Thank you Anonymous for revealing this intriguing eastern egg -
“At the very end of the track "Happy Cycling" by Boards Of Canada, there's a reverse-speech message. If you play it backwards it turns out to be an excerpt of a 1970's interview with Jeff Lynn from E.L.O., in which you can hear him denying the use of 'backward masking' in E.L.O.'s music. You can hear him say 'someone would have to be a genius to do that' etc.”

Coffee Seeks Its Own Level. 1990. If one person alone lifts his cup, coffee overflows the other three cups. All four people need to coordinate their actions and lift simultaneously. Inspired by the principle “water seeks its own level”. I had been working on a series of projects using basic scientific principles learned in high school as a means to explore architectural issues.

Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is nonexistent. And don't bother concealing your thievery - celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: "It's not where you take things from - it's where you take them to."
Jim Jarmusch

We're going out tonight to break some things
We dine on lemonade and pigeons' wings
We'll set your shoes on fire and then your hair
We're kind of ugly, but we don't care
