there is going to be an arguably even more important election than the presidency happening on january 5th in georgia. the two senate seats in their state did not reach enough of a majority in this election to decide a winner, so theyre doing a “run-off election”. 

if these two seats are won by democrats they will flip the senate to a MAJORITY for democrats. we will have the presidency, the house AND the senate if the democratic candidates in georgia win. the policies biden promised could have a better chance at being passed!

if you live in georgia PLEASE vote for the democratic senate candidates on january 5th

if you do not, i recommend donating to the candidates election fund! :)

Today I stumbled upon this while checking out the social media of one of my fave YouTubers, Ebru Ergüner, and I couldn't stop crying. I also donated as seeing this broke my heart. The system of treating illnesses is so unfair, but we people have to stick together, to save each other while the government and pharma industry does nothing.

The price of the medicament costs over 2,3 million dollars, but thanks to the influence of Ebru + her herself and her community donating, only 179.263€ are needed to save the life of this little boy.

Yagizege has a rare illness and with his bad condition, he doesn't have much longer to live. But if around 44.000 people would donate at least 5€, he could get his treatment and he could live the rest of his life stable.

I am not good with words, so here is a direct description of the illness provided by his family:

Yagizege is 15 months old baby suffering from SMA type 1 (Spinal Muscular Atrophy). SMA Type 1 is a life-limiting condition. Though it is not possible to accurately predict, the majority of children (approximately 95%) life expectancy is less than 18 months. Yagizege has not received the medication that he needs every 4 month (Spinaraza - Nursinersen). Therefore he has difficulty breathing, and his condition is extremely urgent and critical.

The good news is that there is a treatment available that is proven to be effective. Yagizege would need to travel to the US to receive gene therapy with a medicine called Zolgensma . Zolgensma is the most expensive drug ever approved by the FDA. The cost of this treatment is 2.3 million Dollars. His family has raised approximately $600,000, and with your help, they can reach their goal. This is Yagizege's only chance, and you can help save his life!
