Okay but "Pretending not to be married" would be an incredible one.
Some kind of Love Island Win Your Dream Wedding reality show where all the contestants are placed on The Island, with the intent being that at the end of the show, they have all paired off and the winning pair get given their dream wedding.
Enter Mary-Beth Sheridan and George McCloud, who got married in 2002... Back when they were V------ McCloud and S---- Sheridan. Surprise! They're both trans.
The producers doing a cursory Google can't find marriage records for either Mary-Beth or George, and in the intervening years they've changed enough that nobody who went to their first wedding would recognise them. But now, they need to work together in secret to make sure that they win the wedding that they should have had 20 years ago.
Evil universe fanfic tropes like. Selling One Direction To My Mum. Chastity Pollen. Way Too Many Beds. Pretending To Not Be Married.

THE DAY OF LANGUAGES!!!
This 7th of May, 2024, we use our own language again!
If your language, native or not, is something other than English, on May 7th you can speak that language all day!
You’ll blog in your chosen language(s) all day: text posts, replies, tags (except triggers and organizational tags).
Regardless of what language people choose to speak to you, you can answer in your own.
Non-verbal, non-written languages (like sign language, dialects, otherwise non-written languages) are more than welcome! See my FAQ for tips
English native speakers can participate in any other language they're studying/have studied/know.
The tag is gonna be #Speak Your Language Day or #spyld for short.
Please submit me some language facts for me to share on this day <3

HAPPY WALPURGIS EVERYONE!
Summer is icumen in, I have collected my maypole (a little one, a 9ft sycamore stave that's somewhere between a true maypole and just a staff to dance with) and my tatterjacket is all ready!
Now, to watch the Wicker Man whilst wrapping up some paper flowers to dress it with, since I don't have any ribbons.
And then tomorrow at about 5am, I will go out and dance the sun up!

The one from my language is shiv- Which is just a knife, any knife. So the knife you use to cut bread is a shiv, the bandknife used in factories to cut layers of fabric is a shiv, the pocketknife you use as a combination screwdriver-letteropener-pry bar-pointer is a shiv... But coming into English it becomes an illicit kind of knife used for violence (especially a home made one), strongly associated with being prisons and secure hospitals and other places where people are dehumanised, or as a verb to stab someone.
The psychic toll when most of the words from your language loaned into English are words to do with crime, dirt, violence, drunkenness...
I'm probably gonna get yelled at for saying this but sometimes something isn't a real problem in fandom, you just learned a Japanese word describing a general fandom practice and got scared and decided it meant "The Bad Ones" of that practice

The Narita airport project was, at the time it was planned in the 60s, one of the biggest public-works projects ever attempted in Japan, but it ended up only a third as large as originally envisioned. That’s because the farmers whose land was seized for the airport resisted. The government chose the site, which is actually not in Narita proper but just outside the city in an area called Sanrizuka, after other municipalities closer to the city had rejected the proposed airport. Much of the land around Sanrizuka was controlled by the Imperial Household Agency, and the remaining plots were owned or maintained by farmers, many of them poor. The authorities didn’t see them as a problem, and the farmers resented their underhanded tactics and patronizing attitude. They refused to move. When police showed up to force the matter, the farmers’ recalcitrance inspired the radical left, including students. Like young people all over the world at the time, they objected to what they deemed to be imperialistic and capitalistic motives on the part of the older generation, and saw the Sanrizuka struggle as a means of striking back. The result was some of the most violent protests in the history of Japanese activism: six people dead and hundreds injured or arrested. The airport’s opening was delayed for years, its size and functionality (only one runway until 2002) seriously reduced, all because a handful of farmers wouldn’t budge. Obviously this is selfish of me but - If the button improved the life of literally everyone on earth except me, it would presumably also improve my life too. Like, if everyone else (eg) suddenly had both enough money to never have to worry about food or shelter again, and could spend all day every day doing whatever they wanted, then everyone would be less stressed, so would be nicer to each other, and would likely share their good fortune... Including with me?
I genuinely believe that some people could encounter a button that says “if you push this button everyone in the world has the opportunity to live a better life and your life remains exactly the same” and they would not push it.
They’d be like “well that button’s not fair to me, though,” even though there’s literally no other buttons around and nothing newly bad would happen to them if the button was pushed.

First thought: Was not expecting my mostly-trans and genderfucky cyberlocals to go heavily on "Gender=bodies and your desires for your body", when in the world we do have most of us are pretty solid on (eg) "A man is not a lesser man because he doesn't want to take testosterone but wants phallo, he's as much a man as the man who has the full suite of surgeries and who passes flawlessly, who is in turn as much of a man as the man who 'looks like a cis girl' and enjoys it, who is in turn as much of a man as the cis man" etc.
When patriarchy is totally 100% abolished and a thing of the past, and along with it cisnormativity, dyadicism, heteronornativity and the privileging of the nuclear family are just things that people see in history textbooks - Once nobody alive can remember living under those systems, and nobody alive has even met someone who did: Will men and women still exist?

When someone talks about how a scenario of someone in your demographic is just ‘a guy someone made up to get mad at’ but you know several people who do exist who are exactly like that (possibly even worse) but know that people taking their existence to then generalize on your demographic is more harmful than the assertion that those people don’t actually exist
