-gets told the guy he’s been in love with for multiple years treats him horribly and goes “yeah and”

-outsmarted an avatar of the lonely despite being in a horrible depressive episode with no contact to anyone else

-manages to make peter fully believe he’s dedicated to the lonely even as his crush of many many years is practically confessing his love at every interaction

Earlier you reblogged something with a link to the current boycott list from the BDS. I didn't see McDonald's on there. Does this mean McDonald's is no longer being boycotted? I tried finding my own info on this, but only came up with a reddit thread that didn't seem fact based.

No, McDonald's is still part of the boycott. They're what BDS calls an "organic targets." That means BDS didn't initiate the boycott campaign, but they support it.

Here's a brief explanation of the different type of targets, from BDS's own webpage (Updated Jan 5, 2024):

1. Consumer boycott targets - The BDS movement calls for a complete boycott of these brands carefully selected due to the company's proven record of complicity in Israeli apartheid. 2. Divestment and exclusion targets - The BDS movement works to pressure governments, institutions, investment funds, city councils, etc. to exclude from procurement contracts and investments and to divest from, as the case may be, as many complicit companies as practical, especially arms companies and banks. 3. Pressure targets - The BDS movement actively calls for pressure campaigns against these targets. This includes boycotts when reasonable alternatives exist, as well as lobbying, peaceful disruptions, and social media pressure. 4. Organic boycott targets - The BDS movement did not initiate these grassroots boycott campaigns but supports them due to these brands’ complicity in Israel’s genocide and apartheid against Palestinians.

*Eyes glowing bright red* if your knee jerk reaction is to be uncomfortable and/or offended if someone calls you “lucky” for being talented at something I need you to consider the fact that often people who are talented at something are very lucky to have been in an environment that was supportive of their interests and nurtured their skills. For example I am very good at roller skating, and was extremely lucky to have gotten into it at a time where it was very popular so there were many public resources I could consult and I had a family who was willing to buy me roller skates, drive me two hours to the closest skate shop, and buy me protective gear. Not everyone has those opportunities so if someone says I’m “lucky” for being good at roller skating well then, yeah, I am.

Getting asked “do you think he knows how much he hurt your feelings?” When someone who goes to ur school lied about you on a major online forum for a fandom you were both in, banned you from the forum, and then just pretended it never happened is so.

went to a discussion led by elliot page earlier today and there were many good things said but at one point the other presenter asked him "what's a cool thing about yourself that has nothing to do with being trans?" and he said "uhh this is all I've got going for me" and then paused before adding "if anyone has three oranges, I can juggle"
