He’s a cute little thing, Verrochio’s student. There’s always frantic energy about him, like a puppy that just doesn’t know how to stop himself once he’s got going. I’m not even certain the lad is talking to me, I think he’s talking to himself more than anyone else in the studio. I’m just here to pick up James’ commission. Perhaps I should talk to him though, he seems a little different from the other boys. And different isn’t always good in the eyes of some cruel beholders.

I’m not much of an art connoisseur, that’s James’ thing, but I do know drama. And the colours in this place are enough to blow most peoples minds, let alone the pretty pictures. So, how on earth could little Leonardo make this place even more so, I wonder?

you might realise that some people from bain’s circle don’t have surnames. this is because surnames weren’t used in medieval scotland until the late 14th century, and weren’t used between common scots until much later on. bain gets his surname from his teacher, jamie. james gets his front his distant relative william wallace. yes, THAT william wallace. annabella is a direct descendant from the ancient scottish royal family of macbeth., so she takes it from that. bridgette just wanted to be cool. :I

Bain's love life is extremely complicated....

They're always gonna be in love with James, even after all the shit they've been through. Bain is still married to Lucifer, but has been in a non-monagamous (which is how they ended up with three more kids) relationship with Jade for over 50 years. And then there's the ex-wife Konohana, who is literally a goddess, and one of Bains most trusted confidants. They also have a child together.... who is now a ghost, shrug. And Bain remains close to them both. Finally, there's Annabella. Bains first love. They've known her since childhood. But now Bains son, Irvine is in love with Annabella, and it's a very awkward situation for Annabella and said son.

All in all, it's a very dramatic love life.
