My Activities during Borongan's Town Fiesta

AUGUST 24, 2023

We heard someone say that the caravan started to operate at Sawang, so me and my friends immediately got there just to see and take a ride, of course. So the first ride we took was the breathtaking one, which is the "vikings". At first, I actually didn't want to take the ride because I have this toxic trait that if I try to ride something dangerous, I always think of accidents. Unfortunately, my friends forced me to be with them on that ride. Well,  I didn't have any choice at that time, so I did. While the boat is moving, I don't remember anything else aside from calling my "mama", "papa" and "Lord" HAHAHA. After that, I promised myself not to ride again.

AUGUST 29, 2023

We tried to go back to the caravan with our boardmates. But this time, we tried the horror train ride. It's kind of funny because the seat is only for 2 people, but because of our ka OA-han, we were 3 on ours. On the first lap, nothing happened, so me and my two friends were still chill at that moment. But when the train went into the tunnel, all of us shouted. All I can remember is that there's someone inside of it, and they're trying to scare us, but to be honest, it's not actually scary.

The moment I am waiting for is when I will finally see my childhood's favorite singer, and that is Yeng Constantino. To tell you a short story, back in my childhood, I used to join singing contests. The first song I had ever sang was the song of Yeng, particularly "Ikaw". So when I heard Yeng sing that song in front of me, I was so emotional. I am sure that little EJ was so happy.

SEPTEMBER 7, 2023

The Vesper Day! While preparing for our dinner, our boardmate sent us a message that her auntie had invited us to a dinner at their house. So, we traveled there immediately. Well, I can say the food was yummy, and of course we're thankful for you offering us a free dinner.

SEPTEMBER 8, 2023 FEAST OF NATIVITY OF MARY

Here in the Philippines, it is our culture to celebrate Fiestas. So here in Borongan, the fiesta here is on September 7-8.

Our senior high school teacher invited us on their house. We're not expecting that our teacher invited also her co-educators which is our teachers also in senior high. The chika's are there, the kamustahan, and the advices.

After that, we got in the caravan again for the last time and try to ride the ferris wheel. All I can say is, the beauty of Borongan was stunning.

Even if the activities that I attended during the fiesta were only counted, I assured that I had fun!

There was an incident during the latter stages of the Philippine–American War in which the residents of that town on the island of Samar conducted a surprise attack on an occupying unit of the U.S. 9th Infantry. Yes, you're right, That is the town of Balangiga, and that is where I came from.

Hi, Hello, Mabuhay, Netizens, before I state my name here let me first tell you a quick realization about it. Up until now I don't even know what is the reason why my parent's gave me this so short name. Yes you read right, a short name. My name has two (2) letters only and that is EJ.  #TipidSaBallpenAtPapel HAHAHAHA. I will describe myself as somebody who is very positive. My passion revolves around singing, dancing, writing articles, and doing broadcasting. And that is the reason why I took Bachelor of Arts in Communication because i want to pursue my dreams in the field of media.

Anyways, let us go back to my place. We all know that every place of the Philippines has it's own wealth. Well in my place, we have three, and that are the Historic Bells of Balangiga. That three church bells were taken by the United States Army from the Church of San Lorenzo de Martyr in Balangiga, Eastern Samar, Philippines, as war trophies after reprisals following the Battle of Balangiga in 1901 during the Philippine–American War. But the good news is, the Bells were returned to our Church on December 15, 2018.
