Song for Cornwall

Cornwall has been my second home for three years. The breath taking scenes of its countrysides and beaches offer no end of musical inspiration. It doesn't take a great photographer to capture its beauty!

Dream Themes doesn't just stop at making music about people, or businesses. Why not have a theme tune to remind you of your favourite place?

My favourite part of the world has been Cornwall ever since I had the privilege of moving there. So I want to share with you my love for this brilliant place in the form of a free ringtone, which I will be posting up in the following week!

How to Describe Your Dream Theme

I have had a lot of great comments about Dream Themes, about how much people like them - many thanks!  But there have been some comments about the difficulty in focusing ideas down to a single Dream Theme. The problem is that there are so many things that we do in our lives it is easy get to overwhelmed with ideas and then your mind just freezes.

So, I have drafted 5 questions in order to make it slightly easier to think of a Dream Theme, therefore reducing the amount of thinking that you have to do:

1) Who is it for? Is it for yourself? Your friend? Your business? It is important to point this out, since a Dream Theme for yourself will sound vastly different to one for a formal business.

2) How will it be used? Is it a ringtone? To be used on a website? Or just to walk around your favourite street, friends greeting you as you walk merrily along to your own Tailor-Made/Tailor-Played theme tune?

3) What style would you like? Are you a fan of big orchestras? Want to get down and funky? Prefer just a quiet folk sound? It would be embarrassing for both of us if you were a huge fan of Death Metal, and I sent you a New Wave Country track. Let's avoid that.

4) What interests you/your friend/your business? I'm not asking for a life story here. I want to know something about you, within reason, that will allow me to create a Dream Theme that is just for you. 

5) Remember! This is YOUR Dream Theme! You will be, apart from myself, the first person to hear this theme that is made just for you. So  be as adventurous and as wild as you like, within reason. If you want your Dream Theme to sound like cannons booming as you are knighted by your favourite action hero, then let me know. Similarly, if you just like the sound of rain falling on your roof at night, because it reminds you of a childhood memory, this is equally as important. I want to make your Dream Theme come true. 

So, here are 5 sections that may help you describe your Dream Theme. Keep it to about 100/150 words, as I may not be able to fit it all in.
