It's okay, J. You'll be fine. In fact, you'll be more than fine.
You've always been good, you always showed up for yourself, you've always stayed strong and true to yourself, you never let the toughness of your situations change you or make you a hard person.
You're kind, funny, generous, and you love the people you love with the biggest heart.
You think you're alone but remember the people who stayed and/or came into your life in your darkest times. They stayed for you, they showed up, they loved you even if it's seasonal. You're more than you think you deserve. You have more than you think you have. So don't worry about being alone.

“Let them judge you. Let them misunderstand you. Let them gossip about you. Their opinions aren’t your problems. You stay kind, committed to love and free in your authenticity. No matter what they do or say, don’t you doubt your worth or the beauty of your truth. Just keep shining like you always do.”

It's easy to see what people have going but not what it took to get them there.
Be patient, J. Everything works out in the end. It always does and always will.

Milestones:
1. Getting excited house shopping with someone (for the 3rd time, bless me).
2. Finally bought myself a gold necklace instead of always having someone buy it for me!
3. Sticking to new habits and building new routines heh. I would not have expected that 31 year old me would be eating oats every morning!!

It's just amazing - all these new experiences.
The sight of him went from pain to anxiety to me just being full on nauseated.
How does the sight of one person even make you feel so disgusted to the point you wanna throw up.

It's been slightly past a year now.
Definitely in a better place - everything hurts less, occasional triggers still happens. Sometimes they leave me tearing, sometimes I only choke on my voice. Still doing pretty ok I'd say.
These days, the memories I'd like to forget and store so deep away seem to find their way into my mind. It's weird tho, I don't feel much about it. Still in that "I remember this but wow did it even happen" state. So so strange.
Just trusting it's part and parcel of recovery. I'll be ok. I know I'll be.
