ok anyways i think the main part of staying sober for daisy was feeling like failure was inevitable, because of who she is. all her life, never had one single person to count or rely on, she forms this relationship with herself, where she's unsure if she's worth it at all. that's why when people see her being so naturally confident, she realizes what she radiates isnt what she is. it's what the people around her want to believe she is. all her life daisy has not had a single man to rely on. even the loss of her virginity was unpleasant and she was too young to understand just what it meant. though i think where she lacks in relationships, she is so incredibly smart, she studied like hell and could've been, hell, a doctor if she tried. if she had attentive parents who cared about her, i like to believe she wouldn't have fallen into drugs. which is also why i carry such a disdain for her parents but whatever, we move. this is why i think simone is the most important person to daisy. simone is constant. simone is literally an angel at that point in daisy's life. daisy was in love with simone until she wasn't.

ok ive decided. honeycomb and regret me are nowhere near how any of us wanted the band to sound. it's completely fair to say we all wanted something more raw and rock n roll. but they aren't bad songs! i quite like them. i just wish the music went in a different direction from what we've seen so far. then again it's 2 songs so we'll see.
