being an adult and trying to be "responsible with my money" is so hard like literally what corners am I supposed to be cutting on this budget. what am I supposed to stop spending money on. my anxiety meds? food for my cats? impulsive takeout orders? spotify premium? patreon artists who draw huge throbbing monster dicks? all of these are completely necessary to maintain my quality of life.
I had a dream that Osaka became my best friend in like our 30s and she was bummed that people made fun of her online for being stupid when she was in high school and that made me furious so I used the Click remote to travel back in time to stop that.
Except traveling back in time woke me up...
EDIT: I forgot to say it here but she was a librarian :3
One of the more acute 'wow I have a nice comfy opaque bubble around me on here' things I experience semi-often is a viral post passing by about like 'everyone tell me your favorite FEMALE character for once!' or 'even if we ever actually got [standard antiheroic/tragic trope] as a woman you'd all just hate her'.
So strange. Almost as if the typical character being posted about isn't a deeply self destructive queer woman with more blood on her hands than your median 2nd century warlord. Sounds scary out there.
i love that discord doesn't tell you if someone's read your messages. like genuinely. normalize others not needing every second of your time right away. normalize taking time to formulate a proper answer. normalize this.
