do whatever you want, I give up. I tried to make yo feel comfortable, thinking that it could make you forget your broken arm. But the only thing you did was complain about everything. I know it’s not easy, Ni-ki, but you have to make an effort too.

- Y/N, wait. Where are you going?- he got up with a worried face.

- If you don’t want to finish the film, it’s ok, don’t worry. But I have homework to do.

And after that, you went to your room, closing the door. You felt terrible for saying that to Ni-ki, and you had to make a really big effort to hold your tears, but you also knew that it was the right thing.

So, slowly, trying not to make any noise, you laid on your bed. And without realizing, you fell asleep.

- Y/N? Y/N, please, wake up.

The first time you heard the voice, you thought you were still dreaming. But then it became louder, making you realize too that it was shaking.

- Ni-ki?- you said, opening your eyes- I swear if you start again lik-

But he cut you off, shaking his head.

- No, it’s not that. It... It hurts.

- Sorry?

But you suddenly looked at the way he was holding his arm, and realized what he was talking about.

- Oh, you mean your arm.

He nodded and that’s when you saw too that his was holding his tears. You felt terrible again, this time, for not realizing what he was going through.

- Okay, okay, don’t worry. Your doctor gave you some painkillers, remember? Stay here, I’m going to take them.

But when you tried to leave, he took your hand, looking at you with a sad expression.

- Don’t take too tim-

He suddenly shutted up, remembering how he messed up earlier, and not wanting to make that mistake again.

You looked at him with soft eyes, and came closer, giving him a hug.

- I wont, I promise.

And then, you left.

[...]

- How are you feeling now?- you asked Ni-ki, who was laying by your side, covered with a blanket.

- Better- he mumbled.

But the look in his eyes didn’t say the same, and honestly, you were feeling the same.

- Ni-ki- you said, turning around to face him- I’m so sorry for all the things a told you before. I didn’t mean to say them, but I was frustrated, and...

- I’m sorry too- this time, he also turned to see you- I should’t have been so selfish. You only wanted to help me, but I messed up.

- It’s okay, don’t worry, we both made mistakes. Let’s not gonna repeat them, okay?- you smiled.

- Okay- he answered.

You then oppened your arms, and he snuggled next to you. And making sure you wouldn’t hurt his arm, you hugged him, hoppeing to make him feel that you would be by his side forever.

- I love you- he mumbled, right before falling asleep.

- I love you too- you smiled.

You turned your head to the soft voice that just spoken, facing your boyfriend, who was leaned on the wall.

- Not yet...- you whispered, looking again to the books and papers you had been studying for days.

- But it’s very late. I understand you have to prepare hard for that exam, but if you don’t sleep properly...- he said, with a worried look in his eyes.

- Don’t worry, I’ll be done in... about an hour.

You tried to smile, but felt tired and stressed and failed.

- How many days you have untill the exam?- he asked.

- Four, but...

- That’s more than enough. Y/N, please...-he begged.

He came closer and took your hands, whining as a small children cuz he knew you couldn’t resist that. And he was right.

- Okay - you gave up with a smile.

- You are sooo stubborn- he giggled.

And with a smirk, he started to tickled you.

- Ni-ki, stop!

You tried to scape, but he was holding you really tight, yet carefully not hurt you, so the only thing you could do was laugh loudly begging him to stop.

- What did you say? Sorry, I could’t hear you- he said smiling.

- Please, let me go- you repeated, still laughing.

- It’s ok, don’t worry about that- he tried to calm you- Do you want me to sing something? A lullaby, maybe?

- Yes, please- you nodded.

And the moment you heard his voice, you could feel all your worries and stress desapearing. Like, you didn’t know how, but it just happened.

You snuggled closer to him, feeling his hand going sofly up and down all over your back.

- Sweet dreams, Y/N- he mumbled, fixing the blanket arround your body- I love you.

- I love you too- you answered softly.

And the, you fall asleep.
