Hey, just wanted to get a new post going! Recovery has for the most part gone well, but took a little longer than expected. On top of that, it was a nightmare to get my doctor and my work's leaves department to communicate. What was supposed to be 3 weeks off, has turned into 7. I did not think I was going to have to accommodate for two and a half paychecks. Thus, I have bumped my goal up just a little bit to make sure I can cover for this loss without falling behind on bills and expenses. My car and rent are really killing me. I also want to start fundraising for the FFS portion of this ordeal. I'd like to have all that money ahead of time, so that once I get my date post consult, I can meticulously plan every detail; I am not allowing my employer leaves department to take the reigns like that again. Thanks again to everyone who's helped so far, and I hope I get continued support. 💚
