I was wondering about the benefits of Etsy sales. Are there any tips on which sales events to focus on and how to best prepare my store for Etsy sales?
I must admit that there are mixed reactions in the selling community of Etsy especially among sellers who are new to the platform. But I’ve observed that sellers who have been a part of the platform for some while, roughly a year or so, are mostly confident about Etsy sales and they eagerly participate in Etsy Sales. Being a Business Development Analyst for Etsy, I have come across a pool of sellers who have started it small, and by making informed decisions such as optimizing their product listings, updating their photography, and offering competitive pricing and promotions resonating with the Sales event have been very successful.
Some of the upcoming Etsy Sales Events that you must target include:
Spring Refresh Sale, March 11—April 15 (Observed during Sales date in United States, Canada, Europe, and parts of Asia).
Mother’s Day, April 1—May 12 (Observed on May 12 – globally)
Father’s Day, May 13—June 16 (Observed on June 16 – globally)

I opened my Etsy shop 6 months ago but since then I have been facing the issue of low sales. I have seen sellers make a decent amount of money on Etsy but it's not my case. Are there any suggestions to maximize my product visibility and sales?
Listing products on Etsy and Getting sales on Etsy are two different things. In my experience as an eCommerce expert, I’ve seen hundreds of cases where sellers have to close their Etsy store within a few months of opening due to no or fewer sales. But what I have observed is that most of these sellers make one or more of the following 5 mistakes:
Setting the product prices too High or too Low
Not getting rankings on Etsy Search
Listing products with incomplete or un-optimized descriptions
Not using original or attractive photos in listings
Selling products that have little or no demand on Etsy
I am sure you must have been making these mistakes which is hampering your chances of getting visibility or sales on Etsy. Once you make these improvements, you are most likely to experience an increase in product visibility and eradicate your issue of low sales.
